Hoozuki (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) built papercraft

Yaaay, finally managed to finish my Hoozuki papercraft as well XD so here you go people! This is the built papercraft of Hoozuki from the anime "Hoozuki no Reitetsu".

Hoozuki Talking Icon

The craft is a whooping 50 cm tall, since I wanted it to fit with the other 2 characters I have made, Shiro the shiba inu and Karashi the sadistic bunny, so all 3 of them make up a perfect group and are proportionally high according to the real height in the anime.

Hoozuki Phone Icon

The papercraft consist of 2 separate parts, the body and his skiky club, so I started by making the club first :D After I finished it and had some fun with that (I mean come on you make an iron-spiked club you have to at least swing it around a few times and pretend to club people XD why else make it then!!! have fun with papercrafts people!) I started making the fingers, since I hate that part most and wanted to have that out of the way as soon as possible. I built the fingers and then the hands and went up to the shoulders so both arms were made sepparately.

***PRO TIP: A tip maybe for fingers or any parts that are super similar to each other and you like, as me, cut every piece out first and then move on to gluing them together. I always turn the printed template page over and mark every part of the fingers with 1, 2, 3 etc, and draw it very softly with a pencil, so I know, when they are cut out, what piece needs to go on top of the other piece. You can use the same principle with indistinguishable pieces so you don't have to think so much and compare them with the templates.***

Then I made the separate head (icluding horn) and the hair with the 2-sided pieces and glued both of them together at the end, since I found it easier like that. After I got the whole head I glued the 2D ears on as well. So I got the head and continued my way with the stripes till I had the upper shoulder part of the torso, so I could attach both previously made arms on it. Then I made the rest of the torso with the kimono, gluing each piece on the already made upper part of the body, turining it on the head so it was easier made. After that I built the feet separately to glue them on the already built body. !Warning! be sure to keep the kimono on one side, either at the front where separate 2D, 2-sided kimono flap goes, or at the back open, else you will not get the built feet it (if you want to atrach the built feet to the kimono, which I sugest is the easiest way to go). *Aditionally you can also put the already built feet part in the hanging kimono part in, but then you would have to attach the second part of the kimono with the feet on the upper torso.* As I went with the 1. option I slided the feet uder his kimono and glued them on like that and closed the front part with the 2D, 2-sided kimono cloth, and he was finished :) Of course I put the club in his hand and it stands ok, but I suggest adding a tiny drop on the shoulder to keep it from falling off, as I did.

Hoozuki Sway Icon

The craft is not hard to do, since it is so big you also don't have to fiddly with the fingers as much, since they are comfortably scaled to make. Not to mention you get to make a iron-spiked club, which is super fun to play with (we are all grown-up children inside, don't be so stiff about it :D just go with it).

For anybod interested in making the papercraft, you can find aditional info about it here:

Karashi (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) built papercraft

Another built papercraft of mine is the next in line for the Hoozuki anime, and this time I present you Karashi :)

This cute but sadistic bunny called Karashi is about 18 cm tall and is a bit smaller than Shiro :D As always I started by doing the 2 ears and then built the snout and all around till I got the head done. I then made the 2 arms, the 2 legs, the fluffy tail and the sepparately detached paddle, chain and saddlebag.

The chain is a bit fiddly to make but it looks so cute at the end. I did it by cutting in each chain part and when I attached them together I made sure to glue them together with the cut facing the opposite direction so it's nicely attached and sturdy :) For the paddle and the bag they are just straightforward like a box design, the paddle being maybe a tad trickier because of the long grip.

After those I attached the arms on the already made head and attached the rest of the parts with the stripes of the body. At the end I left the bottom part of the legs open, making sure to glue everything nice and seamless, and then glued that part at the end and the rabbit was done :)

At the end you can just put on all the details (chain, paddle, saddlebag) on the main body, since they are completely detached and can be put on or off as much as you want (you can also see this on the picture, so if you want to make him without them, it's no problem).

For anybody interested in info about the template, you can find it here:

Shiro (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) built papercraft

This is my cute little doggo from the anime "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" named Shiro that I wanted to show all of you built. Isn't he a good doggo?! So good; good boy :D

The papercraft is around 22 cm tall and has 9 pages to print. He has a main attached body and his yorishiro (the red-white rope) is 2-sided and 2D. As always with my builds, I started with the head, making the snout and the inner part first. After I had that I made the ears. I joined those ready parts with the remaining stripes for the head and glued the 2-sided 2D tounge at the end. **Pro tipMake the 2 parts of the inner mouth first, so that way you can attach the teeth with their flaps on the flaps of the mouth insted, so the teeth flaps do not show anywhere on the model.**

After i got the head, I made his fluffy big tail and his front paws. Then I joined the front paws with the head and the middle stripes to make the front of the body. Moving backwards I glued the backside of the craft and attached the tail. At the end I finished the model with the 2 back paws and closed the whole model with the downside of the paws, which comes as 1 piece just for this purpose to make it easier (you can see the downside of the back paws in the pictures) and you are done with the doggo.

