Merry Christmas 2024! by Antyyy - Antyyy's Papercrafts

Thank you for ALL of my amazing followers, supporters, fans, subscribers and overall awesome papercrafters that kept on supporting me through all of these years I have been in the papercraft business.

To each and everybody buying premium papercrafts, ordering commissions, downloading my free papercrafts from my official sites, sharing pictures of the crafts you made, mentioning and commenting nice replies or voicing constructive criticism to make things even better for supporters, joining and participating in quizzes or dynamics, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this a truly successful endeavor.

Thank you also to all of the haters, pirates, re-sellers and nay-sayers, for spreading my hard work and letting people know where to find and support me (:

2024 has been the most successful year for my papercrafts yet, and I’ll certainly continue to do my best to engage the community and get more fellow artists to join this amazing hobby in the future!

When I started all of this over +18 years ago, I would have never thought I would go so far and make so many new papercraft friends or meet other designers and builders that love this artform as much as I do now.

Without all of YOU awesome people, nothing of this would have been possible and I am truly grateful for each and every new papercrafting enthusiast our small community gains!

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Xatu (Pokemon) redesign papercraft

Fakemon are a really nice inspirational source for many papercraft ideas, including this one. This is a redesigned Pokemon of Xatu, but in a more Ainu-esque design, as it turned out. I really like the color combination and it’s a simple OC craft to make.

***************************

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 13 cm and has 3 pages to print. It consists of a basic 3D Xatu model, and his 2D add-on wings, tail, bandana and dress. The hardest part would be the legs, since they have some small parts to glue together, but all in all a pretty simple, basic craft. As with all of my crafts, the PDO is always included, so you can see the 3D model and how to assemble it best all in the file itself.

*** This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDFs and blank, locked PDO file for assembly. – You can buy and download the template here:

I hope you enjoy the OC Pokemon and that people make some of their own versions as well. Pokemon is a vast universe of ideas that can be re-shaped and designed anyway you want :)

Do enjoy and happy crafting~

Cleopanthra (Pokemon/Fakemon) papercraft

Found some inspiration online while viewing some Fakemon concept online, so I made my own OC Pokemon/Fakemon papercraft. The Fakemon is called Cleopanthra and is, as the pictures shows, a simple yet very elegant Egyptian cat concept.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 17 cm and has 4 pages to print out. Really simple to make, with 2D ornamental rings and a 3D simple model with 4 legs, a cat head and a simple 3D scorpion tail. The only smaller parts of this would be the feet, since they are in 3D, else it should be pretty straightforward to make, and you also have the blank PDO included (as with all of my papercrafts), so it’s all there.

Hope you like the Fakemon, really wanted to just have fun with this one and make something new from the Pokemon universe and just enjoy myself. These simple Fakemon are so relaxing and easy to make, I just love them XD

Do enjoy and happy crafting~

Bunigiri (Pokemon/Fakemon) built papercraft

Showed you the template of the Bunigiri Pokemon/Fakemon I made a while back:

And now I can also show you the assembled monster in all its cuteness! Behold, the fluffy snowbunny! :)

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Generally, you can divide the papercraft into 2 parts, the 3D body part and the 2D, 2-sided parts, such as the ears, the berries, arms and tail.

The body is best build from top to bottom, since I do put the flaps in that logic. Build the main body and then build the 2 legs first and glue those on pre-assembled and close with the bottom part with no flaps. A bit fiddly, but you can easily make this with some handy tweezers.

And when you build the 3D body, you get to the 2D parts. Tips for these:

1.       Glue the 2 ears on a wire, since it will be easier to attach them if you make 2 small holes in the head and glue them on like that, since I didn’t and it doesn’t hold that well. Note that if you do use wire, you need to glue them on the inner side with some tape and do that BEFORE you close the 3D body.

2.       The 2D tail can be attached the same way as the ears, with wire, but it definitely needs to be glued on the bottom part so it can be used as additional weight to make the bunny stand (if you don’t put weights inside the legs – if you do put the weights inside before closing, you can glue on the tail wherever you want).

And there you go, a nice little Bunnigiri all for yourself to make :3
