Sebastian (Kuroshitsuji - Black Butler) papercraft

People. It has been too long. To damn freaking long, I know. I mean, who doesn't know the legendary anime »Kuroshitsuji« or »Black Butler«. You got quite some papercrafts to choose of Ciel out there, but the true main character of the anime, »Sebastian Michaelis« the black demon butler from hell, where is a craft of him?!??! I didn't see any being made all this time the anime came out. SO, IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THAT! May I present to you, finally, my own papercraft made of Sebastian. It’s never too late people XD

The papercraft itself is made by me, of course, 3D model, pose and texture (as always, 100% made by ME). It is unfolded to 30 cm height, since I wanted Sebastian to be really big and the center piece for anybody assembling him. The template consists of 7 pages to print out.

All in all, it’s a rather complicated papercraft to assemble, a lot of smaller pieces for the hands and the hair, so definitely nothing for beginners to make, and nobody that isn’t confident in their papercraft assembly skills.

The kuroshitsuji papercraft is made out of a joined 3D model of Sebastian, with the end part of the hair having a hole in it (in the head), for simpler assembly and to simply close off the head. The hole is of course not visible at the end. Some parts of the hair are in 2D and 2-sided, others are in 3D for a better effect. Apart from that, you also got some smaller 2D parts to just put on, as are his chains in the pocket and his crest on the jacket. And of course he is in his typical bowed down pose as he always is when taking orders from Ciel and saying “Yes, my Lord.” :}

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

I hope you love him as much as I do and that I get some time on my hands to assemble him as well. I am a huge fan of the anime so I was really excited to make this, and I also hope we get some new material in any way as well XD Enjoy and as always: Yes, my Lord! and happy crafting~

Avocado pair built papercraft

I already showed the “Avocado pair” papercraft template and promised to build it as well, so here is the preview and some tips for the assembly :)

The assembly is actually pretty straightforward. You have 5 different faces to choose for each half od the avocado, so when you choose the one you wanted, start with that.

Each of the halves has either the hole or the seed to make first on the front part, so start with that, making sure it's neatly done. Start at the upper part, glue each piece on the face part (on the back side paper of the face part), and at the end close it with the final piece. The hardest part of the assembly is this, so take your time and take it slow ;)

After this, it is actually best to glue each back part of the green peel on the front face part, piece by piece (and not to make the back green peel part first and then glue on the whole face, although it may look easier), because if you do it piece by piece and gluing it on the face part you get a much smoother and accurate assembly with no white edges sticking out or anything like that. So just do it piece by piece, making sure to glue it neatly on and at the end close it with the bottom flat part.

And at the end all that is left to do are the 2-sided 2D hands that are glued on any position you would like. As a tip, you can glue one pair of the hands on one end, and then make sure to glue the other pair for the second one a bit higher or a bit lower – that way the hands intelock when you put them together as a whole avocado and it looks like they are hugging :)

The papercraft template I posted can be found here (in case you need to see how the template looks like)

Avocado pair papercraft

Avocado pair papercraft

Wanted to make a random cute papercraft for some time now, so I decided to make an avocado, since they are really popular for earrings, necklaces etc. and they always look super adorable XD So I made my version of an avocado papercraft.

The craft itself has 6 pages to print and consists of 2 3D avocado halves and 2-sided 2D arms (that are just glued on like that – optional). Each of the halves has 5 different faces to choose from (all in all 10 different expressions), so you can decide what mood your avocado will have XD One halve has the 3D seed in it, and the other one a 3D hole – so when you press both together, they fit perfectly and you get a whole avocado vegetable XD now isn’t that cute?

The bottom is flat, so the craft stands as is, without any additional weights inside. It’s actually really simple to make, yet really effective in the overall look, at least as I see it.

Aditionally to the sale, I mean to upload these as downloads for my Patreon supporters so they can get them there as well ~ :) You can view all of them here:

I hope you like my little derpy ‘cados and that they spread their love to you through the screen of your phone or PC, wherever you are viewing them from <3

Sadao Maou (Hataraku Maou-sama!) papercraft

Don’t know if you people know this about my pages and sites, but I always preach for people on any of my social media sites to send/share/write suggestions or things you would like to see me make or change or whatever to make my pages more user-friendly and to create content that people want to actually see. And it so happens that I got a suggestion of this next character I made, since actually 2 different persons suggested this and were really, really hyped about the release of a new season of the anime XD I can’t always do 100% things people suggest because of work-related issues and no time, but I try me best in any case! So your critique is always heard and I try to integrate constructive feedback and changes all the time, one post at a time.

