Here are my adorable little fat birds in all of their fat, cute, round glory, assembled and made in the preview :>

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Best way to make any of the daruma birds is to assemble the beak first. Once you have the beak, put it aside and start making the head, from top to bottom. When you have the head fully assembled, simply put glue on the flaps of the pre-made beak and place it from the inside out of the hole.

All that is left is to make the rest of the body, again top to bottom, and at the end you can close it with the last bottom piece. After the 3D model is done, glue on the remaining 2D wings at the right angle on the right place, and the fat borb is done :)

Anybody reading my stuff for a longer time knows I am a huge bird-freak-lover. I am not a cat person, not a dog person, but a BIRD person. They are the cutest ever :) So, amongst other bird-paraphernalia, I also have these super cute daruma bird figures at home (not the one in the picture, but really similar ones). And I think they are super adorable, so I wanted them in papercraft-form as well. So here they are, made into crafts!

         

The papercraft is unfolded to 6 cm and has a page to print. It's a really simple yet cute design with some 3D parts for the body and 2D parts for the wings.

    

Aren't they just adorable? :) Just wanted to share a really simple yet cute design, because my range of papercraft designs can be really anything from simple boxy animals to complicated life-size figurines, from kawaii to really scary, spooky stuff.

Teacup Kitty (Simple version) built papercraft

Built my Teacup Kitty papercraft, since I had some time and wanted to show you how cute it looks up-close and all, so I hope you like it ;)

Since it's a “Super simple papercraft” it took me about 3 hours to make it (including cutting out all the pieces), and is overall pretty easy to make. As you can see it consists of many parts that you assemble together separately and then glue together, so I decided to make the teacup first. 

You make the cup like you would any simple open craft really, except that I started making it at the top, since you need to glue the “coffee” part on the top and that can be fiddly if you leave it for the end. So, I suggest you make it like me, and start to assemble it at the top, making the edge around the coffee and then the rest of the cup. After that I made the handle and glued it to the cup and you have the cup part ready.

Next, I made the saucers. Those are simple 2D pieces that you glue together, and at the end you put the upper and under part together and glue it, so you get a simple saucer you can put the cut on. Same goes with the spoon, glue upper and under part together, and you have a simple, yet 3D looking, shiny spoon.

And at the end you need to put together the cat. I started by making each of the paws, since they only have 1 piece to assemble together. Next, I made the tail, which has 4 parts you glue, and at the end you have the head. I started the head at both ears and made my way gluing it together till the bottom, since on the bottom part you only have 1 flat piece to close it, so that’s the simplest way to go here. And you can add the 2D whiskers just glued on around his mouth as a finishing touch.

And as simple and fast as that, you have yourself a teacup kitty! The pieces of the cat can be just put in the coffee mug as that, since they will stand on their own and you can move them around. I only suggest to glue the tail on, since it’s rounded and it won’t stand by itself, but other pieces you can move around as you wish. Or you can put weight in the tail, that way you don’t need to glue it on so it stands, but that’s more advanced papercrafting then. Or, you simply glue them on the way you want it to be and you have it like that. In any case, it’s a fun papercraft starter piece for anybody wanting to put a cute cat together and have just fun with it.

Teacup Kitty (Simple version) papercraft

Time for another “Super simple papercrafts” papercraft that every one of you can make! Decided to do these cutesy animal papercrafts, since the latest poll I featured was asking what simple papercraft you would like me to do and it was undecided between "cute animals" and "whatever you feel like". So, I wanted to make a kawaii craft, simple and cute, and here is the result. The craft was made as an idea of a similar art deco I saw that was on sale in China, but mine is cuter and more practical XD

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 18 cm and has 10 pages to print. It consists of a simple 3D cat papercraft, 2 3D separate cutesy paws, a 3D tail, a 3D teacup, a separate 3D handle, a simple 2D 2-sided spoon, a simple 2D 2-sided saucer and 2D whiskers you glue on at the end. Each part is put together separately and then glued together, so it’s simple to make as well as easy and fast.

So, what is this all about? As the name suggests, it is a project of really simple papercrafts I wanted to make. Since I saw that many people are somewhat intimidated of my papercrafts and I do like to make more intricate designs and details in papercrafts, people tend to get scared of the work and difficulty to make them. In order to show that it’s not the case and that I take an effort to make papercrafts available really for any kind of papercrafter, be it beginner, advanced or pro, I decided to address the issue and show that anybody can make papercrafts and especially designed some fun crafts that REALLY ANYBODY CAN MAKE, super simple and really fast. But most of all, fun!

These papercrafts are simple in design regarding how many pieces there are, they are unfolded a bit bigger to make it simpler to assemble them, they have more detached pieces that you just make and glue on, and still look super sweet and adorable so anybody will want to make them.
