Shiba Inu diorama built papercraft

Already showed you my template of Pochi (:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Shiba-Inu-diorama-papercraft-1150294831

And now comes the assembly and tips for the built, so you can make one yourself.

*********************

The papercraft has many different optional parts, so you make the diorama, the dog house, the bowl, the dog itself and the 2D bones all separately.

For the stand itself, you build it top to bottom, like you would make a 3D box and you close it with the bottom part. Then you take the 4 parts for the fence and *pro-tip: glue them on each other (before cutting them out) by overlapping the parts (you can do this best if you turn them to a light source or place it near a window, so you can partially see-though the paper and know where to glue to together) and only when they are glued together, cut them out. I do this with all of my 2D 2-sided parts I make, since it’s the easiest and most precise way to do this. It’s really easy, so try it out. When you have the fence, knick and fold the bottom part of the fence a bit, so you can glue it on the flat surface of the stand and there you go.

For the bowl, it’s easiest by gluing the 2 sides of the bow together first, and BEFORE you close the bottom, you slide the water part inside the bowl, put glue on the flaps of the water part, and jam it upwards right to the point where the water stands and let dry. Only then, close the bowl and it’s done.

The dog house is also simple to make, a box-pattern craft you do and at the end close with the bottom part. And when the base house is done, glue on the flat root on it.

For the dog itself, best making it top to bottom, since I always pose the flaps that way with my papercrafts.

Start by making the 2 ears and glue together the whole head. Then start making the 4 paws separately, glue on the first few breast parts of the dog on the head, glue the front paws inside and make your way back to the back paws and glue those in. Now, make the 3D tail separately, and in the end, close the butt at the back and just slide the tail inside.

All you got to do is to cut out the 2D bell + collar to glue in around its neck and cut out the 2D bones, and the shiba inu diorama is done.

Shiba Inu diorama papercraft

A little silly diorama I wanted to make, seeing some very cute Shiba Inu dogs online.

At first, I only wanted to make the Shiba, but it kind of evolved into a diorama with all of the stuff around it and this is what came out. Sometimes art evolves itself through my hands, what can I say. And what we have is a typical anime Shiba Inu with a cute, round body, and I gave it a typical Japanese dog name “Pochi”, as you can see on the houses name tag :)

*********************

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 10 cm and has 7 pages to print out with all of the items around. It consists of a simple, chibi 3D Shiba Inu dog with a 2D collar and a 3D bell, a simple 3D dog house, a 3D water bowl, 4 2D bones you can cut out, a 2D 2-sided fence and a 3D round stand with a grass pattern on it.

All in all, it’s a very simple craft to make, since I wanted to make a round and cute pudgy little pupper as a papercraft. The only smaller, fiddlier parts are the dog parts.

Dog monitor sitter built papercraft

As you maybe remember, I have made a series of »monitor sitter« animal papercrafts that are basically papercrafts you can make to put on your flatscreens and have them there for decoration or moral support, if you will:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Dog-monitor-sitter-papercraft-960660974

They fit on any flatscreen on your PC screen, laptop, kindle, tablet, smartphone and even on vases, boxes or jars with slimmer rims, so you can decorate whatever you want with them. But basically, I made them to fit my laptop, so I could wedge them on my own PC :3

And since I have finally had the time to assemble them, here are the preview pictures on how they look like built and some tips for anybody wanting to make them for yourself.

********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Whatever animal you assemble from this series, they are basically made the same way: built from top to bottom.

Build the ears first, then the head, attach the front paws, the body, the 3D tail, the back legs and only after you have all of the body parts, take the inner clamp side, pre-bend it, put glue on the leftover flaps of the body, and slide & glue the clamp part inside the body and close it up that way.

That’s how I made all of my crafts you see and this is probably the simplest way to get this done and assembled.

***

NOTE: The preview pictures made only include 2 of the 4 colors that are included in the pack. You have the light brown, the gray, the black and the red-brownish colors that you can choose or build all 4 of them.

Teacup Dog (Simple version) built papercraft

Built my Teacup Doggo papercraft, since I had some time and wanted to show you how cute it looks up-close and all, so I hope you like it :)

Since it's a “Super simple papercraft” it took me about 3 hours to make it (including cutting out all the pieces), and is overall pretty easy to make. As you can see it consists of many parts that you assemble together separately and then glue together, so I decided to make the teacup first.

You make the cup like you would any simple open craft really, except that I started making it at the top, since you need to glue the “coffee” part on the top and that can be fiddly if you leave it for the end. So, I suggest you make it like me, and start to assemble it at the top, making the edge around the coffee and then the rest of the cup. After that I made the handle and glued it to the cup and you have the cup part ready.

Next, I made the saucers. Those are simple 2D pieces that you glue together, and at the end you put the upper and under part together and glue it, so you get a simple saucer you can put the cut on. Same goes with the spoon, glue upper and under part together, and you have a simple, yet 3D looking, shiny spoon.

And at the end you need to put together the doggo. I started by making each of the paws, since they only have 1 piece to assemble together. Next, I made the tail, which has 4 parts you glue, and at the end you have the head. I started the head at both ears and made my way gluing it together till the bottom, since on the bottom part you only have 1 flat piece to close it, so that’s the simplest way to go here.

