Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations online, so I got the inspiration to make a somewhat different Pokemon, Lopunny in its mega evolution form, into a humanoid papercraft. And here she is.
This is actually my first humanoid papercraft of a darker-skinned design and I really like it a lot. Not a whole lot of anime characters are actually really diverse, so not a lot of opportunities for a concept like that, but this fits Lopunny so damn well, I really love the way she looks. Hopefully I get some more opportunities to try a different design than my usual art to get even better at what I do ;)
The papercraft itself is unfolded to 24 cm with the long braids and the bow, so the model itself it probably 21 cm high. It consists of a 3D model of the humanoid Lopunny OC, as well as a lot of 2D puffs that are simply glued on to make the parts look all puffy and soft.
It also would need to be additionally weight-down with some weights added in the legs, because the 2 braids are quite top-heavy. Because of this and the smaller parts with the fingers, I suggest the papercraft template be made by experienced papercrafters only, since it’s probably a 6/10 to make on a assembly-difficulty scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest thing you can imagine putting together.
***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***
Hope you like her and happy crafting~