In any case, if you don’t know, the beloved hyped anime “Hataraku Maou-sama!” or in English “The devil is a part-timer!” is getting a new season! Don’t know yet when, but it’s definitely happening. And since I also loved the anime and people are really excited about this, I wanted to make a papercraft of the main character of the anime, the devil himself, “Sadao Maou” in his typical “MgRonald” (copyright issues XDDD) clothes and with his Maou devil-cape.

The papercraft is unfolded to 22 cm and has 6 pages to print. It consists of a whole 3D model of Maou, a separate cape with the pointy shoulders that is just glued on his shoulders (and can be optional) and his MgRonald visor, which is also separate (and optional). The hair also has 2 layers, so it’s more hair-looking and has the shape of his head and is just glued in between the parts. Also, the back layer part of the hair, or the head, has a hole at the back, to make the head part really simple to make, and the hole is of course not visible when assembled at all.

Along with that, I have updated the template itself to be easier to use, marking the parts that need to go together on the PDF parts themselves and commenting on parts of the template. So the bought templates come not only with the edge ID PDF files to see how to assemble them, but also with written notes and tips on what parts go together, written besides the relevant parts in the templates. Even simpler assembly, and a simple 3D chibi pattern for easy gluing together.

ALL THAT meaning that the papercraft is actually pretty easy to make. Apart from the fiddly 5 fingers on each hand, it should be pretty straightforward to make, and it can be built in separate parts and glued together at the end. I would say it’s a 5/10.

I hope you are also hyped for the new anime season as my 2 fans that wrote me about making this XD Enjoy and happy crafting~

Sailor Moon Transformation papercraft

Since I have a bit of a history with Sailor Moon, and this was one of my first anime in my childhood I was genuinely obsessed with, I had to do another take on a Sailor Moon papercraft. But not just any old papercraft…

I thought deep and hard about what made Sailor Moon special to me, and figured out that I was always waiting for those amazing transformation poses and animation. Those beautiful slender bodies, the elegance, the magic, it was just captivating, and still is. The highlight of every »Mahou shoujo (Magical girl)« anime is the transformation scene we are all waiting for, so I decided to make just that!

It is quite a challenge to make such a dynamic pose into a static papercraft, and I had to figure out some tricks to do this, but all in all it's a genuine 90' Sailor Moon transformation sequence papercraft :)

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 30 cm, which means that Sailor Moon is about 26 cm tall, the stand about 3 – 3,5 cm thick. It consists of a 3D attached Sailor Moon model, with a separate 3D broch (that is just glued on like that), her 2D transformation ribbons, her 2D 2-sided wings and the 3D stand with 2 2D 2-sided heart transformation patterns.

The key to this craft is actually to be really neat and tidy when doing this, so definitely a 9/10 on a difficulty scale (advanced and for experienced assemblers only). The Sailor Moon papercraft has the stand where her feet are imbedded in, but that would definitely have to be reinforced and possibly made to stand with wire. Same goes for the wings that would need either wire or sticks to hold them in place so they would be attached the right way – but in doing that the wings can actually be moved up and down and in an angle, which makes the effort definitely show at the end being worthwhile.
The pieces of Sailor Moon are all attached together, but overall, because it is so slender, it has smaller parts to put together and the twin tails would probably also have to be additionally glued at the top so they would not fall over.

Same goes for the stand. If you want to include the 2 hearts, those would have to be attached on the stand with wire to hold their place. Or they can be made from cutting out pink foil and attaching those on the stand (which would also look amazing when doing that with the ribbons on her body; the foil would add extra shiny texture and it would hold the shape better).

Additionally, to these ideas about assembly tips, the Sailor Moon papercraft would, of course, look best if she would float. So, my tip would be to make her without the stand and just hang her from a wire or thread so she would look natural in her floaty pose.

