Nene (Samurai Warriors) FREE papercraft

I know it's already Spooktober, but before I start posting the scary stuff, I got another freebie for you. So, time for another FREE papercraft download and what else could it be than another Samurai Warriors commission :) since I love making these and made them so long now, I can’t even imagine not doing these anymore XD And of course thanks to the commissioner who always pays for them and is then willing to share the design with all of you as well. This time I made Nene as you can see in the preview.

The papercraft is unfolded to 26 cm and has 8 pages to print. With this size she should be able to fit in with the other female Warriors I also did.

She has a 3D body with separate simple 3D blades that you can either put or glue in her hands, and some separate 2D accessory stuff (which you just glue on like that on the right spot) such as her pads on her shoulders, pads on her arms, belt, hair ornament, etc. She also has separate hair you build together and then glue on her head, since the base models always have such complicated hair to make. And of course, the 3D stand that is optional.

Hopefully we will get to see the papercraft made by the commissioner and I will be able to share the pictures then with you as well, so it will maybe prompt you to assemble it yourself then :)

You can download the papercraft here (along with all of my other FREE papercrafts):

Amabie papercraft commission

Today I am showing you a bit of a different papercraft commission I was making. And as you can see, it's a papercraft of a so-called »Amabie«. Amabies are youkai or legendary sea beings in Japanese folklore that are half Mermaid and half Kappa looking, I guess you could say. They have long beak-like faces and bright-colored scales on their body. They are apparently harbingers of either very good harvests or a great calamity, but as the commissioner says they are actually suppose to bring very good fortune and people use them to bring them good luck and protect them from evil.

The original design of the Amabie was designed by “Action Produce Company RE-act" (Twitter @ REact555) and my papercraft was made as a gift to them by the commissioner, so the picture you can see is the original drawing of the design I had to make into 3D. The picture is also colored by some kind of crayons probably, that is why the color of the reference picture has that effect, and I also did the same effect on the papercraft texture, so I think it looks 95% the same as in the picture.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to around 20 cm and has 11 pages to print. The size is very big, so it should be pretty easy to make, since I also made sure the design is as easy as it can be to assemble. The papercraft consists of a colored original Amabie and a draw-in black & white Amabie as well, since the commissioner wanted to have a variant where you can draw and color it yourself. She has 2D 2-sided hair out of the 3D head part, so the hair can be bent in a wavy pattern like in the original design, so she drags her long hair on the floor behind her.

Along with this papercraft I was also promised pictures of the finished original colored Amabie, so I will show you these when they are ready. And MAYBEEEEE I also have something planned for the draw-in black & white papercraft of all of my supporters/watchers as well…
In any case stay tuned for more infos of her, I hope you like it and happy crafting~

Sinistea (Pokemon Sw/Sh) papercraft commission

Since it’s the time of the year where we are preparing for Spooktober and the best seasons of the year (well, at least for those who love Halloween as much as I do…), I am showing you one of my papercrafts of a very cute ghost Pokemon…

As you can see from the picture, of course it’s Sinistea! It’s a cute little teacup ghost Pokemon from the new Sword & Shield Pokemon game, and a commission I have made.

The papercraft itself is about 7 cm tall, since it is a commission for an already made Polteageist papercraft and the commissioner wanted both to fit together size-wise. Since it is that small, it is really simply designed and easy to make. It consists of 4 pages to print the template. The craft has a 3D body with a 3D clip on the left side and a chip hole on the right side, where the 2D 2-sided arm needs to be glued on. The spillage on the left chip side is 2D and is just attached on it like that and has an optional double-sided part. Also, the bottom of the cup is left open, since it’s easiest to make it that way. It comes with both colors as you can see, normal and shiny.

Hopefully the commissioner will be able to assemble the papercraft soon, since I have been promised pictures of it when it gets finished, so I can’t wait for those so I can show it to all of you as well :)

***This is a paid commissioned papercraft. Commissioned crafts cannot be re-sold, with some exceptions. If you are interested in buying the template or have any other questions, please message me in private on DeviantArt or on my Facebook page.

