Hisuian Zorua (Pokemon Legends: Arceus) built papercraft

Some time ago I made a Hisuian Zorua papercraft, when the game wasn't even released yet. And now, I finally got around and had the time to make it, so you can view the assembled papercraft here.

The papercraft is 21 cm tall and is actually simple to make, since most of the “complicated” strains of hair that it has that are normally 3D, I made with 2D 2-sided pieces. So, it looks original as the model in the game + it’s really fast and easy to build.

As with all of my papercraft, I started with the head. I first made the 2 separate ears and left them for later. Then I started to make the 2D strain of hair on his head, attaching the piece then on the 3D top of the head on both sides (since it’s 2-sided, so it looks good from both sides). When I got the 2D + 3D top hair on the head built, I started to make the head, and when it was finished, I also attached the ears and the 4 stubs, 2 on each cheek side. Once the whole head is finished, make your way to the neck part. Here, when you come to the 2-sided part of its mane at the back, attach it on the 3D part from both sides, so the color is visible and not the flaps (as you did on the hair). When that is done, I first made all 4 legs separately, so I could just attach them on like that, since I find it easier to close it at the end with either the tail or the rear. You glue those body parts on the mane, 1 at a time, and attach the pre-made legs on at the right time, making your way to the back. Once there, I closed the rear (this part is probably going to be the trickiest of the assembly, but just follow the PDO file + take your time and you should be fine) and decided to make the tail last, closing it with the last 2D 2-sided tail strain, nice and easy. And it should be finished.

Pro-tip: The papercraft is quite top/head-heavy, so be sure that when you close it either with the tail or the rear parts, you put some weights inside the back-legs to support it that way. I always use smaller pebbles, that you can just throw in at the last few pieces of closing it up, and a few of those should be enough to make it stand that way.
