Sasori: Hiruko form - Akatsuki (Naruto) papercraft

Time to continue my huge Akatsuki papercraft commission. And since I already released Sasori's original form, I decided to upload his favourite puppet form named Hiruko!

*Even connected by blood ties as we are, I won't feel a thing if Grandma Chiyo here dies. My heart... is just like this body. Of all the hundreds and thousands I've killed so far, she's just another one of them. It's that simple.*

 

The commisson of Sasori's puppet form Hiruko is 35 cm tall, from toes till head. It consits of 12 PDF pages to print. He has an attached 3D body, with added 2-sided robes for a better overall view at the end, so he has collors on both sides. And the most important part of this creepy puppet, his scoripon-tail-like weapon (which is directly translated into Sasori: scorpion) ;)

Overall the Akatsuki papercraft commission consists of 22 different papercrafts/characters, so there are many more to come. Each of them was made as a commission, so the figures and the style is made as the commissioner wanted it to be. Hope you will like it ;)

The commission project was HUUGGGE and is to date my biggest crafting project yet. I took a long time to make them and I made each one indivudually so I hope it shows and that you'll be happy with them as I am myself with my work. Pretty proud here of what I did :)

He has an attached 3D body, with added 2-sided robes for a better overall view at the end, so he has collors on both sides. Also I added his Akatsuki membership ring in 2D for his hand. And a very spcific pose with the stratched arm as the commissioner wanted, since he is the puppet master and pulls all the strings ;)

The commisson of Kakuzu is 40cm tall, from toes till head. It consits of 12 PDF pages to print. He has an attached 3D body, with his 3D sepparately built money suitcase and with added 2-sided robes for a better overall view at the end, so he has collors on both sides. Also I added his Akatsuki membership ring in 2D for his hand.

Dark Precure (Heartcatch Pretty Cure!) papercraft

Ok, ok pleople this one is huge. I had to stop the current papercraft project to bring you something I had the pleasure making during my week-off and I kept it a secret for so long I HAVE TO POST THIS NOW or I am going to explode. I need to share this with all of you beautiful people. So listen up. 

 "DARK PRECURE!!!! 

My favorite character out of all the Precure series. Although she is not a "real" precure, but an experiment in the series of "Heartcatch Precure" and the sister of Cure Moolight she is a tragic character with such a beautiful, sad soul and destiny, that you have to cry when seeing her final cuts (and death) in the anime. Love her to death - out intended?. Not to mention the freaking amazing design with the dark, and the asymetrical wings and 2 different eyes, !!!perfection!!! at it's best. Exactly my kind of estethics brought to point.

If you do not know here, look her up people, you are missing Precure history in the making. Heartcatch was my favourite "animated" series out of all of them (2. fav. series of all), since the same studio made them than one of my other favourite anime "Casshern sins". The animation is perfection pure, and just because of this, Heartcatch is my 2. favourite Precure series. 

Probably "Fresh Precure" is m fav, beause the series had the first plot-twist of the bad guy becoming the good guy or in this sense girl, since she became a Precure later on. Plus you have Cure Pine, which is yellow and can speak with animals, plus they can teleport XD But I hate the baby part, but that's another thing. 

Anyway, I want to make this beauty mine, and I will have to make a papercraft out of her sooner or later;) H-a-v-e   t-o- definely."

And because Antyyy is always a woman of her word, so THERE YOU HAVE HER. The one and only beautiful perfecion in one,

 Dark Pretty Cure!  

I took me almost a year from this post to make, since I am so busy with commissions and work that I barely can do any papercrafts I want to do for myself. But this one definetly is and I have fallen in love with her. 

The tradgedy of her character, her life and death, the color sheme, the pose, the asymetry, the symbolysm, pure dark perfection.

And I wanted to showcase just that in my own papercraft. 

Moving on to the papercraft itself, it is about 35 cm tall (with stand). Wanted to make her big but not too big. She has a 3D body with a sepparate 3D magic stick of hers, a 3D bow at the back, her 2D dark demon-like wing (which you will definetly have to put together with wire in it to make it stand), a 3D stand for her and some overall 2D two-sided parts to really make it shine.

I put special care into making the texture really stand out and pop out. I really wanted to pay tribute to her character, since I love her so much XD and I have always had her 3D PVC figma figure from Japan on my desk, reminding me that I definetly have to do this in paper form as well :D

I definetly have to built this little cutie, again when I have the time, meanwhile I would love any of you to build her and show me some pics of her later on!

Time to continue my huge Akatsuki papercraft commission, time for the first partner of Itachi and the first owner of the Samehada sword (which was then replaced and inhredited by Kisame XD), Biwa Juuzo. I think he was actually in the anime for only 1 episode before he was killed? XD and before being replaced by Kisame, but non-the-less he was a member of the Akatsuki ;)

*I am just gonna drop dead, right here, where I am from...*

The commisson of Kisame is 42cm tall, from sole till sword tip. It consits of 15 PDF pages to print. He has an attached 3D body, with an 3D sepparately built sword, which you can attach on his body via the 2D belt, and with added 2-sided robes for a better overall view at the end, so he has collors on both sides. Also I added his Akatsuki membership ring in 2D for his hand.

Hilda and Twig papercraft

Hilda and Twig papercraft

Continuing my quiz I posted this week, there isn't really much to wait anymore, since 2 min after I posted the quiz of "Guess the character" it was already guessed correctly as the characters of the Netflix series "Hilda", the main character "Hilda" and her deerfox "Twig" :) Also I am super excited to post this because I really do love it XD

Anyway I really loved this cute little series and I have fallen in love with Hilda, since she is so super sweet and nice and I really admire her. If you don't know the series, do look it up. It has 13 episodes, season 2 will premier in 2020 (CAN'T WAITTTTT), and it's just so cute to watch. You can just relax and kick back, and you may even learn a thing or two ;) 

     

The papercraft itself, as you can see, consist of 2 sepparate 3D crafts, Hilda and Twig, but in the same file. Both are pretty straightforward to make. Hilda has a 2D scarf with a 2D inner side of her skirt, as well as a sepparate 3D hat. Twig has some 2D 2-sided fur details as well as 2D 2-sided antlers to make the built easy. The overall height of the craft is 22 cm, Hilda being 22 cm, Twig about 10 cm.

Ponyo (girl form) papercraft

Ponyo (girl form) papercraft

Since it is almost time for me to start work again (yeah I took 1 week of for myself this week) I decided to blast it of in a positive way. One of my freinds suggested that I made a Ghibli papercraft of Ponyo, since he said it was popular and some people wanted it in a forum or site he was on or whatever, so I then decided to make this little cutie myself.

    

I know that these Japanese types of papercrafts can be really hard to get, especially the heavy branded ones (I saw a pattern of Ponyo way back but all the papercrafts were non-shared and can't be found anywhere), and almost nobody shares the patterns online since it is mostly Japan stuff only, and you can barely get your hand on them, and Japanese people don't share anything like that. So it's my mission to make these myself, since when I started I really wanted to have them since there were so adorable, but nobody would have them or is willing to share them. So there you go!

 

Those who know me, know I love Ghibli studios, I actually went to Japan last year and visited the Ghibli museum again and I freaking love it so much XD 

    

The papercraft itself is 17 cm tall and has 4 pages to print. It consists of a 3D body, with some added 2-sided pieces as the skirt and hair, as well as a simple 3D bucket for her hand. The hard is supposed to be wooshy and wild just like Ponyo herself XD also it is just built and attached to her head to make it simple. She also has some details with the sleeve and neck.
