Another Steven Universe Future papercraft commission, keep getting used to these, many more comming in the future :)

The papercraft is unfolded to 1 meter height, that's why the unfold looks as it does, since the commissioner will make them in a pretty big scale, so hopefully we get to see the pictures of these assembled soon. As you can see it is not te same as the one I made first and am selling, since it is more complicated and in a different pose. These are also based on the last season, "Steven Universe Future", and not the old "Steven Universe" episodes, and the Diamonds are now good/happy. So you can see you can make even these kinds of papercraft commission, if you so wish.

Bell Bag (Animal Crossing) FREE papercraft

It's FREE Friday, so today I have to post another free papercraft for you to download. So here it is! Since everybody loves the new Animal Crossing game (sadly I can't play it since my finances are very limited at the moment), I decided to make a quick and fun papercraft for you to download and make yourself. And since we all like to get money, I though why not make the iconic "Bell Bag" from the series myself. 

The papercraft is unfolded to about 13 cm and has 4 pages to print. The bag is made in 3D and the rope in 2D, so should be simple enough. I also included the locked PDO file, so additionally to the edge ID you can always look it up in the 3D PDO preview how to make it. 

Needless to say that this is my model and my own textures, so I made everything myself and it's not the originally model from the game (although I have some of the characters from the game, so if anybody needs a commission for those, just write me). Wanted to share a somewhat simple design, so a lot of people can make it with no worries and just have fun with it really.

Chiisai Kyubey (Magia Record) built papercraft

I wanted to really make this cutie, since I love the Magia anime series so much, and I really do think that devils and bad things should be pink more ofter, since I hate the color XD So I wanted to make a little cute devil demon for myself, so it can look over my shoulder when I am working, just to give me that extra motivation maybe :D who knows.


In any case, the craft is quite wide, since it is 24 cm life-sized and has quite a large proportional tail. It was actually easier to make than I would think, since I though that putting on the pink ears would be more of a challenge so they won't fall off, but they are very compact and really hold together, so I am really happy with the outcome. Appart from the smaller pieces of the paws and maybe the pink ears, it's actually quite fun and simple to assemble. I started making the ears, then the pink ears and made the head first. After those I made the smaller front paws and joined those together with the head. Moving on I made the back paws and all of the remaining body, making sure to close it at the bottom part of the paws, since the seams will not be visible that way and you get a really clean, smooth surface. The head actually doesn't need any reinforcement in the inner parts, since it stands on it's own as well, so I didn't use any tape for that (but if you want to be sure and make it ever-lasting, then definetly use it and reinforce it in the building process). All that was left then was to make the tail, which I made sepparately and glued it on at the end on the body, and it holds like a rock (you can also reinforce the inner tail part, where it touches the body, since it could break off there if you move it too much).

I am very pleased with this bluid and it was definetly fun, since there are no super small pieces and most importantly NO FINGERS to make XD like with human papercrafts. So I always love animal-like crafts because of this.

Another one of my older designs that I really wanted to make is my sleeping cat. Really love cats and I though it would be fun to make as well. 

I first made the simple 3D ball and the fishbone, and then made the somewhat bigger basket. Since the whole papercraft is about 12 cm tall, it has quite a wide basket to fit the cat in, so be sure to have a lot of free space if you want to make it XD

After all of the extras were done, I moved on to make the 3D cat. I decided to make it in white, since I think it is the cutest design for me. All of the papercrafts cat is in 3D, so all parts are attached and can easily be assembled using the edge ID PDF file, that you get along. I started with the ears and made the head. Then I made the tail and the 4 different paws sepparately, so I could just attach those parts later on, so it was easier to glue together. I glued the 2 front paws to the head piece and made the torso till I was at the back, attached the 2 hind paws and tail, and closed it all on the bottom part, since it's the easiest and the seams at the end won't show that way. Then you got some 2D whiskers that you can cut out and glue on the face, if you wish, and the cat is ready for action, or more like ready to sleep some more XD That's just how cat's are, I guess...

Molang (Simple Version) built papercraft

Molang (Simple Version) built papercraft

As promised yesterday, I am showing you my Molang papercraft template and how it looks built, assembled by me of course. 

As said, the Molang papercraft is 18 cm tall and Piu Piu is about 8cm tall. Both have a simple 3D body, so I first made those. After you have the base bodies, Molang has two 3D arms and two legs. Those you build sepparately (just like a simple 6-sided box) and at the end you just glue them on the right spots. At the end you have the 2D ears, that you just cut out and glue on the head and Molang is finished. Piu Piu has all his add-ons in 2D so those are even simpler to make, his hair, wings and feet are cut out and also glued on the finished body as is. Nice and simple, and they are fun to build as well.

