Wooloo (Pokemon Sw/Sh) papercraft commission

Time for some commission reveals so you know what I'm up to and what can be done with papercrafts. Today it's another Pokemon commission, of the Wooloo from the original Sword/Shield game with the original textures.

Pokemon Sword and Shield - Wooloo Icon
As you can see the papercraft comes with the normal and shiny colors, each having 6 pages to print. The craft is unfolded to 14 cm and should be fairly easy to make. I did the papercraft as an attached 3D model, with sepparate 3D ears and 3D horns, to make it simple to build. It is very fluffy in the original, so it's hard to low-poly the whole fluffy wool thing without it looking like boxy crap, but I think it looks resonably fluffy XD

This one has self-made textures made by me and is shaded a bit, more than the original ones in the game, which I always dislike, because it doesn't look as 3D as it could (since the models and the texture in the game are shaded via layers, space, lighting, etc.). And of course the proportions are not the same, because this one is my self-made model I have made before the game has even been released yet, so I would make it only based on the screenshots they released then. But it's an original fluffy craft, so I love it non-the-less ;)

Hope you like the commission. Comments and feedback are always welcome, so anything you have to say or would like to suggest anything, just write bellow or on any of my social media sites.

Enjoy and happy crafting~

Alola Sandslash (Pokemon) FREE papercraft download

Another FREE Friday is upon us, and this time I am releasing my Alolan Sandshash Pokemon papercraft :)

The papercraft itself is about 15 cm tall and has 3 pages to print. It's the Alolan Sandslash version, which is an ice-type Pokemon. The whole papercraft is made out of an attached 3D model, so just follow the edge ID file and you'll make it in no time ;) Should be relatively simple to make.

Note that the papercraft is made by me back in 2016, when the whole Pokemon of "Sun & Moon" weren't even released yet, so it might be a tad different, since it's my version of this Pokemon.

If you would still like to download the papercraft, you can download it here (along with all of my other FREE papercrafts):

Pidgey (Pokemon) papercraft

Next Pokemon in the long line of Pokemon yet to come XD it's Pidgey!!! Love pidgeons, love Pidgey, what else can I say :D

The papercraft is unfolded at 20  cm. It comes with a normal and shiny texture, each having 11 pages to print. The whole body is attached and 3D, some feathers, like the fluff feathers on the chest, the feather crown on the head and the extra ones on the wings are 2D and are just attached later on as the craft is already built. That's because it's easy to make. Wings might be somewhat fiddly to make, since they take longer to make, because they are 3D and spread, else should be same easy level of assembly as other Pokemon crafts.

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

I hope you like the it and the design idea behind it as well, stay tuned for more and happy crafting~

Furfrou - basic haircut - (Pokemon) papercraft

a

Still have to post a lot of the remaining papercraft Pokemon and all the crafting work that backlagged, so better continue with the posts. Today I wanted to present you another Pokemon papercraft that hasn't been made yet, so I present you Furfrou!

676 Furfrou 676 Furfrou 676 Furfrou
Loved this Pokemon ever since it came out in the first 3D-ish pokemon game X/Y, and I loved all the haitstyles it can get XD Needless to say that I had all the hairstyles since I am a Pokemon collector :D I can't make all 10 different hairstyles of the Pokemon, but I can do the basic Furfrou form that you all know and like. Hope you like the poodle-doggo as much as me XD

The papercraft itself is unfolded at 24 cm and has 9 pages to print. It comes with the normal and shiny textures, as you can see in the preview. It is made from a attached 3D model, so simple to make if you follow the edge ID numbers what to put together. It also has fur on all his 4 paws in 2D, so those are then just glued together and put on at the end, so it looks nice and it's simple enough to make. The craft has a lot of fur, obvisouly because the Pokemon in fluffy itself, so those can take some time to make, but it shouldn't be hard to make, probably a 6/10. And of course it stands 100%, since all 4 paws are standing on the ground, since I made it in it's idle pose.

Chiisai Kyubey / Small Kyubey (Magia Record) papercraft

Since I have finished watching one of my fav anime this winter season, and there has been a confirmed 2. season to come!! (hopefully soon, since the release date is not yet known), I would like to interrupt the Pokemon papercrafts to bring you my very own "Kyubey" from the spin-off anime "Magia Record", the continuing of the 1. series "Puella Mahou Madoka Magica"! Love the series, love the characters and absolutely love the unique animation style and drawing.

Run Kyuubey, Run!
Especially, since I already made a normal Kyubey in the past, and of course I had to delete it because it was unposed, unedited crap, I had to redeem myself and make a new Kyubey papercraft in the future. And what better timing than with the new spin-off anime "Magia Record" that even has a cuter Kyubey version in it than the original series! It is called "Chiisai Kyubey" or "Small Kyubey" as the main character of the series calles it, and the chibi version is absolute sugar! I know, I know, Kyubey is evil incarnated, the devil himself, pure darkness in it's cute form, BUT you just can't get away from the super cute adorable pumpkin face, it's just adorable XD So be wary of it, although it's super cute, it's pure evil that stares at you through those pink cutish eyes.

In any case, made the papercraft model myself, of course, posed, textured and unfolded it. The papercraft in unfolded at a height of about 24 cm, since half of the body size is it's head and the long ears + it's the life-size height from the anime! The whole papercraft template has 9 pages to print. If you made any animal papercraft before, this should be simmilar easy to make. It's all one joined 3D model, so follow the logic of the unfolded template and the edge ID numbers of the PDF file I send along with the normal templates, and you'll be there in no time.

The whole Kyubey craft is constructed with the original proportions of the anime chatacters, so it has a very small body compared to the head and the long fluffy tail. The bottom part of the tail as well as all his 4 paws are lying flat on the surface, so it stands without any problems, trust me, made a physics test and it holds it's weight 100%. For those of you who want to be sure just in case or if you want to make it sturdier, you can always fill it out or add weights. I would definetly also reinforce the neck and tail part from the inside (fill out the body with paper OR tape it down from the inside), since if you move it to much the head might cause some problems because of the small body, same goes with the tail at the bottom part.

I do hope I have redeemed myself with this papercraft and that the old crappy design will be forgotten and you can now have the new cuter version of it.

Hope you like it as much as I do and you can't wait for the 2. season to start as well! Happy crafting~

UPDATE:

I have assembled the Kyubey papercraft myself, so if you want to see how it looks like bluit, you can find it here:

Cursola (Pokemon Sword/Shield) papercraft

Next I want to present you a very special Pokemon from the new Sword/Shield Galar generation, it's Cursola. I wanted to make this Pokemon no matter what, because I think it's a super cool design choice and I love the primary form of Corsola, new and old, as well, and I love it that they gave it a evolution line now. I like the idea to make people aware (with the help of Pokemon) that the corals and coral reefs around the world are dying, and I think it should help a person or 2 to think about these important things. That's why I wanted to showcase this Pokemon today and release it as a papercraft.

Cursola
Now this papercraft is very special. Why? Well, if you look at the Pokemon design itself, the round head/sphere inside the body is floating and the body is transparent and ghost-like. Of course you can make that with a 3D model when you animate and rig it, so you add transparent layers and glowing and such. But how the hell would you do something like this as a papercraft, where everything is more or less texture static? Well, I have though about the design and how to make it original for quite some time, and I think I have the perfect solution for it, and it's easier to make than any other option.

How, you ask? Simple. I have made a 3D body of Cursola, left the face part of it as holes, so you can see inside the body, and made the sepparate face-sphere in the inside, WHICH you have to hang inside the body on a wire or thread, so it can "float" inside. This is really the best solution I can think of, because it's easy to make (you just build the outer body as a normal 3D papercraft, and at the middle of the build, you hang the face-sphere in the middle so it floats, and build the remaining other half of the body. Simple and effective. This also allows the sphere in the middle to sway around, so it really looks like a ghostly animated orb! I really think it's a clever design, and I can't wait to build this myself as well!

Else the papercraft template itself is 40 cm tall, since I wanted it to be bigger and therefor easier to build. It has 20 pages to print, and comes with the normal and shiny texture to assemble, as you can see at the bottom of the preview. All in all, it should not be hard to make, all the coral parts are 3D and you simply follow the edge ID files to make it. Maybe a bit time-consuming, because of all the coral parts, but not hard to make. And it looks as original as you can make it with normal printed paper. (Maybe the bravest out there could actually make the outer body with transparent thin foil, that would be even more original, but it would be hard to glue it together - maybe as an idea or tip for the future...).