And as simple and fast as that, you have yourself a teacup dog! The pieces of the dog can be just put in the coffee mug as that, since they will stand on their own and you can move them around. I only suggest to glue the tail on, since it’s rounded and it won’t stand by itself, but other pieces you can move around as you wish. Or you can put weight in the tail, that way you don’t need to glue it on so it stands, but that’s more advanced papercrafting then. Or, you simply glue them on the way you want it to be and you have it like that. In any case, it’s a fun papercraft starter piece for anybody wanting to put a cute dog together and have just fun with it.

I hope you like it and happy crafting~

Teacup Dog (Simple version) papercraft

Time for another “Super simple papercrafts” papercraft that every one of you can make! Decided to do these cutesy animal papercrafts, since the latest poll I featured was asking what simple papercraft you would like me to do and it was undecided between "cute animals" and "whatever you feel like". So, I wanted to make a kawaii craft, simple and cute, and here is the result. The craft was made as an idea of a similar art deco I saw that was on sale in China, but mine is cuter and more practical XD

.:puppy poke:.
The papercraft itself is unfolded to 18 cm and has 10 pages to print. It consists of a simple 3D dog papercraft, 2 3D separate cutesy paws, a 3D tail, a 3D teacup, a separate 3D handle, a simple 2D 2-sided spoon and a simple 2D 2-sided saucer. Each part is put together separately and then glued together, so it’s simple to make as well as easy and fast.

So, what is this all about? As the name suggests, it is a project of really simple papercrafts I wanted to make. Since I saw that many people are somewhat intimidated of my papercrafts and I do like to make more intricate designs and details in papercrafts, people tend to get scared of the work and difficulty to make them. In order to show that it’s not the case and that I take an effort to make papercrafts available really for any kind of papercrafter, be it beginner, advanced or pro, I decided to address the issue and show that anybody can make papercrafts and especially designed some fun crafts that REALLY ANYBODY CAN MAKE, super simple and really fast. But most of all, fun!

These papercrafts are simple in design regarding how many pieces there are, they are unfolded a bit bigger to make it simpler to assemble them, they have more detached pieces that you just make and glue on, and still look super sweet and adorable so anybody will want to make them.

Card-holding Dogs (Simple Version) built papercraft

Here are my built Card-holding dogs I have designed and made myself :) They come in all of these 5 different designs, as you can see and are super fun and easy to assemble.

The papercrafts, built for my “Super simple papercrafts” series, are all about 18cm tall. And as you can see in the picture, they just don't hold you cards, no, they can hold anything you want. Nail files, rags for cleaning your glasses, cards of any kind, sticky-notes, paper, paperclips, even keys. If the item is small enough and you make the hole big enough at the mouth part, you can put in anything for them to hold. Best thing is that they do not need any kind of weight inside, since they stand like in the picture, without me reinforcing them in any kind of way, just be sure that the item is small or light enough for it to be held inside their mouths.

As already explained in the template post, they have a sepparate 3D head, 2 3D mouth pieces (1 upper and 1 lower), 2 3D ears, a 2D tail, collar and tounge, and 2 3D front paws. Each takes 5 pages to print and each takes max. 2 hours to make. It's super simple and fun, so anybody can make them and enjoy the papercraft you built yourself :)

Info on the template can be found here:

I hope you like them and you make some fun papercrafts to enjoy yourselves in these hard and long days and may they bring you some joy when you display them in your home. Enjoy and happy crafting~

Card-holding Dogs (Simple Version) papercraft

Presenting you the last of my “Super simple papercrafts” and my favourite of the bunch, this is my Card-holding dog toy papercraft :)

The papercraft is based on some simple toys I have seen on the internet, and I though that I could make those out of paper as well and they would do the trick. And they do!

They are epecially designed dogs, that have a small space in between their 2 month pieces. This small gap allows you to use the dogs for holding various small items, such as cards, paper, papercrlips, smaller scissors, anything you can think of really, it's all up to you. And the best part is, that they don't even need any reinforcing on additonal support, since they can hold these items in their mouth without tipping over, since they are very sturdy and boxy.

The papercraft itself is made out of 5 different dogs, each with it's own color of collar and design. All of them are designed the same easy way, out of many 3D boxy pieces, that you glue together on the main body. They have a 3D head, 2 3D mouth pieces (1 upper and 1 lower), 2 3D ears, a 2D tail, collar and tounge, and 2 3D front paws. Each of them is unfolded to be about 18 cm tall and have 5 pages to print each.

I hope you like them and have fun crafting~

*This concludes my “Super simple papercrafts” since these are what I have currently designed, but I may make some more in the future. If you have any other ideas on what simple designed papercrafts you would like to see, you can write me a note or comment bellow.

The wolf named Blue papercraft

My finished Wolf furry papercraft called: The wolf named Blue

The unfold itself is 25 cm tall and the template consists of 5 pages. It's not that hard to glue together really.

The bones in his paws are detached, so you have to build those sepparately. The wolf body is whole, the decorative fur and the pretty collar with his letter B for Blue, are 2D and are just attached as the body is built, so it's simple to make.

All in all I think the color coordination of the fur and the eyes are really pretty and make a real personality which stands out. I spent quite some time making and fugiring out what pose to make. Since I was busy I couldn't make him and texture him till the end, but now, after some months, I have finally picked it up and made it work :)

And, of course, if somebody doesn't know, this is an actual OC (original character) that I have made up, so it's not based on any existing one. Decided to make a wolf character for no reason really, I just think it looked cute that's about it :) Everything, as always, 100% made by me.