Time for another “Super simple papercrafts” papercraft that everyone of you can make! This time I decided to make one of the cutest Korean characters there is (and recently even got a cartoon, didn't know that until I looked it up XD), it's "Molang"!!! And his adorable little sidecick "Piu Piu"!

 

Why did I decide to make Molang? Well I am a pretty big fan, have some official merch such as sticky notes, some small figurines and a super adorable lamp of him, so I was thinking about making him into a papercraft, but never found the time. But in such Corona-filled times I got plenty of time to work, since I can't do anything else, so I finally caught up and made it! And it's a perfect small bean-shape to make into a really simple papercraft template that all of you can make. 

Molang itself is unfolded to 18 cm height, so Piu Piu is about 8 cm-ish. The template has 5 pages you need to cut out. Both are made out of a 3D attached body, with simple forms, Molang has 3D sepparate hands and feet, which you assemble and just glue on at the end, as well as 2D ears, which you just glue on like that. Piu Piu has 2D hair for his head, wings and feet, so they are just cut out and glue on the main 3D body, easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy XD

Think it actually took me about 2 hours to make both of them (including cutting out and the whole assembly). So, YES, I dod assemble both and you'll also be able to see them built by me, probably posting it tomorrow as well.

Neko Musume (GeGeGe no Kitarou) papercraft

Neko Musume (GeGeGe no Kitarou) papercraft

New Week, new Monday and a new post of a papercraft I think you all will really love. I said I will post my “normal” papercrafts from time to time, not only my “Super simple papercrafts” series, since it would get boring with only those, and I love making life-like or more anime-like figurine papercrafts, since that is my passion XD I should have posted this a while back, since the series already ended, but better late than never, they say. So I present you the cutest and most awesome "Gegege no Kitarou" character from the latest re-made anime, here is my take on “Neko Musume”!

The papercraft, as you can see, is about 25 cm tall and has 5 pages to print. The papercraft is mostly made of an attached 3D model of my Neko Musume, which I modeled out of the anime.

I think I found the most optimal polygon count and form for a anime girl papercraft, as well as the finger count and all, since I don’t think it’s that hard to make compared to other crafts I made, so I will stick to this base for girls from now on I think, and if you have long hair or bangs, it’s super simple to make, since I can leave a hole on the back side of the head, which makes closing the head and assembly super simple, and the whole is not even visible from any angle like this. The hole in the back side of the head allows not only the assembly to be super simple, but also that the hair is more natural and flowy, and you don’t need to make the bangs and everything in 3D forms, since that is always a tedious job to do. So I will stick with this form from now on, already assembled some of my papercrafts with this form (which you will be able to see), and I have to say they are really easy and more fun to make like that. And they look exactly like in the anime as well :)

 

This papercraft particularly has the head closed, since she has her hair pinned up and that is her hairstyle, BUT you can make her easily because you have a skirt, so you make the upper part and the leg part and join it together in the waist, always allowing you to have an open end to assemble and glue the parts, that’s why I said that this particular model base for anime girls is so easy to use ;)

Apart from the joined 3D modeled body you also have some 2D 2-sided parts, such as her hairbow, the underskirt part (which you can use if you wish) the dress straps, the straps on her feet, etc. Average difficulty to make I think, much as any anime girl base, and it should stand if you glue the feet on the right angle in the hips, that’s why again this base is so sweet to use XD

I hope you like the papercraft, and that, if you don't know the anime already, are animated to see it, since it's really a nice and different anime to watch. The base mangas of Kitarou are really freaking old, and you have many different other anime adaptations as well, some I think over 60 years old, so there is much material to see if you like this type of anime and story.

King Tiger (Tiger Mask) papercraft

King Tiger (Tiger Mask) papercraft

Showing another papercraft commission that I am allowed to re-sell, form the same anime as the Black Tiger papercraft I already showed, this is "King Tiger". It is a character of an anime called "Tiger mask", that has an old version as well as a remake of the anime, as well as a popular old manga that started the series. Obviously, as you can see, it's a wrestling anime, so it's something totally different of my agenda that I normally make for myself, BUT I can make anything you want to ;)

   

The papercraft was designed based on the old style of the anime and of the old memorabilia figurines that the commissioner wanted to make into a papercraft, because the figurines are not avalable to buy anymore (so you see a lot of different causes can make you want to commisssion a papercraft). The character is called "Black tiger mask", obviously XD kinda rasist but I guess in the 90s you could still do that.

The papercraft itself is 35 cm tall and has 8 pages to print. All of the pieces are joined into a 3D papercraft model, so it should be clear from the PDF files what needs to go together. As you can see the mask of the Tiger is a tad smaller than other pieces, so that can take a while to make, but should be doable and it stands on his 2 feet as well. I would say it's about a 6/10 to make.
