Papercrafts and how to improve them

Happy New Year~ Last post of the year 2020
As already said with my Christmas wishes, the year has been pure crap, and thank hell it’s over soon. We can only hope the next one will actually bring us something good. No matter what you went through this year, shit politicians, corrupt governments, broken and trampled-on human rights, taken away freedom, lives lost, disease, fear, depression and psychical trauma, and not matter what “side” you are on with this pandemic, let’s not all forget that we are in this together. Quite literally, since we all live on the same planet really. And I think that’s the most important thing to learn from all of this. So, let’s try to skip the negative, internet trolling, bashing, badmouthing and judging others, and let’s try to set a positive attitude with the people living on the same planet as us. If not for them, do it for your own inner health and peace, because at the end of the day, you live with yourself and you alone are responsible for the course of your life. So, let’s take the last step of the year, say “Fuck you 2020!” and go out with a grand finale!

As for the picture in this post I made, it is the actual cover image I am now using on all of my social media sites and other sites, to unify all of them in a new design and a new attitude to papercrafts. I actually updated it more than 1 month ago, and didn’t really comment on it, but maybe since it’s the last post of the year, I can briefly explain what this has to do with anything.
This year I had a lot of time to actually assemble all of my old papercraft designs (since I always test assemble and assemble them myself), so because I had so many good ones, I decided to make a unified papercraft banner for my work. I wanted to join all of my sites together, so it’s clear I am the one and only designer behind all of them. And that my papercrafts are a serious work in which I put a lot of work and pride into as well.
I know times are getting harder, also in economic sense for the middle and lower classes (as always), and I know that I do have a bit of a complicated system for papercraft purchases, since I don’t have direct links for downloads. I know I overcomplicate things, and I know that I overreact sometimes when my things and designs get bluntly stolen or copied, so in all sincerity, thank you for all of you out there that followed me and supported me through this extremely hard, in mental and economic sense, year for me. I hope you can forgive my flaws; I do try to make things in a way so as much of you can be happy with the work I try to provide, and it is hard since everybody has their own taste and sense, but I really do try my hardest. Believe me.
I hope that in the future years to come, you can also support me the way you did, or even more, that would simply be amazing. I do apologize for not making anything special for new year or any freebies, I was simply too busy with “real-life” issues to make anything on the go. --- But do believe me when I say that I am preparing new posts as we speak, thinking of new giveaways for you, assembling new papercrafts (as you can maybe see in the banner picture as well ;)), and much, much more.
To over +10 years of papercrafting and to many more to come. I hope we all have a wonderful new year and keep your heads held high! There is always sunshine at the end of a thunderstorm! Always.

Antyyy's papercrafts - COMMISSIONS
Antyyy’s Papercrafts aka Antyyy (me) has been and always will be open to any kind of papercraft or 3D modeling commissions. To sum up the process, prices and general info, I have listed the basics in here, so do read through if you are interested :)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
What are commissions?
By commission I mean any kind of paid papercraft (template to assemble yourself) or 3D model (unrigged, no bones) that you would like to be made that hasn’t been done before.
The commissions can be whatever you choose, from existing anime characters, to made up fictional persons, animals, buildings, creatures, vehicles, anything and everything.
1 commission means 1 character/thing you would like to be made. If you would like 2 characters, that counts as 2 commissions, since there is double the work.
You can also choose for the papercraft/model to be either made from scratch (meaning I do the model and texture myself), or if it is an existing character, such as anime, I can also make them from existing models with official textures (if they are available, such as Pokemon, etc.).
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
What do you need for a commission?
You need 2 things:
The reference of what you would like to be made and all the details, including what pose, what difficulty, what colors, how big it should be unfolded to (if it is a papercraft), any other specifics you would like to be taken into account for your work, etc. I can make anything from pictures, so all you need is reference pictures, and I can make it into a papercraft/3D. The more detailed info you provide, the better I will be able to make it for you.
And a PayPal account, since I can only accept money deposits from PayPal, and there are no other paying methods except this one. Money can be either in EUR or USD (depending on the daily exchange rate EUR -> USD).
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
What is the price of a commission?
Price is determined by taking into account all the details you wish to be done: difficulty, height, detail, pre-existing edited model base or new model base, pre-existing texture or newly drawn texture, pose, components, etc. So, there is no universal price for a commission, be it papercraft or 3D model. But the prices are always reasonably low.
For loyal commissioners as well as commissioners with more than 1 commission, I also have a discount system, so those commissions always come at an even lower price.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
How does the process of a commission work?
First, you contact me for a commission per private note or message and we discuss what needs to be done and the price.
If the commissioner agrees with everything, it is paid for in advance with a deposit on my PayPal account (which I give you after I agree to take on the commission). After I received the deposit, I start on the work and finish it in the agreed timeframe.
During work, I show you the 1. phase, which is the 3D model (with pose, if there is one) on a 3D preview on Sketchfab, where the model can be inspected in details. If the model needs to be edited, I can edit it some more, and when the commissioner agrees with the way the model looks, I move to the 2. phase, which is texturing (adding color).
After that is done, I show you the textured preview of the model again for inspection, and if it is ok, I move on to unfolding it to the agreed height (if it is a papercraft). After the work is done, I contact the commissioner and provide a link with the files to download.
The 2 phases that get uploaded as previews on Sketchfab are to ensure that the commissioner always gets 100% what she/he wished for, that is why the commissioner is always a part of the work process. I take into account all the wishes and changes, if they need to be done, so the finished work is always to the utmost satisfaction of the commissioners.
3D model commissioners get the 3D model file (in any format they wish) with the textures (if they were made), and papercraft commissioners get the locked PDO file and 5 different PDF files of the pattern (lined and lineless, with and without colored flaps, as well as the edge ID for easier assembly).
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
If you agree with a commission (or pre-made papercraft) and pay for it, you also agree with my policy/terms of use:
The commission you receive, either papercraft or 3D model, will NOT be shared anywhere openly online, in any open group, private group, chat, page, site, forum or anywhere else. You agree, that if you share pictures of the papercraft (or videos, animation, work with the commissioned 3D model), you will provide me: Antyyy – Antyyy’s Papercrafts (https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy), as the designer of the work.
You will not re-sell any of my work, templates or rip/edit/steal any of the designs given to you.
I spend a lot of time on my artworks and do my best to make it 100% the way you want it to be. Please respect my intellectual property as such and treat my work with respect.
