Catra (She-Ra - Princess of Power) papercraft

The second main character I wanted to do for the celebration of the 4. season of "She-Ra and the Princess of Paower" and, hopefully, season 5 coming soon, I made her former best friend and biggest enemy at the same time, "Catra".

Since I saw the new season, I made Catra in the form of how she looks now, more brown-up and with a different look. The papercraft is 24 cm tall, so she is the same height as She-Ra, so they go together as a pair :) She was made in a kind of defiant rebel pose that she always has, so I think it looks natural to her character. On her 5 pages template you got her 3D body, with 3D hair and 3D tail, as well as some of her 2D, 2-sided accessories, such as the face mask, so it looks nice and fairly easy to make. As with She-Ra, she has 3D fingers, so those are a bit of a drag to make, as with all of the human crafts, but the end result looks amazing :D

I really hope you like her and I do hope I got some of you new watchers excited for giving this cartoon a try :) and making you She-Ra fans as well XD

She-Ra (She-Ra - Princess of Power) papercraft

To celebrate the new season 4 of "She-Ra and the Princess of Paower" and, hopefully, season 5 coming soon, I wanted to do a small tribute of the new cartoon that I loved watching and still am XD So, I had to do the main 2 characters of the show. And today I present you the one and only, thankfully re-made from the 70's look, She-Ra!

The papercraft is about 35cm tall, so the girl herself is about 24 cm tall. She is in her standard transformation pose, which I find the coolest. With her 3D sword proudly held in the air she really exuberates a kind of strong and proud aura, that’s why I love the new series. Also, the clothes and the overall look is sooo muuuchhh better than the old She-Ra and He-Man thing, which I really hated and never watched. She has a 3D body with 3D hair, a 3D sword and her accessories and mics in 2D 2-sided, so the overall look is amazing from any angle. Again, the fiddly parts being the 5 fingers she has, maybe the sword, although it is pretty simply modeled together, else it’s fairly easy to make for a human papercraft.

I really hope you like her; the second character will also be released soon so you’ll have both for comparison :)

Ultimate Madoka (Madoka Magica) papercraft

May I present to you the probably most beautiful papercraft I have done this year: "Ultimate Madoka" or some call her "Goddess Madoka", the main character from the anime "Madoka Magica"! I have wanted to do this for of her forEVER but as always, the day has 24 hours, yada yada XD no time. BUT I had to do her at some point and modeling her 2 months back, I couldn't wait to release her! Just look at this beauty, what do you guys think of her?

Madoka's Soul Gem

The papercraft unfold itself is 39 cm tall all in all, so I would say Madoka herself is about 20 cm fron feet till head, not counting in the wings. She has a 3D body with 3D hair and a big 3D skirt. She also has 3D bows in her hair, so all you do is build them and glue them on her already built hair, nice and simple, and at the end it looks amazing. The hair being all 3D is probably the fiddliest part to make, but adds so much at the end with the look, it really pays off making it.

Her wings on the back as well as on the feet are 2D, since I wanted them to be simple, yet effective. So all you got to do is glue them together on the flower wire I use, as said numerous times in my builds, since it does so much for the papercrafts and makes the parts movable, and glue them on the feet and back, and you have yourself a winged Ultimate Madoka :)

All of the main parts also have 2-sided parts (like the sleeves, the ribbons on her dress, etc.) so it really gives off a stong visual effect no matter from which angle you look at her. She has to be a beauty through and through.

Another feature is the stand. Although I have made the papercraft model to be floating in the air with wire or rope (and I really do suggest you do it that way for the effect), you can also put her on the 3D stand. Her back part of the dress as well as her feet are tucked in the stand, so she can be put on there and you got her beautifully accessorising your display in any room you want :D
