BACKGROUND STORY:

As many of you know and still remember, DeviantArt has been a huge art site ever since it started in 2000. It was a great site for actual ART and actual ARTIST making their thing and posting and getting their stuff out and making a name for themselves. But ever since 2020, when the devil called Wix bought this domain and took over, DeviantArt is a sham and husk of what it once was.

The community turned to sh*t, the site is pure sh*t, it’s unusable and basic functions have been locked behind paywalls, all the while they are selling every last bit of their actual artists on here to AI crap and making it an unusable garbage to find anything on.

In these last months that they have even locked the basic download function of the site, it has become clear to everybody still struggling in this sinking dumpster fire hellhole, that our bellowed DA is drowning big time, and we all have the feeling that the site will completely shut down soon, since they are getting desperate and trying to milk everybody for the last bucks they can get from us.

I mean, who would have thought that actually NOT listening to the fanbase of artists making up this site to the glorious thing it was before all this would be a BAD IDEA. Huh. Really weird. It’s like corpo actually listening to people complaining about 1000 problems on here and more since Wix made it sh*t would help elevate this crapshoot to a somewhat decent site again. It’s like actually people using the site makes the site good and Wix just making everything unusable and full of AI and porn which 99% of artist on here HATED would make it unpopular to the degree it is now. Weird.

Long story short, DA is sh*t, it’s dying, nobody wants to use it because it’s just AI and porn and disgusting fetish trash. Everybody get your backup stuff now if you still haven’t gotten everything. And good luck to us all trying to establish our businesses and hobbies on other sites in the future.

Mudkip house papercraft

As you maybe know, 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Pokemon! And in honor of my fav genre of Pokemon games, I wanted to make a tribute to the objectively best Pokemon games out there ever (no other opinions allowed here!! XD): POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON!!

Everybody knows 2DS and 3DS are the best, most awesome and amazing Pokemon consoles out there and that there will ever be :9 and my fav games of those coming out for the 3DS were mystery dungeon games! Love them. Always will love them. And I wanted to make these projects for so long now, because I simply love these Pokemon-themed houses from the game and I think they are adorable to no end. And since it’s the 30th anniversary, I had to take the time and finally make these in the flesh.

I have made the basic starter-type houses for the most common Pokemon of the game and the ones I loved to play as. So, I hope you enjoy them!

The papercraft is unfolded to 14 cm heigh with 10 pages to print out.

It consists of a mystery dungeon diorama of the Mudkip water starter house, including the in-game references of the house interior as exterior + a simple Mudkip model with its scarf. It has all the basic add-ons in the house as around the garden, including the Mudkip mailbox and its flag.

I have referenced all of the room and garden decoration from the last gen game “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX”, so I redrawn all of the walls and textures from my saved games from my 3DS as well as upgraded some of the looks of the outside to make it look more new-gen-ish and high quality.

Vash the Stampede (Trigun) papercraft

Vash the Stampede (Trigun) papercraft

The new remake of the famous “Trigun” anime sadly ended ): Such a great anime and I loved it so much!

I feel like compared to the old anime, the new one got a LOT of hate, because they “dared” to remake the look of Vash the Stampede, the main, and the animation is also made by 3D models and not traditionally drawn characters. While I mostly agree with any anime fandom, I completely disagree with this one. - I could not stand seeing the old anime and I hated it and never got into the story at all. I think the new one is soooo much better, the characters are really well made (and is super hot!!! Alyways a plus XD), I love the animation and style of it, it is such a great anime! And I loved Vashes transformation in the first series and NOW in these last episodes, they also played a huge homage to the original series animation and made his hairstyle the same as in the old one. Really amazing overall life circle of this series and one of the really good ones! And the good ones always need a papercraft or 2 to pay tribute to them as well (:

The papercraft is unfolded to 22 cm and has 9 pages to print (1 of them being a double-sided print page for the inner side of his red jacket).

It consists of a 3D model of Vash, with a separate simple 3D gun, his holster on his leg, and a nice stand with 3D rocks. The hair is made out of 3D spikes to look the original part, so that can take a bit longer to make, but it’s not super hard to put together. The figure also has optional 3D or 2D hands.

I really didn’t see any good papercrafts of Vash out there, so I really wanted to make it cool and sweet-looking! Hope you do give the anime a try, if you haven’t seen it already, its really great!

Kaya-chan (Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai) papercraft

A really cute and kinda creepy anime this season is the underrated series called “Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai” aka “Little Kaya isn’t scary”. It is about a little preschool girl that can see the dead, curses and demons and has special psychic powers that can exorcise these evil tainted entities. A really interesting story and Kaya is really super cute, so I wanted to make her into a papercraft.

The papercraft is unfolded to 17 cm heigh with 3 pages to print out (1 of them being double-sided for the hair color on the inner side).

It consists of a simple 3D model of Kaya, with 2D hair tails and a optional black psychic face for both versions. I also included optional 3D or 2D hands for the assembly as well.

With this basic pose the papercraft should be able to stand just fine, but you can fill in the legs when building it together just in case.

I already released some of the main characters from this adult cartoon, which you can find in my Ko-Fi shop. And due to popular demand, I also made Lucifer, the king of Hell itself and the father of Charlie, our main heroine!

Now I know what you are thinking, “adult cartoon”, yeah right, but it’s actually true. No child should watch this cartoon or hear the language or the content of this at all XD it’s just too fucked-up, seriously. But that is exactly why I love it so much!

