PopStep (My Hero Academia) built papercraft

Already posted my PopStep papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/PopStep-My-Hero-Academia-papercraft-1192650985

And now it’s time to assemble her and give you some pro-tips on how to make life simpler for yourself when doing these. Let’s go.

**********************************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, you can divide the assembly into separate parts: the head with the 2D hair, the 2 hands, the arms, the torso, the skirt, the legs, and the add-ons.

If we start with the head, you assemble the face and neck first. Then you glue on the front hair and lastly close it with the back hair. After this, you can glue on the 2D 2-sided tails on it.

Next you can separately build the 2 hands/gloves, with either the 2D or 3D hands (note that I did the preview pics with the 2D version of the hands). When you got those, set them aside and start gluing together the 2 arms and the upper torso. When you have all these parts, glue the arms on the torso, build the remaining torso till you get to the hips, and then glue on the hands at the right angle onto the arms.

Next step is to make the legs. You do this part by assembling the legs from bottom to top and finish with the buttocks part. This means, build the shoes first glue the leg from there upwards till you come to the butt. When you have this, glue the legs inside the hips at the right angle, so it can stand.

Next, you make the skirt and close it on her hips, add the 2D wings and the 3D karaoke machine (note that I did not include the machine in the preview, but it is included in the template) and she is done.

PopStep (My Hero Academia) papercraft

The new spin-off series of Boku no Hero Academia started, so I wanted to make the cutest character out of the bunch, called “PopStep”. And here you go.

**************

The papercraft of the cute Idol chick is unfolded to 20 cm height and has 3 pages to print out.

It is made out of a 3D simple model of PopStep, with simple 3D column “stands” on her head to glue on the 2D 2-sided hair tails, 2D 2-sided wings, an optional 3D microphone she uses in the first episode, and 2 versions for her hands: simpler 2D and more complex 3D hands.

Since she has plateau shoes and both stand firmly on the ground, she can stand comfortably as is, but you can also put weights inside, just to be sure.

I really loved the design as soon as I saw it, so I said I had to make her into a papercraft.

Tsuyu (Boku no hero academia) FREE papercraft

And it is time for the second free release of a papercraft commission of the goreously amazing and awesomly posed (if I may say so myself) Tsuyu from Boku no hero academia. You have to thank yokuvika for his generous commission, in which he said he wanted the papercrafts he paid for to be shared with everybody, so all of you can enjoy the builds.

Let me tell you that the pose was a really pain in the neck to make. Not to even mention the edit of the ripped model. You can see what I war working with in the previous posts, if you are interested in it.

The finished papercraft is 25 cm tall, since the commissioner didn't want any smaller parts, and because she is quite complex, we diceded this to be the ideal height. The template has 13 pages to print.

The papercraft consists of the main body, the stand, and her googles on the head. Some parts are 2D to just make the build easier really. I think it's fairly obvous from the unfold templates and the PDF edge ID files.

You can download the template here (along with all of my other FREE papercrafts):

Hope you like it. Do download it and build it. I would love to see some pictures of the papercraft being made :)

Enjoy~