I hope you like, hope to update it with pictures soon and it and happy crafting~

 UPDATE:

The most awesome commissioner (Val070) shared pictures with me and I think they did an awesome job :) They said that they are fairly new to papercrafts and that it was quite tricky for a beginner to make the edge of the teacup since it kept warping and all, but with a few tips of mine and a bit of patience, I think it came out really neatly done and I am very happy to have gotten these shared with me :) You can check out how the teacup looks with normal textures, build by the commissioner, here:

Atelier Ryza (Reisalin Stout) papercraft

Finally, after weeks of waiting for this to be uploaded so you can all see it in its most awesome glory, I am finally able to show you my most prized papercraft possession yet, “Reisalin "Ryza" Stout” from the awesome game series Atelier, more precisely “Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout” AND the continuation of the game, which will be released this December “Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy”!!!

(If you haven’t tried out the game yet, TRY IT NOW, it’s really something else and I love how special it is and how each of the characters is lovable in their own way! And the skins and the specials and the quests and the game mechanics etc. etc. etc.)

I have found out about papercraft about +10 years ago and started by assembling existing ones at first. After a while of getting used to building them, I decided to start designing and modeling them myself, and the rest is history. In my more than 5 years of professionally dealing and handling papercrafts, I have made some papercrafts that are most precious to me and on which I have spent days upon days of work to finalize them. My top 3 of them are:

    1.       https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Super-Sailor-Moon-built-papercraft-770504062

    2.       https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Hatsune-Miku-Snow-Princess-2019-papercraft-830987244

    3.       https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Cardcaptor-Sakura-Clear-card-papercraft-756221918

But this has now all changed, thanks to this work of art I made, Atelier Ryza. She is THE BEST papercraft I have made to date and countless hours of work have been spent on making it look the way it does. All worth it.

The TEXTURES ARE ALL 100% MINE, HAND PAINTED AND MADE TO FIT THE UV-MAPS I again made myself. 100% painted and made to resemble the exact Ryza character in the game. Probably 99% accurate. And a whooping 7 different UV-maps to make the 7 different textures, so I could fit in all the details. Painted in hours of work in my Gimp program and on my PC drawing pad. And let me tell you there is nothing easy to fit such lush textures on a very low-polyed and downsizes papercraft surface like this. Model and pose and staff, of course, also 100% mine.

The textures are undeniable the most crisp I have ever conjured up myself and a step up the ladder of my drawing/modeling/papercrafting skills I have refined time and time again during all my business times. So, I am a step further in my confidence on how to make papercrafts look amazing and I am very proud of my work.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 40 cm tall (12 pages of templates), since I wanted her really to stand out and be the amazing eyecatcher in the room it deserves to be when assembled.

It is made out of a 3D model of Ryza, that stands on her 2 feet (did a physics test, she stands 100%), with some extra separate add ons you make and glue on like that, such as:

    - Her 3D round flasks on the left side of her waist,
Her 2 2D belts with her petri dishes and small details on it,
Her 3D flash on her right leg with a 2D holster,
  - Her 3D bag on her left leg with a 2D belt to hold it in place,
A 2D necklace around her neck,

- Her 2D 2-sided tie on her hat,

And of course, the 3D staff with some 2D 2-sided features to make its assembly really simple.

Everything else, the hat, the hair, her detailed sleeves hanging down her arms, etc., are attached to the main 3D body and are assembled when making Ryza. All in all she has many small add-ons, which I think make the assembly super fun (since it’s like a kind of a dress-up game in some way to me XD ), and the main body is as simple as can be to make, apart from the smaller 3D fingers on her hands – again she is unfolded to 40 cm height with the staff, so the “small” parts are super manageable and for a humanoid papercraft very easy to make, since I made sure of that when putting the papercraft together.

In the future I will make sure to post more of these detailed papercrafts, as far as my time allows it, so you can enjoy the new quality of papercrafts I will make. It’s so rewarding at the end ;_; I love her SO MUCH. I can’t wait to assemble this baby when I got time!!!
