*As with any of my papercraft templates, the blank PDO is always included in these files, so you help yourself with the 3D preview in Pepakura to assemble it, but I like to post a bit of experience I have with building papercrafts to maybe make things easier for less experienced papercrafters and share ideas on how to make it simpler :)
ASSEMBLY TIPS:
As with all of these humanoid papercrafts, it can be divided into smaller separate parts you can built and then put together, to make it easier to assemble. So, you can divide it into: the head with the neck and hair, The torso with the upper arms, the hands and underarms, the 2 skirts, the legs and the 2 2-sided fans.
As with all of my papercrafts, I always start with the head. Build the face and the head around + the neck and then glue the front hair bangs on the face part. After, build the whole back part of the hair and then assemble the 3D hair tail with the blue orb separate, and glue it on the head before you starting closing it up with the long strains of hair. Once you take care of that, glue each long hair strain on there, one at a time, and close it with the last part (anyone will do). All that is left to do is to glue the mics (ears, hair decoration on).
When you finish the whole head, it’s time to start the torso. The upper neck part has 3 parts you need to make first. Assemble the neck decorations BUT don’t close them at the back, so you are able to slide them on the neck at the end. Put the parts aside, and assemble the first upper part of the torso to about half of the breasts. Then glue on the upper arms on there, and then slide in the folds of the heads neck part, so you are able to glue it in nicely and additionally reinforce it with rolled-up leftover paper from the cut-out, to make it sturdier and really holding it together. Once the neck is glued on the torso part, slide the neck decorations on there, glue the back parts together and build the remaining parts of the torso on there till you get to the waist.
Now you can start assembling the 2 hands, the 2 fans and the 2 sleeves of the arms, all separately. Once you have all 3 arm parts, you can simply glue the hands inside the sleeves and then the sleeves on the torso part with the head you did before. Since the parts have flaps and can just be glued on like that, you can make it really easy to assemble that way AND you can adjust the angle of how the arms are, so you really get it right. And when the glue dries really good on there, you can glue on the fans inside her hands as well.
Next you have 2 layers of her dress. Build each one separately, by starting to pre-bend the parts of the frills as indicated in the PDO file. Takes a bit of time, but if you really take the time, bend it with a lineal really neatly and glue it precisely, you get a really wonderful frilly girly dress that looks the same as in the anime. So, important to take time in this step.
Leave the dresses for now and glue the last part, the legs, together. Start at the bottom and make your way up. Again, you can divide the leg part into the boots and into the thighs with the panties, to make it simpler. Build each of those 4 parts and glue them together at the knee part with the flaps. And before anything, fill up the boots with some weights here, to make her really stand firmly (*Pro-tip: I always suggest smaller pebbles, since they are small enough to fit and heavy enough to help with the weight as well, without rupturing the paper itself).
Now, all that is left to do is glue the torso, the 2 dresses and the legs all together with the flaps in the waist part of each part. Be sure to first glue on the 2 dresses and lastly the legs, because then you can adjust the angle again to make sure it can stand firmly.
And voilà, done :)