The papercraft itself is 25 cm tall (probably about 23 cm without the duck and hat) and has 4 pages to print.

Since the arms and legs are very thin and small it’s going to be a bit of a demanding assembly.

Lucifer has a basic 3D body, and then his add-on hat (which you need to glue on his head in a few spots to make it hold), a simple 3D staff with original sin apple AND an adorable little simple 3D rubber ducky he collects in tons and obsesses about so much XD The ducks are so funny in the cartoon, I had to include at least 1 (You can print out a ton of them and make him an army of rubber duckies, I bet even the papercraft Lucifer would love to see those around him XD)!

VK1602 (Ash Arms) papercraft commission

Another sexy papercraft commission I can share the preview of. This one is called »VK1602« and it's the tank made into an anime girl design XD to each their own, I guess. In any case, this version is with her blouse only, though I don't think it was directly from the game, but I could be wrong. I make what the commissioner wants and here she is.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 22 cm and has 5 pages to print out.

It consists of a 3D model of the naked VK1602, and then you have optional add-ons. The add-ons are her blouse, the bow in her hair and the 2D 2-sided tail.  

Each of the add-ons fit onto the papercraft directly, so the base VK1602 can be clothed with any of the options included. And since it’s a somewhat tilted pose and with bare feet, the stand is also included so it can either be glued on or put on with magnets.

Cure Arcana Shadow (Precure) papercraft

Maybe you know the series “Pretty Cure”? It is a hugely popular children’s anime, and they now have probably over 20 different seasons of this, and over +200 individual Pretty Cure Mahou shoujo characters XD It’s hard to keep up. BUT, this season, the series is called “Meitantei Pretty Cure!” and people are going crazy about a new vileness Precure called “Cure Arcana Shadow”.

Damn, I love her design a lot! It could do with a bit less of pink in it, but they will probably even make her worse-looking and completely pinkified after she is “transformed to the good side by the power of friendship” bla bla, because that’s the kind of brainwashing little girls in Japan are used to, I guess. No matter what I think of the actual messages in this sexist anime series, I still appreciate the designs of Mahou shoujo a LOT, and some of my earliest actually 100% self-designed papercrafts was from Precure as well! And because I really like the black esthetic of this one so much, I decided to make her into a papercraft!

The papercraft is unfolded to 25 cm heigh with 7 pages to print out (with 2 of them being double-sided print pages for the inside of the hair).

It consists of my 3D model of Cure Arcana Shadow, with very, very long hair XD The template has a separate 3D staff, a separate 3D stand, a separate shawl with pink frills, a lot of 2D add-ons, such as her bows, braids, broches, ties, and optional 2D or 3D hands.

Since she has high heels on, it is better to make the stand for her, so you can either glue her on, put wire inside or magnets, so she can stand better. Since the hair in the back is very long and heavy, the legs need to be reinforced for her to be able to stand upright. Because of this and the various parts for this figure, I do recommend it for more experienced papercrafters.

Ms Wavychu (Pokemon WW) papercraft

Another Pokemon gen probably means another version of Pikachu in some kind of way, and with the short trailer reveal we actually got 2 of them! Both are not really peak Pikachu designs for me, because dressing up animals/Pokemon is just weird and torturous behavior, but with Pokemon it can somewhat seem cute and as if they themselves really like it. It is fictional after all ;9 While the “drunk uncle that’s always on vacations” aka Windychu looks really cringe for me XD the counterpart of the “fun aunt” aka Wavychu does look miles better and actually somewhat cute. So I decided to make it into a papercraft as well.

The papercraft consists of a Ms. Wavychu 3D model with add-on 2D clothes and the cap that are optional. The tail is also 2D 2-sided, so when assembling, you can put wire between them when you glue them together to make it a movable, posable part.

The clothes are best assembled partly separate from the Pikachu and then you just close the last few flaps on the model directly. The cap does come off, but if you want to make it not slip off and permanent, put glue on the edges where it hold onto both ears and that should fix it.

It is unfolded to 18 cm and has 6 pages to print.

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

As with all of my papercrafts, you start from top and build to bottom.

Assemble the 2 ears separately and then start making the top of the head, attach the 2 ears on and make the whole head to the edge of the neck.

When you have the head, make the 2 arms and 2 legs separately. Make the 2D tail as well (Pro tip: You can put some wire inside the tail before you glue both parts together, so it can stand better and it can be posed as well) and set all of these aside for later.

Now start assembling the torso onto the pre-made head till you get the 2 holes for the arms, and glue those inside. Build the torso downwards a bit more till you are only left with the bottom part and the legs. At this point, make a small incision on the back side to stick the tail into the torso and glue the tail from the inside onto the torso with some tape, so it can move freely.

All that is left is to glue on the last bottom parts of the torso and when you have the 2 holes for the feet left, glue them inside. Close the whole craft with the soles of the feet (Pro tip: Put some weights inside through the feet holes at the end if you want to make it stand better) and it’s done.

Another post, another commission preview to show you what can be commissioned and made. As all of you gacha fans know by now, this is Razor, the really cool guy from Genshin Impact the commissioner wanted in this exact pose.

The papercraft is unfolded to 22 cm and has 6 pages to print out.

In consists of a 3D model of Razor, with various add-ons.

The back tail of his hair is actually attached to the jacket, so it’s really easy to assemble. The jacket is also a separate 2D part that is build on him, as well as his scarf and some other smaller 2D add-on parts.
