Anya (Spy x Family) built papercraft

When I posted this template, I did promise to make a preview assembly myself, since I really like the anime. And here it is now, the adorable »Anya Forger« from the amazing anime »Spy x Family«.

       

The papercraft itself is a pretty basic humanoid papercraft, as I normally do all of them. So, best way to start the assembly is with the head. Build the face with the neck (+ collar) part first, and make the front bangs, then make your way to the back of the head and finish with the last upper head piece to close it. – Everything is visible from the PDO file you get along the files when you purchase it, so no worries.

Next, make both arms and hands separately, and then make the dress separately. When you have the whole dress, glue on the head and then the arms at the right angle. Super easy to make this way.

And all the is left to do is the legs. Built those separately, starting with the shoes. Then you have a black piece (no worries, as said, everything is visible in the PDO instructions) that you need to glue inside the dress at the hips, to make the legs stand in the right place. Glue that inside, and then glue the legs on that at the right angle to make it stand, and there you go. All finished.

Additionally, before gluing the legs on the inside part of the hips, do fill those out with small weights. The legs are very small, so making her stand without weights is pretty difficult. Definitely recommend additional smaller pebbles inside the legs to make her stand.

***Note: The template itself has 2-sided pages to print for the hair, so the inside of the hair is also pink in the original. I didn’t print out the 2-sided hair pieces, so the pictures show the white color of the hair.

Ohto Ai (Wonder Egg Priority) papercraft

A loooong, loooong overdue papercraft template of the amazing »Wonder Egg Priority« anime that was shown last season. Wanted to post it sooner, but I just didn’t have the time to finish it at a preferable time. The main protagonist is “Ohto Ai” which is a word-play name for her “odd-eyes” that have 2 different colors aka heterochromia. It’s a really special anime, reminding me of Madoka Magica, since it has a unique, deep meaning and also deals with the “Mahou shoujo” magical girl thematic. 

          

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 24 cm and consists of 5 pages to print. It consists of a 3D model of Ohto Ai, as well as her add-on purse and some details in the hair. The critical points would be the hair (but it has an invisible hole in the back, so the hair part is simpler to assemble that way) and the small fiddly fingers. Else, it can be divided into at least 3 separate builds that you can glue together in the end, so that makes is very manageable and easy to make (more tips to follow in the assembly release of Ai).

Antinomy (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) papercraft commission

Another papercraft commission I can share, and this time it’s “Antinomy” as Bruno is later known in the series :)

          

A pretty straightforward papercraft actually, consisting of a whole 3D model of Antinomy, his cool 2D shades (that the commissioner will do with red see-through foil or something in the like, to make it look super sweet – can’t wait XD), and some 2D add-ons such as the plates on his boots, his armor plates on the arms etc., as well as a separate 3D stand.

It’s unfolded to 39 cm and has 10 pages to print. The head is quite difficult, such as all those Yu-Gi-Oh papercraft commissions, since the anime hair is spike-crazy designed :D