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

All in all, as said, only for the not faint of heart and experienced papercrafters to make her look and stand the way she should. I will definetly try to get some time on my hands and make this baby, so you know that she can actually look as elegant and floaty as in the animation :)

In the meantime, hope you got some drive and motivation to do some of your own papercrafts. Enjoy and happy crafting~

BTW: The real funny part for this is that the idea actually came to me in a dream XD I was dreaming on being on my PC and thinking about what to do next for a papercraft and the idea came to me to make the transformation sequence of Sailor Moon, because it is so iconic and amazing. With all the wings and floating ribbons XD And the papercraft just started to dance and float and sparkle in my dream, damn it was so cool XD Sometimes my dreams are really random and I got no idea where this came from. It was probably at least 2 years since I last saw the new remakes of the Sailor Moon anime, so.... random? I guess :D

Neko Musume (GeGeGe no Kitarou) built papercraft

Neko Musume (GeGeGe no Kitarou) built papercraft

Here you can see another one of my built papercrafts I not only designed, textured and unfolded myself, but also assembled XD And it's no other than the cute “Neko Musume” (Cat girl) from the series “GeGeGe no Kitarou”.

She was my fav character from the anime, so of course I also had to build the papercraft I made of her. Took some time, and the last episode is quite a while back, since the season ended. But as far as I know, we get to see a sequel of some kind, movie I think, so I look forward to that! :) I get to post her now and hopefully you like it as well.

The craft itself is unfolded to 25 cm, so it’s a standard height for my humanoid papercrafts. As always, I started with the face, and made my way back to the hair, and closed it at the neck part. After I got the head, I added the 2D details, such as the bow and the ears.

Next, I made the hands separately, since I hate making fingers, so I wanted to have that out of the way fast. Nothing really to say here, if you already did finger and hand papercrafts, you know how tedious those can be. So, if you’ll assemble it yourself, take your time and work with either a small stick, tweezers or a needle (like I do to help myself close these small parts).

After the hands always follows the torso. Since she has a dress, and covered legs, you can always divide such papercrafts in at least 2 parts that you can make separately and then glue together. Much faster, easier and satisfying as I see it :D I made the 2 sleeves first, and then joined them together with the rest of the dress. After I got the dress part of the torso build about ½, I added the hands and just glued them in the right place, and added the pre-made head. For the head I tucked the neck with the flaps inside the torso hole, and glued/attached the head from the inner side of the torso. The simplest way for me to do it, so I recommend trying it that way (if you cannot get to the flaps from the inside to put glue on them, use a long stick or tweezers like I did. I always help myself with a long plastic chopstick, because it’s long enough, the glue does not stick onto it, and it has the right girth to help with any kind of holes). After that I built the remaining dress and then added the remaining extra 2D details of the dress on it.

Once I got all of this done, all that is left are the legs, which, as said before, are built separately. Nothing unusual here, just following the edge ID numbers to put them together. And once you have the legs all done, you can add in some last-minute weights (such as small pebbles that I always use to make difficult-standing papercrafts sturdy), and at the end glue both parts at the waist.

And there you go, my own “Neko Musume”. For any extra tips on how to make her yourself, I really do suggest adding weights into the feet, since it’s such a leaning pose and she has tall stilettos. And making her in many separate parts and attaching them part by part together, since it’s really easiest to make. Just try it and you’ll see ;)

The papercraft template and the price/info of the purchase can be found here (if you want to buy the template, just write me a private note/message):

Enjoy and happy crafting~

Bear Wedding Pair papercraft

Let's get a bit romantic with the next papercraft post I made, shall we? :) I present you the “Bear wedding pair” I made. As you can see, the idea is from the reference picture I saw on Twitter that somebody made, so I decided to make a papercraft out of the craft and make my own version out of it. I can post a bit of girly stuff from time to time, I think it’s a cute gift for anybody getting married or something like that, or they can be built separately just as deco as well.

In any case, the papercraft pair are unfolded to 20 cm, plus the hat of the groom adds about 3cm to the height as well, depending on how you position the cylinder hat of the groom really. Both of them are made out of 15 page-long template that you print out and assemble.

