Cat monitor sitter built papercraft

As you maybe remember, I have made a series of »monitor sitter« animal papercrafts that are basically papercrafts you can make to put on your flatscreens and have them there for decoration or moral support, if you will:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Cat-monitor-sitter-papercraft-954819755

They fit on any flatscreen on your PC screen, laptop, kindle, tablet, smartphone and even on vases, boxes or jars with slimmer rims, so you can decorate whatever you want with them. But basically, I made them to fit my laptop, so I could wedge them on my own PC :3

And since I have finally had the time to assemble them, here are the preview pictures on how they look like built and some tips for anybody wanting to make them for yourself.

********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Whatever animal you assemble from this series, they are basically made the same way: built from top to bottom.

Build the ears first, then the head, attach the front paws, the body, the 3D tail, the back legs and only after you have all of the body parts, take the inner clamp side, pre-bend it, put glue on the leftover flaps of the body, and slide & glue the clamp part inside the body and close it up that way.

That’s how I made all of my crafts you see and this is probably the simplest way to get this done and assembled.

***

NOTE: The preview pictures made only include 2 of the 3 colors that are included in the pack. You have the brown, the white and the black colors that you can choose or build all 3 of them.

Bananya and Baby Sweet built papercraft

Already showed you my newest Bananya & Baby Sweet papercraft I made for the new mini-series and now here is the assembly along with building tips, so let's go-go!

*********************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

These bananyas are best built in 2 separate parts, the lower banana part and the upper cat part with the peels.

Start by making the banana bottom and glue that best from bottom to top, so you have the open top at the end to make it easier.

Set that aside and make the cat part. Best to make this is to build the 2 ears first, since they are the smallest parts, and then glue on the head around the 2 ears to the belly part. There, you glue on the simple 2D 2-sided banana peels on the inside of the cat body.

Since you have the 2 parts, you just put glue on the flaps of the banana bottom you made and slide that inside the cat body at the right angle and let the glue set. And at the end, you can add the 2D paws and the star on.

You also have the optional 2 stands for them you can also assemble to put them inside, and it doesn’t need any extra weight inside to hold, but I still suggest putting some inside when you close the stand, just to make it hold the big bananya better.

And that’s about it. A pretty simple craft and both of them are made the same way. The only small part are the little cat ears, so take time doing those and you are good to go.

CatBurger (Simple version) OC built papercraft

Already released my template of the so-called Super Simple CatBurger build-your-own-burger papercraft:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/CatBurger-Simple-version-OC-papercraft-1095152087

and now I assembled it so you can see the preview pics of it as well :)

*********************************************************

So, what is this all about? As the name “Super simple papercrafts” suggests, it is a project of really simple papercrafts I make. Since I saw that many people are somewhat intimidated by my intricate designs and overall papercraft really, I wanted to show that it’s not the case and that I wanted to make an effort to make papercrafts available really for any kind of papercrafter, be it beginner, advanced or pro. I decided to address the issue and show that anybody can make papercrafts and therefore designed some fun crafts that REALLY ANYBODY CAN MAKE, super simple and really fast. But most of all, fun!

These papercrafts are simple in design regarding how many pieces there are, they are unfolded a bit bigger to make it simpler to assemble them, they have more detached (2D) pieces that you just make and glue on, and still look super sweet and adorable so anybody will want to make them.

You can find all of the “Simple Papercrafts” I designed in my folder:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/gallery/75506959/simple-papercrafts

*******************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Most parts are 2D anyway, so the other 3D parts, like the patty, the cucumbers, are really made the same way: take one side of the craft, glue the belt part with the flaps on the flat 2D side and then simply close it with the other flap part by putting glue on the left flaps. You basically glue it together like a box.

For the 2 buns for CatBurger, the upper head part you start by making the 2 ears and built it from top to bottom and at the end, you close it with the grilled bottom part. The bottom bun part you make by first gluing the bottom grill part to the first stripe and at the end you close it with the flat part. And you glue on the 2D 2-sided tail on last.

*********************************************************

All of the parts are OPTIONAL and you can choose whatever ones to make your own CatBurger papercraft. And you can re-print them out to make even more, if you like.

Also, all of the 3D optional ingredients can be simply turned into 2D flat parts, by cutting away the middle stripe part, if you choose to make your burger even simpler.

The only real challenge to make here is to choose what ingredients to use in this. And if you can’t choose, why not make 2 or 3 different versions of it, each with different parts inside :)

Bananya and Baby Sweet papercraft

As you maybe know, waaay back I released the first few Bananya characters from the anime as simple crafts I made to assemble for FREE:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Bananya-Bananya-built-papercraft-849359505

But because they are simple versions and stuff I made waaaay back, I decided to make a new version of Bananya and her new friend, since a new short anime came out. I wanted it to look more like the original now and making it a bit more complicated and detailed than the simple version, and here are the little cuties :3

******************

The papercraft is unfolded to 20 cm (including the stands) and has 5 pages to print. The craft includes both Bananya and his new fairy friend called “Baby Sweet”, which is a little baby bananya version. The Bananya papercraft is about 19 cm tall and the Baby Sweet one about 9 cm tall.

Both papercraft are pretty simple to make and the flaps of the banana are 2-sided and 2D, so you glue the flaps on the upper cat body first, and then glue on the bottom banana parts next. The paws and her star are also flat parts that you glue on just as is.

Since it is that shape, I did include 2 stands for both of them, so you can either use the stand to put them inside (which also need weights inside to hold the bananyas in place), or you can tie them to some wire or twine to hang them from your celling or shelves to make it look even better.

