Sora Biyomon pajamas (Digimon) papercraft

Recently a new set of super cute Digimon figures came out with the chosen children of the very first Digimon season, in which each of them wears super cute pajamas of their Digimon partners. They are super adorable, and I decided to make my own take on the figures and actually making accurate pajamas of them in papercraft form. And here they are.

This is the design of Sora in her Biyomon (Piyomon) pajamas.

*********************

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 21 cm and has 5 pages to print out. It consists of 3D version of Sora in her Digimon pajamas. It has a 3D head with 3D hair parts, 2D 2-sided ears, a 3D body with 3D paws and feet (with a 2D tail), and a 2D hood with 2D feathers and a 2D 2-sided crest.

For the assembly, you need to first assemble the hood and then the head, both separately. Once you have both, put the head inside the hood and glue those together with the flaps on the neck part of the body and only as the last part put together the body. Else the head cannot be put inside the hood, so the hood and head need to be assembled first.

*Note that I made only a few of the tamers and my own version of the Digimon pajama designs as well. I did not make the whole set of all 8 children, nor will I do the whole set of them, since I only wanted to make my fav ones I liked from the anime.

Also note that the ones I did make are all in relative height and fit together in size.

Hope you like the papercraft in any case. Enjoy and happy crafting~

Sam (Trick 'r Treat) low poly wall mount commission

Something special to share this time. I rarely make low poly papercrafts, but this one was for the special little character called Sam from the movie Trick 'r Treat. I really liked that movie and it stuck in my head, so I thought it would be a great tribute to the movie to make a wall mount of him for a commission, so why not.

***************

The papercraft is really simply made, all parts are low poly and colored in 1 color to resemble the low poly papercrafts. It is unfolded to 50 cm height and has 22 pages to print out. It is made out of a 3D head with 3D buttons for his eyes and a 3D torso with 1 arm sticking out with his sucker (that is a detachable 3D item) and the other arm tucked away. The backside is completely flat, so you can hang him on a wall. The papercraft is deliberately missing the seams for his mouth and the rope around his neck, because the commissioner wanted to make those parts with actual rope.

******************************

***This is a paid commissioned papercraft. Commissioned crafts cannot be re-sold, with some exceptions. If you are interested in buying the template or have any other questions, please message me in private on DeviantArt or on my Facebook page.

If you are interested in a paid commission, or have any questions regarding my commissions and the general process, you can read about those here:

I hope the commissioner shares some pictures when the wall mount will be finished, so we can see how cool it will look like assembled.

In the meantime, enjoy and happy crafting~

Bananya and Baby Sweet built papercraft

Already showed you my newest Bananya & Baby Sweet papercraft I made for the new mini-series and now here is the assembly along with building tips, so let's go-go!

*********************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

These bananyas are best built in 2 separate parts, the lower banana part and the upper cat part with the peels.

Start by making the banana bottom and glue that best from bottom to top, so you have the open top at the end to make it easier.

Set that aside and make the cat part. Best to make this is to build the 2 ears first, since they are the smallest parts, and then glue on the head around the 2 ears to the belly part. There, you glue on the simple 2D 2-sided banana peels on the inside of the cat body.

Since you have the 2 parts, you just put glue on the flaps of the banana bottom you made and slide that inside the cat body at the right angle and let the glue set. And at the end, you can add the 2D paws and the star on.

You also have the optional 2 stands for them you can also assemble to put them inside, and it doesn’t need any extra weight inside to hold, but I still suggest putting some inside when you close the stand, just to make it hold the big bananya better.

And that’s about it. A pretty simple craft and both of them are made the same way. The only small part are the little cat ears, so take time doing those and you are good to go.

CatBurger (Simple version) OC built papercraft

Already released my template of the so-called Super Simple CatBurger build-your-own-burger papercraft:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/CatBurger-Simple-version-OC-papercraft-1095152087

and now I assembled it so you can see the preview pics of it as well :)

*********************************************************

So, what is this all about? As the name “Super simple papercrafts” suggests, it is a project of really simple papercrafts I make. Since I saw that many people are somewhat intimidated by my intricate designs and overall papercraft really, I wanted to show that it’s not the case and that I wanted to make an effort to make papercrafts available really for any kind of papercrafter, be it beginner, advanced or pro. I decided to address the issue and show that anybody can make papercrafts and therefore designed some fun crafts that REALLY ANYBODY CAN MAKE, super simple and really fast. But most of all, fun!

These papercrafts are simple in design regarding how many pieces there are, they are unfolded a bit bigger to make it simpler to assemble them, they have more detached (2D) pieces that you just make and glue on, and still look super sweet and adorable so anybody will want to make them.

You can find all of the “Simple Papercrafts” I designed in my folder:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/gallery/75506959/simple-papercrafts

*******************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Most parts are 2D anyway, so the other 3D parts, like the patty, the cucumbers, are really made the same way: take one side of the craft, glue the belt part with the flaps on the flat 2D side and then simply close it with the other flap part by putting glue on the left flaps. You basically glue it together like a box.

For the 2 buns for CatBurger, the upper head part you start by making the 2 ears and built it from top to bottom and at the end, you close it with the grilled bottom part. The bottom bun part you make by first gluing the bottom grill part to the first stripe and at the end you close it with the flat part. And you glue on the 2D 2-sided tail on last.

*********************************************************

All of the parts are OPTIONAL and you can choose whatever ones to make your own CatBurger papercraft. And you can re-print them out to make even more, if you like.

Also, all of the 3D optional ingredients can be simply turned into 2D flat parts, by cutting away the middle stripe part, if you choose to make your burger even simpler.

The only real challenge to make here is to choose what ingredients to use in this. And if you can’t choose, why not make 2 or 3 different versions of it, each with different parts inside :)
