Human Tsareena (Pokemon) papercraft

Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations, so I got the inspiration to make a somewhat different Pokemon, the grass type Tsareens into a human Pokemon papercraft or "gijinka" as they are called in Japanese. And here she is.

******************************************************

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 22 cm and has 5 pages to print out. It consists of a 3D model of the humanoid Tsareena OC, as well some add-ons that are simply glued on to make the parts look cute.

The model itself also has optional simpler 2D hands to make the assembly easy and fast, or the 3D option. The hair in the back is 2D 2-sided and is simply glued on the top of the head, so it’s also easy to make.

It also would need to be additionally weight-down with some weights added in the legs, because of the somewhat tilted leg pose, but nothing hard to do. Just put in some pebbles when you close the leg part and you are good to go, or even add in magnets in the shoes to make her stick to metal surfaces, if you feel like it.

Bunny monitor sitter built papercraft

As you maybe remember, I have made a series of »monitor sitter« animal papercrafts that are basically papercrafts you can make to put on your flatscreens and have them there for decoration or moral support, if you will.

They fit on any flatscreen on your PC screen, laptop, kindle, tablet, smartphone and even on vases, boxes or jars with slimmer rims, so you can decorate whatever you want with them. But basically, I made them to fit my laptop, so I could wedge them on my own PC :3

And since I have finally had the time to assemble them, here are the preview pictures on how they look like built and some tips for anybody wanting to make them for yourself.

********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Whatever animal you assemble from this series, they are basically made the same way: built from top to bottom.

Build the ears first, then the head, attach the front paws, the body, the 3D tail, the back legs and only after you have all of the body parts, take the inner clamp side, pre-bend it, put glue on the leftover flaps of the body, and slide & glue the clamp part inside the body and close it up that way.

That’s how I made all of my crafts you see and this is probably the simplest way to get this done and assembled.

***

NOTE: The papercraft includes all 3 colors shown. You have the brown, the white and the black colors that you can choose or build all 3 of them.

Bunny monitor sitter papercraft

Decided to make a series of so-called “monitor-sitter” papercraft toys. What this means is that they are basically figures that you can wedge on your laptop or PC screen and have them there for decoration or moral support, if you will.

Really simple yet effectively textured papercraft models of different animals, that are smaller in size and fit a slim PC screen. Alternatively, you can also put them on any book cover, on a glass, a box edge, on a pencil case, etc., to make your room a bit more cheerful and fun.

***********

This one is a bunny design that comes in 3 different designs/colors: white, brown and black. The template is 12 cm small and has 1 page to print for each color (and all 3 colors are included in the premium template, of course). The design of the craft itself is pretty simple, since it’s so small, and you got the blank PDO included for the assembly, so no worries about that.

Ayase Momo (DanDaDan) built papercraft

Already posted my Ayase papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Ayase-Momo-DanDaDan-papercraft-1110423784

And now it’s time to assemble her and give you some pro-tips on how to make life simpler for yourself when doing these. Let’s go.

**********************************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, you can divide the assembly into separate parts: the head with the hair, the 2 arms, the pink pullover with the sleeves, the skirt and the legs.

If we start with the head, you assemble the face and neck first. Then you glue on the front hair and lastly close it with the back hair. After this, you can glue on the 2D head parts.

Next you can separately build the 2 arms, with either the 2D or 3D hands (note that I did the preview pics with the 2D version of the hands). When you got those, set them aside and start gluing together the 2 pink sleeves and glue those together. When you have all these parts, start gluing on the pink pullover at the neck, and when you come to the sleeve parts, glue those on. When you have the whole pullover with the sleeves done, only then press the pre-made hands inside to glue them on the right angle. And the torso is done.

Next, you make the skirt part. The only part that needs pre-bending is the last skirt part, so put those folds in there to make it look nice a frilly and then glue the skirt together with the inner torso part.

Next step is to make the legs. You do this part by assembling the legs from bottom to top and finish with the buttocks part. This means, build the shoes first glue the leg from there upwards till you come to the butt.

And before anything, fill up the legs with some weights here, to make her really stand firmly (*Pro-tip: I always suggest smaller pebbles, since they are small enough to fit and heavy enough to help with the weight as well, without rupturing the paper itself).

All that is left is to do is to glue these parts now together. Glue the skirt inside the torso first and the glue on the legs part inside the skirt, making sure to glue them at the right angle, so the figure can stand nicely. And it's finished.

