Slowpoke Poke ball (Pokemon) papercraft

Decided to do a whole bunch of different life-size box Poke ball designs and I made a LOT, since I had so much fun making them XD so from now on, you’ll get to probably see at least 1-2 Poke ball papercrafts posted on my site for a long, long time.

They range from the normal in-game designs, to exclusive Pokemon designs I made up as OC’s. They are all relative in height, about 11 cm (not including the stand and the ears and accessories, if they have any), so they all fit together as a bunch. I made them as life-size Pokemon-themed boxes, since they can open and close like a box with a lid and they all have optional double-sided print pages for a colored inner side, so the box looks neater when built. The 2 buttons in the front are separate 3D parts glued on the front. They also all have optional stands, so you can place them inside and they don’t roll away.

*Note that all of them are more challenging to make, are more detailed and have smaller or thinner parts, so I do not recommend any of them to beginners. I think these are best suited for intermediate and experienced papercrafters, but who am I to say what you can and cannot do (;

This is the OC Slowpoke Poke ball design papercraft box. It is unfolded to 17 cm (12 cm of the actual Poke ball height) and has 4 pages to print out (all 4 of them being double-sided). It comes with the normal and Galar skin, as seen in the preview.

The preview picture shows the unfolded Poke ball template that stands apart a bit, so it is easier to assemble with the inner part shown, but you can also see the closed preview and how it looks, just so you know how it looks closed.

Sailor Pluto (Sailor Moon) papercraft

All the way back in 2014-2015 I released my first Sailor Moon papercrafts. Since my skills kept developing, these older designs weren’t up to par with my current work, so I removed them altogether. But ever since I did, I wanted to make new ones. And it took all the way to now to make them in a way to reflect my personal papercraft journey and how far I have come with my skills, and doing the franchise justice. I finally took the time to completely remake those ones and make a whole new shiny and fresh batch of Sailor Senshi from 0. So, here they are.

****************************

This is the papercraft of Eternal Sailor Pluto, complete with all of the original details and parts from the anime/movie.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 30 cm (28 cm without her staff) and has 8 pages to print.

It includes a base 3D model of Setusna, with 2 2D double-print page hair, a 2-layered 2D skirt, smaller 2D accessories, optional 2D or 3D sleeves, optional 2D or 3D cuffs, optional 2D or 3D hands, her optional 2D or 3D staff, and a 3D stand with her symbol.

It is also better to fill out the legs with additional weights, so she can stand better (or optionally glue in magnets inside the boots and on the inner side of the stand), because of the high heel.

*Some of the pieces are fiddly and smaller, such as the boots and the hands, so I would not recommend it to people with no experience in human papercraft assemblies.

***************

All of the Eternal Sailor Senshin are relative in height, taking into account their size in the anime, so all of the 10 released Sailor Moon papercraft fit together in size.

Enjoy and happy crafting~

Bocchi the Rock built papercraft

Already posted my Hitori Bocchi papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Bocchi-the-Rock-papercraft-948527317

And now it’s time to assemble her and give you some pro-tips on how to make life simpler for yourself when doing these. Let’s go.

**********************************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, you can divide the assembly into separate parts: the head with the hair, the 2 arms, the pink pullover with the sleeves, the skirt, the legs, and the separate electric gutar.

If we start with the head, you assemble the face and neck first. Then you glue on the front hair and lastly close it with the back hair. After this, you can glue on the 2D head parts.

Next, you can separately build the 2 arms, with either the 2D or 3D hands (note that I did the preview pics with the 2D version of the hands). When you got those, set them aside and start gluing together the 2 pink sleeves and glue those together. When you have all these parts, start gluing on the pink pullover at the neck, and when you come to the sleeve parts, glue those on. When you have the whole pullover with the sleeves done, only then press the pre-made hands inside to glue them on the right angle. And the torso is done.

Next, you make the skirt part. The only part that needs pre-bending is the last skirt part, so put those folds in there to make it look nice a frilly and then glue the skirt together with the inner torso part.

Next step is to make the legs. You do this part by assembling the legs from bottom to top and finish with the buttocks part. This means, build the shoes first glue the leg from there upwards till you come to the butt.

And before anything, fill up the legs with some weights here, to make her really stand firmly (*Pro-tip: I always suggest smaller pebbles, since they are small enough to fit and heavy enough to help with the weight as well, without rupturing the paper itself).

All that is left is to do is to glue the guitar together like you would a box and glue all of these parts on. Glue the skirt inside the torso first and then glue on the legs part inside the skirt, making sure to glue them at the right angle, so the figure can stand nicely. Glue on the guitar with the black strap at the right angle as well: And it's finished!
