Sirfetch'd (Pokemon Sword) built papercraft

Time to hype some more Pokemon Sword & Shield papercrafts, as long as we are still waiting 26 days for the release :D So today I am showing you my Sirfetch'd papercraft I designed and built myself ;)

The papercraft consists of 3 separate 3D models, the Sirfetch'd Pokemon, the shield and his sword – the ultimate Sword & Shield Pokemon with both of them in his hands or more like wings or something XD

First, I made his shield. The shield I built from 4 separate tiers, 3 of which are 2-sided and after you built them, you just glue the 4 different tiers together at their edges and you get the little cute leek shield :D (btw the shield is the upper part of his leek sword, and the sword is the bottom part of it, if you didn’t guess it as first, now you know the design idea XD )

After that I made the 3D sword, with 2D leek leafs hanging from them to make it look nicer :D no real fiddly work involved in both of them, actually this craft is pretty easy to make, compared to the others I made.

And all that was left was the main Sirfetch'd body. The only maybe a bit more tedious parts to make are the small legs and the wings, but not as fiddly as if you had to make 5 fingers or such, so it’s not that time-consuming to make. The Sirfetch'd body I started with his beak and made my way to the wings (which I made separately first and glued them on the torso, once I had it build), then I made my way to the legs and finished at the back with his tail so seal it up. Just to be sure I filled his legs with sand (I really recommend it as a PRO-TIP for papercraft building, if you want to have something really simple and useful to weight down your craft, so it can stand well enough), since Sirfetch'd has to hold both the leek sword and shield in his wings, so it has to have some weight to be sure it won’t fall over. Else it still stands firmly on his feet, if you do not wish to weight it down or fill it with anything.

So, as you can see all 3 parts are separate and can be just put in his wings to hold them and they stand really nice :) so you can put them on and off as much as you want.

Hope you like it and happy crafting
