ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, you can divide the assembly into separate parts: the head with the neck, the arms, the upper torso with the dress, the legs with the butt, and the various 2D add-ons.

If we start with the head, you assemble the face and neck first. Then you glue on the front hair, the back hair and you close. Head, done.

Next you can separately build the 2 hands, with either the 2D or 3D version (note that I did the preview pics with the 2D version of the hands). When you got those, set them aside and start gluing together the first few rows of the torso. You glue now this on the head and neck part you did before, then glue on the 2 sleeves inside the arm holes and build the dress to the end. Only when this is done, glue in the 2 hands at the right angle inside and that’s done.

Next step is to make the legs. You do this part by assembling the legs from bottom to top and finish with the buttocks part. Then glue all the leg part inside the dress part again and the 3D figure is done. I also suggest adding some weights inside the boots to make her stand nicely.

All that is left is to add the add-ons, the bows, the simple 3D crown, the bob-om guy in her hands in the right places. And it is done.

Got into some Super Mario lore basically, and found some not-so-well-known and more-known OC characters from the universe. So, I decided to make some of them into papercrafts, the ones I liked really, and make them the way I think they look cutest.

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 27 cm and has 5 pages to print out. The Bob-ombette (or princess Bob-ombette aka Bumuhei-hime) is made as a basic 3D model, with simple separate 2D front and back hair, optional 3D or 2D hands and a windup key, some simple 2D flat add-ons (the bomb fuse, the ears), her 3D crown, and a simple 3D bob-omb in her hands as an optional piece.

She stands with the bent pose, but the feet really need to be additionally filled with weights so she holds upright and doesn’t tilt over.

The fiddly part would be the 3D hands and the 3D windup key option that is just glued on the back as a whole part.
