And of course, had to make it for my mom specifically, because she is crazy about frogs as I am XD And some building tips for those who want to make it for themselves as well.

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

As with all of them, start with the head, move to the bottom. Begin making the eyes first and then build the head around that, making your way down to the neck.

Once the whole head is done, make the upper torso, the toga. Make the 2 sleeves, the 2 arms separately and glue those inside the sleeves, and then join them together with the upper torso part. Once you have this, glue on the torso part to the neck of the pre-made head and build the toga to the bottom.

Then, build the legs, starting from bottom to top and glue them inside the toga at the right angle.

At the end, you glue together the 2-sided halo and the wings and glue them on the head and on the backside of the frog. *Pro-tip: Make sure that the longer wing part touches the ground, so it has an additional “3rd leg” to stand on. This way, the frog will stand without problems and you don’t need to fill in the legs or anything. And all done.

Additionally to just gluing on the halo on the head, as I did, you can also glue it on wire and glue it inside the head to make it appear as it if floats, to make it prettier.

Just wanted to do some different, fun to design papercrafts I liked myself, and this came out of it. I really love frogs; they are super cute animals and I also collect figures of frogs if I see some nice ones XD

Saw a cute frog illustration online and decided to do an angelic frog papercraft, just for fun really. It’s a simple craft with many 2D, 2-sided parts to just glue on so it looks very detailed, but it’s simple to assemble.

     

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 18 cm and has 4 pages to print. It consists of a 3D frog model, as well as 2D items, such as the back wings, the hands and feet, the halo, the toga and the flowers.

Politoed (Pokemon) papercraft

Politoed (Pokemon) papercraft

Another day, another papercraft to show you ;) This time I decided to share with you my Politoed papercraft!

 

The craft is unfolded at 27 cm, so that means a about 23 cm tall Politoed, without the 2D swirl on its head. The craft has 9 pages to print and I think it's pretty simple. It has a 3D attached body, and the only 2D part is, as said, the swirl on the head. Of course, since it's also a Pokemon papercraft, textured and modeled by me (since I don't like using the ripped Pokemon models, because the textures are too crappy and non-HD), it comes with the shiny texture as well, as you see the blue color at the bottom of the reference picture.

Think it deserved a special place in my Pokemon papercrafts I wanted to make, because there are no Politoed papercrafts out there to make, and because I always loved the cute little frog Pokemon since it was released in its generation :)

Tabi Kaeru - Travel Frog built papercraft

Tabi Kaeru - Travel Frog built papercraft

Today I am showing you one of my older papercrafts "Tabi Kaeru" or translated "Travel frog". The papercraft was made more than 1 year ago and at that time the Japanese game was hugeee and very popular so I made the frog character from the game. But it is still a cute papercraft and if you like frogs, you are gonna love this one :) 

 

The papercraft consists of 2 parts, the frog and his hat. I frist made the hat, since it is simple and made from 2 sides, so you also have the inner part of the hat and can turn it around. It has some 2-sided decorations such as the berries and the belt, but also his rope, which is used to tie the hat around the frog. I made it like so that you can take the rope off at one side, so you can take it on and off whenever you want (I glued the rope on one side and just tucked the rope on the other side in a small hole that was left from gluing the 2 stripes together, and with no effort at all you can have it detachable that way ;) ) 

Next was the frog, which is super cute btw XS I made his eyes first and made my way to the fron legs first and then the back legs. You can easily close it at the bottom part or at any leg with the bottom part, so it's not hard to do. The only fiddly part are the small toes on his legs, so you have to be a bit precise with those. Else it's easy to make :)

Tabi Kaeru (旅かえる) - Travel Frog papercraft

Tabi Kaeru - Travel Frog papercraft

So I have finally finished the papercraft and I can proudly post it finished XD it is super cute. 

 
The chracter is the frog from the Japanese mobile game Tabi Kaeru, which I already posted about in my other WIP releases. It is a really sweet game, so people, download it and play it. Currently it is a huge hit in Japan and China, and people are crazy about it. I am sure, even if you want to play it and can't because if the language barrier, it will be avalable in English soon. I am sure of it :) Then all of you can see what the game is really about and how mesmerizing it can be.

The papercraft itself consists of 2 parts, the frog's body and the hat. The hat consists of 2 sided, inner and outer, and is super easy to make. It has a 2D sash, some berries for decoration and the string you tie it around the frog's neck. The frog body is whole made as a 3D model. The paws can be somewhat tricky, but not as much. The other parts are super easy to make. 

The craft cosists of 5 pages all together and I would say it's a 6/10 to make. The frog with the hat, you just put on or glue when finished, is 12 cm tall. I wanted it to be smaller, since it is about the size of the frog in the game itself :)

The unfold is 19 cm tall and has 4 pages to print. It is one of the Snowy Pokemon pack I released and they all fit together in style and size.