CatBurger (Simple version) OC papercraft

Saw a challenge thing on DA about how to draw a Burger that looks like a cat, and got the idea to make my own version of “CatBurger – build your own burger papercraft” and in a SUPER SIMPLE VERSION :)

******************************************************************************

So, what is this all about? As the name “Super simple papercrafts” suggests, it is a project of really simple papercrafts I make. Since I saw that many people are somewhat intimidated by my intricate designs and overall papercraft really, I wanted to show that it’s not the case and that I wanted to make an effort to make papercrafts available really for any kind of papercrafter, be it beginner, advanced or pro. *******************************

This papercraft is unfolded to a height of 24 cm and has 5 pages to print out with all of the optional parts. The burger itself should be anywhere from 5 to 12 cm high, depending on what ingredients you want to use for your very own CatBurger.

It consists of:

-          2 simple 3D buns (the upper one also having 3D cat ears) with 2D paws and a 2D 2-sided tail,

-          6 2D onions,

-          3 3D tomato slices,

-          a simple 3D sunny-side-up egg,

-          3 2D bacon slices,

-          ketchup,

-          4 3D pickle slices,

-          2 2D cheese slices,

-          2 3D grilled patties,

-          2 2D salads,

-          and a either 2D 2-sided flag or a 2D 2-sided pickled olive as the topper.

All of the parts are OPTIONAL and you can choose whatever ones to make your own CatBurger papercraft. And you can re-print them out to make even more, if you like.

Black hoodie cat OC papercraft

Saw some really cool graffiti art online, so I decided to make an actual graffiti papercraft out of. And out came this “Black hoodie cat” OC I made as a maybe alter-ego of myself with a really cool yet simple 2D graffiti spray-art back alley wall diorama.

OC (original characters) are always so much fun to make, since you can make literally anything you can think of, but at the same time really scary, because you can do anything you can think of XD Mostly I do these only when I get a really nice, refined idea that I hold onto for a few days and I still like after a few weeks, else I would have to spam the internet full of OC crafts all the time and I have to hold back XD

*********************

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 24 cm and has 10 pages to print. The 2D wall diorama itself is 24 cm tall, so the cat would be about 18-ish cm. It comes with a 3D black hoodie cat and an optional: 2D back alley graffiti diorama, 6 x 3D spray cans of paint, 2 simple 2D trash cans and a simple 3D lamp.

Since it is very colorful, I did the preview with the 3D cat and the items, as well as just the 2D wall separately, so you can see what the template includes and how the details look like.

Just a simple OC (original character) I made up, not referencing any anime, game or anything like that. Just a concept of art.

Hope you like the black cat artist, enjoy and happy crafting~

Niko (Oneshot) FREE built papercraft

Already posted this really loooong overdue papercraft of an amazing game that came out years ago:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Niko-Oneshot-papercraft-980844960

And now that I have assembled him, I can also post some assembly tips along the way, so listen up closely.

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

We can divide this papercraft into 5 parts: the head with the hat, the body with the brown dress, his wavy 2D scarf parts, the legs and his bulb prop.

So, start by making the 2 ears and the hat, and make your way down to glue together the whole head on there, part by part. When you have the hat done, glue the 4 parts for the hair on FIRST and then start to assemble the head/face after, so the flaps are hidden inside the hat. Once that is done, you can also make the scarf neck part and put aside.

Next, we can make the 2D, 2-sided wavy scarf parts. *Pro tip: You can use some wire you glue on the inside of both scarf ends to make it wavier and sturdier as well and glue the end side on the scarf. When you do this, glue the wire parts that are sticking out of the scarf on the scarf neck and make sure to firmly glue them on the inside with some strong duct tape, so it holds well.

Then, you can start by making the 2 arm sleeves separately and join them with the first upper dress part. Once you have that, glue on the dress part on the pre-made head part with the scarf and glue on the last part of the dress and we are almost done.

Last thing you need to do is to make the legs. Build those best from bottom to top. And when you have the legs, put on some weights inside to make the craft stand better. *Pro-tip: I always use small pebbles, since they are small yet heavy enough to make anything stand and fit into every nook and cranny. And when you got that, simply glue the leg part with the remaining flaps on the inside of the torso and make sure to align the angle of it so it can stand without any help.

Last thing is to make the simple, round bulb and you can glue that on the belly to make it hold nice or, as I did, use some see-through tape and glue it on the belly to make it hold. You want to know what the bulb is and what he needs it for? Well, better play the game to find out more :D

And there you go. My Niko papercraft is done and ready to be displayed anywhere you want.

Niko (Oneshot) FREE papercraft

A really loooong overdue papercraft of an amazing game that came out years ago. It's called OneShot and it's a suprising amazing, deep and intruiging, cute pixelated adventure game that everybody should know. And of course, the main character from the game is called Niko, and is a cute little Cat.

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

The template is 18 cm tall and has 4 pages to print. It consists of a simple 3D model of the cat Niko, a 2D, 2-sided scarf and a simple, separated 3D bulb that is the main prop of the game. It's really easy to make, since the only small parts are the 2D hair parts and no fingers or hands, just long sleeves. And it should also stand with no problem, you should just reinforce the scarf with some wire inside, so it looks flowy and holds on his neck and that's about it. I would therefore give it a 5/10 on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult thing you can imagine making.

:bulletpurple: :bulletpurple: :bulletpurple: :bulletpurple: :bulletpurple: :bulletpurple: :bulletpurple:

You want to know what the bulb is and what he needs it for? Well, better play the game to find out more :D
