Sharing another commission today, so here it is. Since I already did the Alphonse in his armor life-size papercraft..:

...I had to do the other half, his brother Edward Elric as well.

This is yet another life-size papercraft for the commissioner of Edward, which is amazingly unfolded to 165 cm. And the shock of it all, YES, he is actually 165 cm tall in the series. WTF! I mean, all the time they nag him and tell him he is small and gets called “chibiko” all the time, YET, he is the same height as ME! What the hell is this! XD 165cm is not small people! Just to tell you now out of the bat…. =_= ちび子て言うな!!!!! :D

The papercraft itself is basically what you see. A whole joined papercraft body, and with a 1-sided cape, since the commissioner wanted it like that because it’s too much trouble to make 2-sided, so he will just paint it over when it’s done. And I do agree when we are talking about life-size crafts, since they are a LOT of work to do anyway.

He has all the parts and the pose from the reference figurine you see, since the commissioner wanted to make it the same pose, since it’s a nice dynamic one and the craft will be able to stand that way and won’t tip over.

I hope you like it, I am sure the commissioner will share the pictures once it is done at the end of the year, so stay tuned for those amazing pictures and happy crafting till then~

Time to reveal another one of my commissions, the awesome Alphonse Elric from the anime Fullmetal alchemist, in his ORIGINAL HEIGHT :D yeah baby, fullbody papercraft commission and it looks amazing :D you could even use it as a base for a cosplay :D

 

So this huge thing is 220 cm tall and is, as you can see, not even unfolded to A4 pages, but the commissioner just needs the pieces to then print them on bigger, sturdier paper :) He has all the original pieces, as well as the sash and apron, although if you are making a lifesize papercraft, I would recomend to make those 2 pieces out of different material to make it stand out.
