Pusheen (New Version) built papercraft

Already released the 2 new versions of Pusheen I made as a papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Pusheen-New-Version-papercraft-1338228684

And now here is the assembled preview version as well! Let me give you some tips on how to assemble it as well!

***********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, start from top to bottom. Make the 2 ears separately first, make the 3D tail and glue together the front and back parts of the 4 whiskers and set those aside.

Now you make Pusheen by getting those 2 ears and build the top parts around it first and continue to glue the parts from the top to the middle part. At this point, you can add the 3D tail on and build the remaining bottom stripes on it till you have only the bottom part with no flaps left. You can then simply close the figure by gluing the bottom on it, add the 4 whiskers at the right parts, add the 2D feet and glue them on the bottom, and it’s done.

Since Pusheen is laying down, you don’t need to fill it out or anything.

*NOTE: I only did the laying down version of 2 versions that are included in the template. The purchase includes this laying down and the sitting papercraft versions.

Pusheen (New Version) papercraft

Everybody knows Pusheen! What am I here to explain to you who this adorable little lady is (: (maybe you didn’t know that, but yeah, Pusheen is a girl). However, maybe I can explain a bit on why I am making a new version of her.

10 years ago, 2016, I made my first Pusheen version when I started papercraft designs (It is still online on my Patreon page to download for FREE, with all the other free stuff I got on there). But, needless to say, my designing skills have massively improved since I started all of this, and the old designs are really cringe and weird, and I removed almost all of them, except a few free ones that are still online. So, I wanted to make a new one, that is really simple to assemble, and really adorable, like the mascot we all know and love.

And here she is in all of her cute, fat, kitty glory! :3

***********************

The papercraft is unfolded to 13 cm and has 5 pages to print out. It has both versions included, a sitting and lying down Pusheen papercraft, since the mascot is known in both poses and I couldn’t decide which one to make XD

Both Pusheens are 3D models, so all of their body is a 3D unfold, including the tail and ears. And then you have 2D whiskers and paws to put on at the end.

Bananya and Baby Sweet built papercraft

Already showed you my newest Bananya & Baby Sweet papercraft I made for the new mini-series and now here is the assembly along with building tips, so let's go-go!

*********************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

These bananyas are best built in 2 separate parts, the lower banana part and the upper cat part with the peels.

Start by making the banana bottom and glue that best from bottom to top, so you have the open top at the end to make it easier.

Set that aside and make the cat part. Best to make this is to build the 2 ears first, since they are the smallest parts, and then glue on the head around the 2 ears to the belly part. There, you glue on the simple 2D 2-sided banana peels on the inside of the cat body.

Since you have the 2 parts, you just put glue on the flaps of the banana bottom you made and slide that inside the cat body at the right angle and let the glue set. And at the end, you can add the 2D paws and the star on.

You also have the optional 2 stands for them you can also assemble to put them inside, and it doesn’t need any extra weight inside to hold, but I still suggest putting some inside when you close the stand, just to make it hold the big bananya better.

And that’s about it. A pretty simple craft and both of them are made the same way. The only small part are the little cat ears, so take time doing those and you are good to go.

Bananya and Baby Sweet papercraft

As you maybe know, waaay back I released the first few Bananya characters from the anime as simple crafts I made to assemble for FREE:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Bananya-Bananya-built-papercraft-849359505

But because they are simple versions and stuff I made waaaay back, I decided to make a new version of Bananya and her new friend, since a new short anime came out. I wanted it to look more like the original now and making it a bit more complicated and detailed than the simple version, and here are the little cuties :3

******************

The papercraft is unfolded to 20 cm (including the stands) and has 5 pages to print. The craft includes both Bananya and his new fairy friend called “Baby Sweet”, which is a little baby bananya version. The Bananya papercraft is about 19 cm tall and the Baby Sweet one about 9 cm tall.

Both papercraft are pretty simple to make and the flaps of the banana are 2-sided and 2D, so you glue the flaps on the upper cat body first, and then glue on the bottom banana parts next. The paws and her star are also flat parts that you glue on just as is.

Since it is that shape, I did include 2 stands for both of them, so you can either use the stand to put them inside (which also need weights inside to hold the bananyas in place), or you can tie them to some wire or twine to hang them from your celling or shelves to make it look even better.

Cat monitor sitter papercraft

Decided to make a series of so-called “monitor-sitter” papercraft toys. What this means is that they are basically paper figures that you can wedge on your laptop or PC screen and have them there for decoration or moral support, if you will.

These are really simple yet effectively textured papercraft models of different animals, that are smaller in size and fit a slim PC, tablet or laptop screen. The width of the holders are set at approx. 5 mm (since I tested them all on my own laptop screen), but as with all of my papercraft purchases, you can always specify a different scale and I can adjust the size to make fit whatever you want. Alternatively, you can also put them on any book cover, on a glass, a box edge, on a pencil case, etc., to make your room a bit more cheerful and fun :)

This one is a cat design that comes in 3 different designs/colors: white, Siamese and black. The template is 9 cm small and has 1 page to print for each color (and all 3 colors are included in the premium template, of course). The design of the craft itself is pretty simple, since it’s so small, and you got the blank PDO included for the assembly, so no worries about that.

Grim (Twisted Wonderland) built papercraft

Since the anime was confirmed to be released soon and I love the game and story of “Twisted Wonderland”, I took my time and assembled my Grim papercraft I made some time ago. And you can see the results in the preview :)

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

***This is a premium papercraft that you need to purchase in order to receive the PDF and blank PDO files for assembly. – You can find all information about the PayPal purchase in the provided upper outgoing link.***

Beginning with this papercraft, since it is VERY hard and detailed to make (so I recommend this one for experienced papercrafters only), I decided to make the separate cans of food first XD As a kind of a motivation for the parts yet to come, since they are really easy to make and in a “boxy” style design. You can print out all of them, like I did, or even more, and just have fun with the preps. And then starts the real work.

I made my way from top to bottom, first making the ears, then the head and neck. Then I made the 2 hand paws and feet separately, and when I had the hand paws, I attached them on the upper part of the body and the head.

Once you got the head and upper torso, I made the separate trident tail. Very, very tedious to make, lots of small parts, since this is the most complicated thing on the papercraft. Take your time making it, making sure it’s exact and cover any remaining white parts of the flaps (if it’s not glued on to 2 mm accuracy, that can happen), with a black pen and you are good to go. And make sure to really let all the tips dry so it’s hard and sturdy and won’t fall off.

When you got the tail, you can glue it on the already assembled upper torso, and after that attach the legs. Close the cat papercraft in the middle, between the legs, since this will be the easiest way to get all the other harder parts together, and you can make sure to put weights into the legs at the last step, if needed (but if you assemble it like I did, you don’t need additional weights inside, because the trident tail acts like the 3. leg and the papercraft doesn’t fall over).

And once you get the Grim papercraft goether, all that is left are the bow, the necklace (which can also be quite tricky to make, since it’s smaller), and the blue firely tips of his ears. And there you go.

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

Simply follow the PDO instructions you get along with the files when you buy them by messaging me, and it should be obvious really. But as said, it’s quite a tricky papercraft to make, with a lot of small parts of the paws, the tail, the necklace. So I really do suggest this to experienced papercrafters, since not everybody can make this look nice with the details. Quite tricky.

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletyellow: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

I do hope you like the end result in any case, and that the anime will get a release date soon, so we know when to expect it :) The template infos of the papercraft can be found here btw.:
