Hanging Miku chibi papercraft

It's always so much fun to make Vocaloid papercrafts, since Miku herself is the ultimate cuteness. And when I saw a hanging, dangling chibi version of her, I thought damn, that is super cute, I need to make this into a 3D model!!! So, out came this chibi hanging Hatsune Miku papercraft, that I wanted to make as a really versatile toy. A cute yet simple template.

 *********************************************************

The papercraft is unfolded to 27 cm and has 6 pages to print out with all the optional faces included.

It consists of a 3D model of chibi Miku herself, with a simple 2-sided 2D chain that you tape on a ceiling or underside of a shelf to let her hang and dangle, and 10 facial expressions you can choose from.

Should be straightforward to make, and you can always use actual rope or a chain to hang her from any position, since the feet are made to dangle and she won't be able to stand anyway. The hands are 2D and super easy to make as well and the 2 hair tails are hollow on the inside, so it's even easier to assemble.

You always have a blank, locked PDO file included with any of my legit designs, free or premium, that I only share on my official pages, so you can be sure it has instructions and you can follow the simple 3D guide to assemble it for yourself.

TorikaraBallmon (Digimon) papercraft

WHY! Why didn't anybody tell me that such ADORABLE Digimon designs exist, but only in their card game and they don't use in the games as 3D models? Bandai Namco, come onnnn, make use of them already and make them into 3D textures cuties for people to play with in the games! I really hope we get to see some of these adorable little guys in the new game they have coming out this year! It would be a hit for sure! And I can't wait to play it too ;_;

Anyway, since I found out some super cute designs I gushed over for hours, I needed to make them into papercrafts, so I can print those out and make them in real-life to have on my desk as motivation-and-stuff XD And here it is.

****************************

The papercraft of TorikaraBallmon is unfolded to 12 cm height and has 3 pages to print out.

It is made out of a 3D simple body of the food Digimon, with smaller paws. The paws are indeed separate, so you glue them together first and then glue them on the body of Ballmon, so it's easier to make.

The fiddlier parts would be the paws, the 2 wings are pretty simple and easy to do.

I really loved the design as soon as I saw it in the anime and though it was super cute since then.

Park ball (Pokemon) papercraft

Decided to do a whole bunch of different life-size box Poke ball designs and I made a LOT, since I had so much fun making them XD so from now on, you’ll get to probably see at least 1-2 Poke ball papercrafts posted on my site for a long, long time.

They range from the normal in-game designs, to exclusive Pokemon designs I made up as OC’s. They are all relative in height, about 11 cm (not including the stand and the ears and accessories, if they have any), so they all fit together as a bunch. I made them as life-size Pokemon-themed boxes, since they can open and close like a box with a lid and they all have optional double-sided print pages for a colored inner side, so the box looks neater when built. The 2 buttons in the front are separate 3D parts glued on the front. They also all have optional stands, so you can place them inside and they don’t roll away.

*Note that all of them are more challenging to make, are more detailed and have smaller or thinner parts, so I do not recommend any of them to beginners. I think these are best suited for intermediate and experienced papercrafters, but who am I to say what you can and cannot do (;

**************

This is the Park ball design papercraft box. It is unfolded to 16 cm (11 cm of the actual Poke ball height) and has 4 pages to print out (3 of them being double-sided).

The preview picture shows the unfolded Poke ball template that stands apart a bit, so it is easier to assemble with the inner part shown, but you can also see the closed preview and how it looks, just so you know how it looks closed.

PopStep (My Hero Academia) papercraft

The new spin-off series of Boku no Hero Academia started, so I wanted to make the cutest character out of the bunch, called “PopStep”. And here you go.

**************

The papercraft of the cute Idol chick is unfolded to 20 cm height and has 3 pages to print out.

It is made out of a 3D simple model of PopStep, with simple 3D column “stands” on her head to glue on the 2D 2-sided hair tails, 2D 2-sided wings, an optional 3D microphone she uses in the first episode, and 2 versions for her hands: simpler 2D and more complex 3D hands.

Since she has plateau shoes and both stand firmly on the ground, she can stand comfortably as is, but you can also put weights inside, just to be sure.

I really loved the design as soon as I saw it, so I said I had to make her into a papercraft.

Burgermon (Digimon) papercraft

The papercraft of Burgermon is unfolded to 18 cm height and has 7 pages to print out.

It is made out of a 3D simple body of the food Digimon, with smaller 5 fingers on its hands. The burger-shaped cap is separate from the body and is made separately and slid on the head, so it's easier to make. The 3D breads are also a simple 3D shape and can be re-printed if you want to make even more buns for it to hold.

The fiddlier parts would be the hands with the small fingers, the ears, the feet and the 3D tail.

I really loved the design as soon as I saw it in the anime and though it was super cute since then.

Nyanners (VTuber) built papercraft

Already posted my Nyanners papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Nyanners-VTuber-papercraft-993331378

And now it’s time to assemble her and give you some pro-tips on how to make life simpler for yourself when doing these. Let’s go.

**********************************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, you can divide the assembly into separate parts: the head with the hair, the 2 arms, the blue pullover with the sleeves, and the legs with the shoes.

If we start with the head, you assemble the face and neck first. Then you glue on the front hair, glue on the pre-made cat ears on these, and lastly close it with the back hair. After this, you can glue on the 2D head parts.

Next, you can separately build the 2 arms, with either the 2D or 3D hands (note that I did the preview pics with the 2D version of the hands). When you got those, set them aside and start gluing together the 2 blue sleeves and glue those together. When you have all these parts, start gluing on the pullover at the neck, and when you come to the sleeve parts, glue those on. When you have the whole pullover with the sleeves done, only then press the pre-made hands inside to glue them on the right angle. And the torso is done.

Next, step is to make the legs. You do this part by assembling the legs from bottom to top and finish with the buttocks part. This means, build the shoes first, glue the leg from there upwards till you come to the butt. Since she sits, you don’t need to fill out the legs, but if you want to make sure she sits nicely, you can also put some weights inside the butt before closing it together.

All that is left is to do is to glue these parts now together. Glue the legs’ part inside the pullover, making sure to glue them at the right angle, so the figure can sit comfortably. And it's finished.

*Note: The papercraft preview is made with 2D hands. The files for printing-out have both the 2D and 3D hand versions, so you can choose which ones to make.

Machu (Gundam) papercraft

The new Gundam is out, called “Gundam GQuuuuuuX« XD try reading that out loud. Anyway, I like Gundam anime, mostly fort he gunpla models I love putting together :P but I also like the lore, so I though I would like to make the cute »Machu« pilot from the new series and here she is.

 *********************************************************

The papercraft is unfolded to 20 cm and has 3 pages to print out.

It consists of a 3D model of Machu with a simple 2D skirt that has to be pre-folded into the typical school girl harmonica shape, simple 2D hair, her 3D backpack and some simple add-ons. All in all a straightforward human papercraft that should be simpler to make, since you can make all the hair beforehand and just glue it on the head and you also have optional 2D or 3D hands that go inside the sweater sleeves.

She has a slightly bent leg, so it would be better to put weights inside those so she doesn’t tip over, but she should be standing on her own as well.

You always have a blank, locked PDO file included with any of my legit designs, free or premium, that I only share on my official pages, so you can be sure it has instructions and you can follow the simple 3D guide to assemble it for yourself.

*Note that I did make the preview pictures with the un-edited texture of the sweater, and the red stamp on it was added on and is now correct. You just don’t see it on the pictures.