Mimi Palmon pajamas (Digimon) papercraft

Recently a new set of super cute Digimon figures came out with the chosen children of the very first Digimon season, in which each of them wears super cute pajamas of their Digimon partners. They are super adorable, and I decided to make my own take on the figures and actually making accurate pajamas of them in papercraft form. And here they are.

This is the design of Mimi in her Palmon pajamas.

*********************

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 26 cm and has 7 pages to print out. It consists of 3D version of Mimi in her Digimon pajamas. It has a 3D head with 2D hair parts, 2D 2-sided ears, a 3D body with 3D paws and feet, a 2D hood with 2D ears, her 2D hat, and a 2D 2-sided flower on her head.

For the assembly, you need to first assemble the hood and then the head, both separately. Once you have both, put the head inside the hood and glue those together with the flaps on the neck part of the body and only as the last part put together the body. Else the head cannot be put inside the hood, so the hood and head need to be assembled first.

*Note that I made only a few of the tamers and my own version of the Digimon pajama designs as well. I did not make the whole set of all 8 children, nor will I do the whole set of them, since I only wanted to make my fav ones I liked from the anime.

Also note that the ones I did make are all in relative height and fit together in size.

Hope you like the papercraft in any case.

Takeru Patamon pajamas (Digimon) papercraft

Recently a new set of super cute Digimon figures came out with the chosen children of the very first Digimon season, in which each of them wears super cute pajamas of their Digimon partners. They are super adorable, and I decided to make my own take on the figures and actually making accurate pajamas of them in papercraft form. And here they are.

This is the design of Takeru (T.K.) in his Patamon pajamas.

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 21 cm and has 4 pages to print out. It consists of 3D version of Takeru in his Digimon pajamas. It has a 3D head with 3D wing stands and 2D wings, 2D 2-sided ears, a 3D body with 3D paws, feet and a tail, a 2D hood, and a 2D 2-sided tail with 2D fur.

For the assembly, you need to first assemble the hood and then the head, both separately. Once you have both, put the head inside the hood and glue those together with the flaps on the neck part of the body and only as the last part put together the body. Else the head cannot be put inside the hood, so the hood and head need to be assembled first.

Also, the wings on the hood are made with 3D and 2D parts. Once you assemble the 3D wing stands, you then just glue on the 2D wings on there as is, without flaps or anything.

Turbo Babaa (DanDaDan) built papercraft

Already released the template of it:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Turbo-Babaa-DanDaDan-papercraft-1118115214

Now, the assembly :)

*********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

As with all of my papercrafts, you built it from top to bottom.

Start by making the 2 ears and then the 2 arms, legs and the tail separately.

Then, take the ears and start assembling the head till you reach the neck. Glue the red stripe on the head and then glue on both green bandanas inside the neck part and set aside.

Now, take the 2 arms and start assembling the body. When you make the whole body, just glue the legs and the tail part inside the body to make the build really simple.

In the end, glue on the body together with the head and glue on the 2D bell and sign. And it’s done and done :3

*NOTE: The papercraft template has 7 different facial expressions you can choose from, this is just 1 of them.

Mualani (Genshin Impact) papercraft

Not a fan of gacha games at all (I hate late-stage capitalism), but DAMN, this design blew my mind when it came out. She looks sooo cool and sooo gorgeous, and you really don’t get a lot of darker skinned characters in anime/games, so she is so precious I want to hold her and protect her and hug her and never let go ;_; my new Genshin waifu called “Mualani”!

*********************

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 26 cm and has 5 pages to print out. It consists of 3D version of Mualani with her various 2D and 3D add-ons.

The papercraft has an optional 3D or 2D versions of the hands. It looks complicated, but you have so many add-ons on here that its’s super easy.

You make the base naked body of her (nipples included and pants only) and then you just add all of the bracelets, bows, skirts and stuff. The hair is made with the 3D head and then just the base of the braids is 3D and then the rest of it is all 2D 2-sided and simple to glue on. Her maracas are also 3D as well as the little white seal bracelet, but it’s really easy to make, since I wanted all of the various items on her to be really simply designed.

The whole model is referenced off the official 3D model from the game, so all of the drawn details are from the game.

I did NOT include the weird ugly pink pufferfish on her back, because I hate it with all of my heart XD So, F it, the pufferfish is a grave mistake on her else flawless and adorable design! So, I fixed that small mistake in my papercraft :)