At the end come the decorational yorishiro, which I first glued the 2 backsides and cut them out to the seemes. And then you just glue them around the neck of Shiro at the back and here you go, your own Shiro doggo from the anime :)

Hoozuki (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) papercraft

Hey there peeps, last of the "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" papercraft intermezzo here, and how else could it be, it is the man itself, Hoozuki!

Hoozuki Talking Icon

Hoozuki is the talented, sadistic deputy(and a demon god) of the King of Hell, Enma. He tries to solve various problems in Hell. In his spare time, he takes care of the animals who work in Animal Hell and raises Goldfish grass. He is stoic and serious, rarely losing his cool under any circumstance, though he frequently blows his top whenever it is necesairy XD. He is also very manipulative, only because this allows him to manipulate and control the Underworld from the shadows. He gets called a sadist by various people, yet he himself denies it.

As mention with the other 2 papercrafts as well, this anime itself, which as said is "Hoozuki no Reitetsu", has a few seasons and specials, OVA's, so if you don't know the anime yet and love slapstick and general Japanese humor, well let me tell you that you will pee your pans laughing at every damn episode out there XD I don't think it is such a mainstream anime as Gintama, meaning being really popular in other non-Japanese speaking countries, but it is definelty unterrated people. It's really good XD

Moving on the this amazing papercraft, it is a whooping 50cm tall and has 16 pages to print. It consists of a 3D main attached body, his 3D club, and some 2D 2-sided accesories all around. Really look my sweet this with him and I am really happy of how he looks, because it is pretty much spot-on on how he looks in the anime :)

And you can now see the built papercraft, assembled by me, here:

This sadly concludes my "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" papercraft projects, but surely, when it gets more and new anime season (believe me it will!!!) it will get super popular and maybe I can make some more characters of them then :)

Hope you liked them and happy crafting~

Karashi (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) papercraft

Continuing the "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" papercraft project is this little fellow or should I say gal, because she is female ;) And her name is Karashi, the devil bunny :)

Don't let her cute apearance decieve you, because she can pack a punch. She is definetly one of the most saddistic characters of the anime, and really pure evil XD I know what you are thinking, how can such a cudly, fluffy little ball of furr be actually evil... Well the answer, LOOK UP THE ANIME :D You have too see it for yourself to believe it. She one of the best tormentor demons in Hell (accoring to the anime). Although appearing innocent and cute at first glance, she claims her motto is "slow retribution" and wishes to fight against today's poor morals. But despite her inner violent nature, she has the typical attention span of a normal rabbit, stopping halfway through her self-introduction when she spotted a grassy spot to eat and lie in. Also typically airheaded and super funny ;)

This anime itself, which as said is "Hoozuki no Reitetsu", has a few seasons and specials, OVA's, so if you don't know the anime yet and love slapstick and general Japanese humor, well let me tell you that you will pee your pans laughing at every damn episode out there XD I don't think it is such a mainstream anime as Gintama, meaning being really popular in other non-Japanese speaking countries, but it is definelty unterrated people. It's really good :)

The papercraft itself is 18cm tall, and the template consist of 5 printable pages. She has a main attached 3D body, and some of her typical items, which is her typically Japanese mochi paddle, which she uses to punish and punch souls XD, a 3D saddle bag with a 2D belt, 2D whiskers, and a 2D 2-sided chain, which is used to hold her paddle. The chain is made link by link, so each of the chains needs to be attached in one another at a time, making is adjustable and removable from the papercraft, if you so wish.

Shiro (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) papercraft

As promised before I went to my week-long vacation, I said I will post some never-before-seen papercrafts I wanted to publish. So I am taking a break from the huge Akatsuki (Naruto) commission to present you the characters that I have made from one of the funniest anime out there (except Gintama), which is called "Hoozuki no Reitetsu" or translated as "Hozuki's Coolheadedness"!

This anime has a few seasons and specials, OVA's, so if you don't know the anime yet and love slapstick and general Japanese humor, well let me tell you that you will pee your pans laughing at every damn episode out there XD I don't think it is such a mainstream anime as Gintama, meaning being really popular in other non-Japanese speaking countries, but it is definelty unterrated people. It's really good :)

And because I love it so much, I decided to make my favourite charcaters out of the anime. And how else could it be, I have to start with the derpy doggo called "Shiro" as in the color white. He is originally one of the 3 animals from the Japanese story "Momotaro" (based of the anime story of his background), but because Momotaro is such a stupid idiot, he decides to work as Hoozuki in Hell (which is btw. a buroucracy, how else can it be XD - see, super funny). He is mainly the airhead character that is super likable and as you can see super adorable as well. He is kinda stupid, but in a lovable way :D but he also plays the tsukkomi role in some scenes (look up Japanese comedy people XD).

As for the papercraft itself, it is pretty straighforward. It is a 22cm tall craft, consisting of 9 pages to print. The doggo has a main 3D attached body, as well as his typical Japanese red and white prayer bow around his neck. Also you can see I made his tounge and teeth in 2D, which are then just attached on the body to make it simple. The tounge is really looooong, because I just imagined him that way, super derpy and all. It can be cut into a shorter piece for anybody not liking the desing.

Hope I can make some more Hoozuki fans this way and people will look this beauty of an anime up :) worth your time people. And posting some more of them as well ;D we are not finished with them people!

Happy crafting~