The papercraft consists of both bride and groom. They both have separate 3D heads, separate 3D ears and a separate 3D snout, that are all built and glue together at the end. The bodies are also separately made and are 3D. The groom has 3D feet and 3D arms that are part of the body, the bride has 3D feet that are part of the body and simple 2D 2-sided arms that are glued on just like that.

Both also have some additional add-ons such as the 2D 2-sided wail of the bride, the simple 3D cylinder hat, the brides 2D bow at the back of the dress and of course the blue roses that each have. The roses are actually made out of 3 different 2D parts that you glue together and can be made simply like this, or you can additionally add the 2-sided part on as well. They are actually really simple to make, since they are formed from 2D parts, so they look complicated but they really are easy to make. And they look original and pretty, just like real roses.

I have to say that although they look boxy, the papercraft is not that boxy at all. Well, not that it is particularly hard to make, but it is rather time-consuming, since the boxy parts of the body have a lot of edges, so those take up a lot of time to make, since the edges are rounded up with those to make them look as cute as they are.

Blue Diamond (Steven Universe) built papercraft

The Steven Universe cartoon series is sadly over for some time now, BUT that doesn’t mean that the fans are over the hype and everything it teaches us. No freaking way! One of the most epic series in a long time, and I really enjoyed every single episode of it. And as it was in these long lockdown days, I was re-hyping myself for the series again and watching some of the best song clips online, when I decided to make my favorite Diamond of the main 4, of which I have made all 4 as papercrafts, but I also wanted to have one built and standing in my showcase.

So, I decided to make my Blue Diamond papercraft. Why? I think she is the most awesome out of all 4, for me personally. Just the esthetics of the few first episodes it showed her, the mystics behind it, the first shown Diamond in the cartoon, her power, the sheer endless sadness she expressed with her presence, the 80s anime silhouette that immediately reminded me of beautiful old anime movies such as “The Last Unicorn”, “Capitan Harlock” or “Interstella5555”, it was love at first site really. And that’s a pretty rare thing for me, since I probably watched (no kidding) over 100.000 different anime/cartoons + counting, and you can’t pull me on the “totally love it” side with most of them. But this one hit the spot :)

Blue Diamond
Moving on to the assembly, the papercraft of Blue Diamond is unfolded to about 40 cm, since she IS a Diamond and huge, and it’s a great height to comfortably put together all parts. That being said, the only small parts that can be fiddly are the nose and the fingers, other than that it is mostly a walk in the part.

As always, I started making the face first (with the neck), and then the hair around. I finished the hair about ½ through, since I didn’t want to close it already, before finishing and attaching the head on the upper torso part, because trust me, you want to make the torso first and then attach the head. Really easier that way. So, I moved on to make her hands separately, to get that out of the way, and then the whole arms with the hands. Next came the top torso part of the body till the hips, so I had enough to attach the finished arms on it.

Once you have the upper torso with the finished hands and the separate head with half the hair, you can attach both parts together at the neck. Just push the neck with the flaps inside the torso hole, and smear the flaps from the inside of the torso with glue. Once the glue is on, fold them on the inside of the torso to glue it where it belongs, and you have yourself half of the papercraft finished.

Once the head is on the torso and the glue dries, make sure to reinforce the neck with additional jammed-up paper on the inside, so you make sure the neck doesn’t snap. I did that with the leftover paper from cutting out the template pieces, as always, so you can integrate those pieces without making any additional trash, which is always nice.

Now that the torso and the head are firmly attached and reinforced, I finished the rest of the hair on the back and closed it. Make sure to take extra time to glue the last piece on, flap by flap, since it can get a bit fiddly closing it like this. BUT since the back hair are very close to the torso, believe me, it is way easier to make it with these steps, than just building it all in 1 and then gluing it on, because you can get some problems gluing the arms on like that.

All that was left to do was to make the rest of the dress and close it. Again, since the dress pieces are the biggest of all of the template pieces, be sure to get a firm grip on those inside flaps, so it’s really neatly put together. Since I got small hands and fingers, I mostly do everything by hand, but I definitely suggest using other tools to help yourself if you can’t reach parts (such as sticks, tweezers, rulers, etc…).

