Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations online, so I got the inspiration to make one of my fav Mega evolutions forms, Mega Absol as a sexy cute guy XD and here he is! (WE NEED MORE MALE PAPERCRAFTS PEOPLE, start demanding and making some cute guys as well ;) so def something for the ladies here that I did).

I went for a more K-pop-ish style but still dramatic with his cute wings and the scythe in his hands, it really looks like a real anime character out of a movie :D

             

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 23 cm with 5 pages to print. It consists of a 3D model of the humanoid Absol OC, as well as a lot of 2D 2-sided add-ons such as various wings, his belts and his simple 3D scythe.

The papercraft does have 2 legs to stand on, so along with the scythe in his hands that is also touching the ground, it should not have any problems standing, even with the add-on wings on his back. The fiddliest part would be the head and the fingers/hands, else it’s just a bit longer to make, since he has all those add-ons, but nothing too hard to make. I would give it a 6/10.

Crono (Chrono Trigger) papercraft

I was asking around what papercrafts to make and what people would like to see made, and one of the ideas was Crono from the Chrono Trigger game series. Love the Chrono games and the characters are pretty well made and noticeable, so I decided to make the main hero of the game.

           

The papercraft is unfolded to 22 cm and has 5 pages to print. The template consists of a 3D model of Crono, some 2D separate accessories such as his scarf, his head scarf, the bag, as well as his 3D katana sword.

The most annoying part to make would be the hair, since it’s all 3D with a lot of spikes, so that always takes time and it’s best to pre-fold some pieces that are inverted as well, so you have to figure out what pieces those are. But you always get the blank PDO included with the purcahse, so it shouldn't be a problem figuring that out, just takes a bit more time to assemble. Else, it's a pretty basic humanoid papercraft really.

Give the series some love, since some of them actually got a PC remake with more detailed models and the story is always so epic! Do enjoy and happy crafting~
