Now for some simple assembly instructions to go along all the files!
ASSEMBLY TIPS:
The papercraft has 6 pages to print out, and consists of a 3D Nezuko model with some ad-ons, 6 3D breads that make up for her bamboo mouthpiece in the original anime and a 2D school bag for the bread to go in (or something else you find, as long as it’s not too heavy to tip it over).
So, in general, you can divide the assembly into: Nezuko’s head with the hair, neck and sailor uniform scarf, her torso with the arms, her 2 hands, the sailor uniform dress, her bottom with the legs, the 6 optional loafs of bread and the school bag, which can all be assembled separately and then glued together to make it really easy for everybody to make.
Start by making the face with the neck part first. Then glue on the first front hair part with the optional 2-sided parts. Then glue on the head by making the upper part first, and then add the 2-sided hair strains by gluing each separately on there. Since the head has an invisible hole at the beck, it should be really easy to close the head with the hairs. When you have the base head, glue on the remaining parts of the black scarf around her neck, including the green scarf as well.
When you have that, start by making the torso part with the 2 arms. Make the 2 arms separate, and then glue them on the torso when you have them, to make it easier. And then make the separate hands as well, and glue them on when they are done at the right angle. Super simple to make that way, and you just need to adjust the angle at the end.
When this is done, move on to the dress part. *Pro-tip: Normally I do not fold any parts of the template to make it look as smooth as possible and seamless. However, the dress is really frilly, like most Japanese sailor uniforms have, so I do suggest pre-bending the parts to those before you glue them on, so the dress retain the shape it needs to have.
When you have the dresses, glue it on the torso part on the inside and make sure to tip it a bit to the left side, so she has that adorable bent pose. Then move on to the legs that you glue together with the shoes, and before doing anything with them, put inside some weights inside the legs to make it stand firmly. *Pro-tip 2: I always use small pebbles as weights inside trickier papercrafts that maybe need to stand on 1 or 2 legs. The smaller pebbles are small enough to fit inside these and weigh enough to make the craft stand firmly at the end.
When you have these last parts left, all you do is to glue the leg parts on the rest of the body, adjust it at the right angle so it stands, and leave to dry. Next, move on to make the school bag and the 6 loafs of bread, and you can then either put them inside the bag and glue the bag on the hands and 1 loaf on her mouth, or you leave those out.
Add the remaining 2D ad-on on, like the ears and the pink bow, and the cutie is done :)