And once you close the dress at the bottom, you got yourself you owl Blue Diamond. She stands perfectly, since the dress has a big surface and it’s flat and the upper body is in sync with everything. So, there is no need to additionally put weights in it, but you can always do so if you want to be 1000% sure. But it won’t fall over so easily even without.

And there you go, as you can see from the pictures, my own built and assembled Blue Diamond. It is the design of the older series, since I made her around the 2. season… probably, where she was still unhappy and miserable. BUT that’s the Blue I fell in love with, since these kinds of esthetics are really appealing to me, and the pose is also somewhat like an icon.

*Btw. also added some plastic sparkly stones around her when I took the pictures (coz I happen to have them around), since it looks more fancy and original that way XD nothing special, just wanted to enhance her "blue-ness" :D

The template and info on how to buy them (just write me a note/message) can be found here:

I hope you like her and that it sparks some forgotten Steven Universe hype with all of the fans out there, which lets you remember why these series was so freaking awesome. Happy crafting~

Ohayou! Spank (Good morning! Spank) papercraft

Time for a retro papercraft commission that I made some time ago. The commissioner found a papercraft reference online and wanted me to reconstruct that design and make a papercraft Spank.

Rollin' Stars
Now, before we go into the details, YES, I am super old XD not saying anything about the commissioner, just talking about me, because I actually watched this retro anime on TV when I was a kid. On German TV, because I mostly watched German TV when I was little (although I am not German), it was called »Hallo Kurt« and I though the dog was really funny and it was a cute anime with its own style and all, and I still think it's a really nicely aged anime that still has a unique style even today and I think that's a lot, considering that in the last 25 years since the anime was on TV, at least 100.000 new anime series came out, so…. XD

Spank or Kurt is a special and very smart dog that is in love with a cat actually :D so it’s really funny and the original voice of the dog is sooo cuteee :D do watch the reference online or watch the anime so you know what I am talking about.

In any case, this commission was a real journey in time, since I immediately recognized the character and it was really fun to make as well.

The papercraft is 17 cm tall and has 3 pages to print. Spank is really simply made, a boxier design as the commissioner wanted, with the mouth being 3D and inward, so that should be the only real “fiddly” part to assemble, although as said its really basic skill papercrafting. He has a 3D attached body, and separate 2D 2-sided ears, 2D hair and 2 2D 2-sided cats that you put on the tip of his tail (which are his cat friends from the opening theme of the anime that take part in his adventures as well) that you just glue on like that. He also has 2D hands with a 2D flower that you also glue on just like that, and a simple 2D boxy purse that you put around his head at the end. Super simple to make really :) And because the commissioner is awesome, he allowed me to re-sell the papercraft for anybody wanting to assemble it for him or herself.

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

Go watch the anime, I am sure it still has to be online somewhere to watch and enjoy, it’s really cute and funny :) Happy crafting~

Hatsune Miku chibi (Bear costume) papercraft

“Welcome to the internet, I will be your guide ~kumaaa~!” XD

Or something like that. I saw a super cute Hatsune Miku figurine in a bear costume like this online, and I thought I would make one for myself, in papercraft form of course, so here it is.

The papercraft is unfolded to 15 cm and has 6 pages to print. The papercraft is made out of a 3D Hatsune Miku model with a skirt and bear paws as her hands and feet and her Hoodie with 3D bear ears and hair tails. More or less simple to make, with a complex texture to look very nice, such as the snowflakes in her hair and such (really took my time to make the colors pop out and to look nice).

She has both feet and bottom flat, the skirt also touches the bottom, so she sits just fine without any weights or additional help. I find sitting papercrafts very satisfying to display, since they fit everywhere and never fall over no matter what. And the poses are always adorable XD

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

(I did print out the papercraft to assemble it myself, but timeee.... I got none currently, so we'll see how long this will take me to make. In any case, I want to make this cutie, since I love sitting papercrafts so much now, coz I am lacking space in my loft to put them anywhere on display and if she sits like this I can put her really anywhere I want. Well, will take a while to post a finished version of it, but I'm on it XD~)

Hope you like the cutie. Enjoy and happy crafting~
