CC chibi (Code Geass) built papercraft

Since I released the pattern and love the character so much, I also assembled here myself. So here are the basic instructions and tips I can give.

As with all my crafts, I always start with the head. Built the face first (with the neck) and then make your way to the back of the head. And once you get to the back, you’ll see that it’s open there, which makes a great help for gluing the last longer hairs on there, without the hole being even visible at the end (since it’s covered up with the long green hair of hers). The head is sturdy and doesn’t have any problems standing even with the hole, so no worries there, it’s just to make the template easy-peasy to assemble. And after that, all there is left are the 2 2D 2-sided ears you glue on the right sports and the head done.

Moving on, I made the 2 arms separately first. No real problems here, just assemble it following the edge ID and logic, and once both of them are made, glue on the 2D 2-sided straps on the 6 edges of the arms.

When the arms are done, built the first half of the torso with the collar. When you got that, glue the arms on the body and then slide the neck part (of the built head) inside the hole and glue it up from the inside. Let that part dry good, and when it does, use curled-up waste paper to bulk up that tiny neck of hers to prevent it from snapping (it’s a chibi papercraft, so the necks are always the most difficult part, since they are so small and the head disproportionately big).

After that, built the remaining torso part and then move on to the legs. Build them all the way to the end of the pants with those bell-shaped ends. – Pro tip: since we are dealing with a chibi papercraft, always be sure to reinforce and straighten the parts that are most vulnerable, like we did with the neck. - And since after you attach the head on the jacket, it becomes difficult to build it with the head facing upwards, so turn the papercraft upside-down and built the remaining parts till the last like that. That way the head will not weight down the body and you’ll have a simpler assembly.

All that is left is to make the last parts of the legs, which are the boots. Since we have those bell-shaped ends of the trousers, you can divide the assembly process to make it easier and so that you can fill in those legs at the end to make it stand sturdier. Build the separate boots and before gluing them on the trousers, you can fill them with weights (I always use small pebbles, since they fit inside every small hole and are heavy enough to make it stand. Of course, you don’t need to add weights in, you can do that just as a precaution, since the papercraft stands without help as well).

Glue both boots at the same time, applying glue on the end flaps of the boots, and showing them inside the bell-bottom trousers, adjusting the right angle to make the whole papercraft stand. And after this dries, apply the last 2D 2-sided belts on, and the papercraft is finished.

There she is, a cute little 21 cm tall CC all for yourself to have :)

CC chibi (Code Geass) papercraft

A little stroll in the anime past with this papercraft, since the »Code Geass« anime was firstly shown quite a while back. Still, new movies are being released in the future along with some extras of the series, so I thought I would live it up a little and make my favorite cutie from the show »CC« or »C2« or the »Immortal witch« ;) One of the saddest characters in anime and the one with my favorite quote I still remember “Do you know why snow is white? – Because it is so old it has forgotten what color it was…” Damn beautiful ;_; watch it if you don’t know it yet.

The papercraft is unfolded to 21 cm and consists of 8 pages of patterns to print. It is made out of an adorable CC 3D model, with 2-sided hair for a better view (with a hole in the head where the hair is, so it’s super simple to assemble and the hole is not visible when assembled). Her extras, such as the belts and belts on her sleeves, are simple 2D 2-sided parts that are just glued on like that. And most important of all, no 3D fingers to put together, since she has those simple sleeves to make only XD All in all, really simple to assemble.

Along with that, I have also updated my unfold patterns to be even more logical on how and what parts to put together, so the templates come not only with the edge ID PDF files to see how to assemble them, but also with written notes and clues on what parts go together, written besides the relevant parts in the templates. Even simpler assembly, and a simple 3D chibi pattern for easy gluing together.

I have also assembled the papercraft myself, so you'll be able to see the built version of her soon as well ;)

Enjoy and happy crafting~

Halloween dead bunny built papercraft

I know Halloween is over, but I think this craft is really unique (and maybe it fits into the whole Easter theme a bit, since it’s a bunny… XD), so I had to make it for myself to hang on the wall XD

It’s my Halloween dead bunny or suicide bunny wall mount papercraft. The template itself is about 25 cm big, so it’s quite easy to assemble. There is the separate bunny papercraft, and the separate carrot papercraft. I made the bunny first, starting at the ears and slowly gluing all the parts together, bit by bit, part by part, so there isn’t much to talk about the assembly. Maybe only that the tail at the back can be a bit fiddly, since it has small pieces, so I suggest you build the tail separately from the body, and when you get to the legs, glue it on then. And at the end, close the whole body at the 2 legs with the soles in the end.

For the carrot, you make the carrot first and close it at the part where it touches the bunny. After I closed it, I cut out the 2D 2-sided greens and glue them on the end of the carrot (I actually made small incisions in the carrot end with a scalpel and glued the greens inside the carrot, so the edges are invisible and it looks neater).

The real gimmick of the papercraft is actually that the carrot can be removed! I really loved the trick, and I saw a few uses of magnets in papercrafts online, so I had to try it myself. So, for this, I used 2 small magnets and glued one on the inside of the bunny’s tummy (where the blood is) and the other one on the inside of the carrot, where it touches the body. And it works great, as you can see! Really love the trick, so I suggest to use this trick when you get the chance as well (small magnets are mostly cheap and can be found in any paper supply shop). It’s really an interactive thing, and you can decide to put the carrot on or off, however you feel like that day XD I’ll be sure to use this trick on some of my next papercrafts as well, it’s so much fun.

The papercraft is meant to be hanged on a wall, so I definitely suggest you do that. As you can see in the pictures, I made them on my table with the bunny laying down (black background) and hanged on the wall on a small pin at the back (white background).

The most important part (again):

No bunnies or other animals were harmed in the making of this papercraft!

It is meant as a funny Halloween prep and in no way does it represent any kind of glorification of violence towards any kind of animal or living being! I love bunnies very much, so hopefully no hard feelings for me doing this Halloween gimmick.

The template and more in-dept info about it and how to buy it (just write me a private note) as well as the price can be found here:

I hope you like it and happy crafting~
