Winter Pikachu diorama papercraft

Some new illustrations of stylized winter Pokemon and merch of it came out, so what better time than December to make my own version of them into papercrafts!

Inspirations come in many shapes (mostly merch-driven with me XD not gonna lie).

***********************

The papercraft is unfolded to 23 cm and has 11 pages to print out. It consists of a base stylized 3D Pikachu model with an optional hat, scarf and a big snowball, a snowman Pikachu with an optional scarf, and a small diorama stand with a simple pine in the background.

The hat, scarfs and Pikachu tail are all 2D flap pieces, so the only 3D parts are the Snowman, the Pikachu and the trunk of the stand and the stand itself.

I wanted to make it a simple wintery-wonderland theme, not so Christmassy, more broad really.

Pokepark Kanto Pikachu papercraft

As you maybe heard there is a new “Pokepark Kanto” park opening in February 2026 in Japan. And for this occasion, as they always do, they decided on 2 mascots for the park, those being Pikachu and Eevee in really cute and adorable outfits for the park. Aaaand because you can never have too much Pokemon papercrafts out there, I decided to make them both into a papercraft (:

***********************

The papercraft is unfolded to 17 cm and has 4 pages to print out. It consists of a base stylized 3D Pikachu model, with various add-ons. It has a simple hat, a lot of 2D flowers and bows, his sleeveless coat and the tail is also 2D and 2-sided.

For the assembly, I do suggest adding wire inside the 2 tail sides, so you can actually pose and move the tail in the end. And it will hold upward better as well.

*Both Pokepark Kanto Pikachu and Pokepark Kanto Eevee are made the same height, so they fit together as a pair.
