Sharing another commission. This time it's from the amazing stop-animated cartoon »Coraline«. Love the movie and was therefore super excited to be able to make the character. Of course, I am talking about “Beldam”, or more commonly known as the “Other Mother”. Ohhhhh yeah, (for those who didn’t watch the movie) as the name suggest, she is super creepy and intense XD
The Other Mother papercraft is unfolded to 40 cm, as the commissioner wanted, and is posed from a common picture reference of the used stop-motion model from the movie. Including all the details, and the roster over glove XD love that thing – it’s made as a separate piece and can be taken on and off, so it’s a super cute detail I really like.
The papercraft itself is, of course as always, entirely made by me. Except for the realistic clothing textures, everything is drawn and modeled by me, myself and I.
I did request the assembly pictures of the Other Mother craft when it’s done, so I can’t wait to get those and share them with everybody. She is gonna look sickkk :)
