Pusheen (New Version) built papercraft

Already released the 2 new versions of Pusheen I made as a papercraft template:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Pusheen-New-Version-papercraft-1338228684

And now here is the assembled preview version as well! Let me give you some tips on how to assemble it as well!

***********************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

With any of my papercrafts, start from top to bottom. Make the 2 ears separately first, make the 3D tail and glue together the front and back parts of the 4 whiskers and set those aside.

Now you make Pusheen by getting those 2 ears and build the top parts around it first and continue to glue the parts from the top to the middle part. At this point, you can add the 3D tail on and build the remaining bottom stripes on it till you have only the bottom part with no flaps left. You can then simply close the figure by gluing the bottom on it, add the 4 whiskers at the right parts, add the 2D feet and glue them on the bottom, and it’s done.

Since Pusheen is laying down, you don’t need to fill it out or anything.

*NOTE: I only did the laying down version of 2 versions that are included in the template. The purchase includes this laying down and the sitting papercraft versions.

Pusheen (New Version) papercraft

Everybody knows Pusheen! What am I here to explain to you who this adorable little lady is (: (maybe you didn’t know that, but yeah, Pusheen is a girl). However, maybe I can explain a bit on why I am making a new version of her.

10 years ago, 2016, I made my first Pusheen version when I started papercraft designs (It is still online on my Patreon page to download for FREE, with all the other free stuff I got on there). But, needless to say, my designing skills have massively improved since I started all of this, and the old designs are really cringe and weird, and I removed almost all of them, except a few free ones that are still online. So, I wanted to make a new one, that is really simple to assemble, and really adorable, like the mascot we all know and love.

And here she is in all of her cute, fat, kitty glory! :3

***********************

The papercraft is unfolded to 13 cm and has 5 pages to print out. It has both versions included, a sitting and lying down Pusheen papercraft, since the mascot is known in both poses and I couldn’t decide which one to make XD

Both Pusheens are 3D models, so all of their body is a 3D unfold, including the tail and ears. And then you have 2D whiskers and paws to put on at the end.

Bananya and Baby Sweet built papercraft

Already showed you my newest Bananya & Baby Sweet papercraft I made for the new mini-series and now here is the assembly along with building tips, so let's go-go!

*********************************************

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

These bananyas are best built in 2 separate parts, the lower banana part and the upper cat part with the peels.

Start by making the banana bottom and glue that best from bottom to top, so you have the open top at the end to make it easier.

Set that aside and make the cat part. Best to make this is to build the 2 ears first, since they are the smallest parts, and then glue on the head around the 2 ears to the belly part. There, you glue on the simple 2D 2-sided banana peels on the inside of the cat body.

Since you have the 2 parts, you just put glue on the flaps of the banana bottom you made and slide that inside the cat body at the right angle and let the glue set. And at the end, you can add the 2D paws and the star on.

You also have the optional 2 stands for them you can also assemble to put them inside, and it doesn’t need any extra weight inside to hold, but I still suggest putting some inside when you close the stand, just to make it hold the big bananya better.

And that’s about it. A pretty simple craft and both of them are made the same way. The only small part are the little cat ears, so take time doing those and you are good to go.

Bananya and Baby Sweet papercraft

As you maybe know, waaay back I released the first few Bananya characters from the anime as simple crafts I made to assemble for FREE:

https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/art/Bananya-Bananya-built-papercraft-849359505

But because they are simple versions and stuff I made waaaay back, I decided to make a new version of Bananya and her new friend, since a new short anime came out. I wanted it to look more like the original now and making it a bit more complicated and detailed than the simple version, and here are the little cuties :3

******************

The papercraft is unfolded to 20 cm (including the stands) and has 5 pages to print. The craft includes both Bananya and his new fairy friend called “Baby Sweet”, which is a little baby bananya version. The Bananya papercraft is about 19 cm tall and the Baby Sweet one about 9 cm tall.

Both papercraft are pretty simple to make and the flaps of the banana are 2-sided and 2D, so you glue the flaps on the upper cat body first, and then glue on the bottom banana parts next. The paws and her star are also flat parts that you glue on just as is.

Since it is that shape, I did include 2 stands for both of them, so you can either use the stand to put them inside (which also need weights inside to hold the bananyas in place), or you can tie them to some wire or twine to hang them from your celling or shelves to make it look even better.

Kyuruga (Yoru wa Neko to Issho) built papercraft

The premium template for this cute chunky kitty has already been shared, and now it’s the reveal-time for the assembly preview as well. So, TA-DAAA, here is the little loaf :D

:bulletblue: :bulletblue:

The base template preview is already posted and can be viewed here (and bought by contacting me in a private message so I can send you the PayPal for the deposit, as always):

The template, when purchased, does come with the included blank PDO file as well, but some tips along the way that can maybe help you make it even simpler can be read here. So, here goes.

:bulletblue:

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

I always start from top to bottom, and since the flaps are also positioned that way, I do suggest you also make the head first and close it at the bottom.

Start by making the 2 ears, the 2 front legs and the tail separately. The most “difficult” part would be the tail, that you start at the tip and go along to the beginning, and maybe helping yourself with a stick or tweezers to close it up, since it has a too-narrow part for fingers to fit in. Take your time and do it slowly, aligning the simple textures of the fur.

Once you have those parts, start making the top of the head, gluing on the ears, and continue downwards, gluing on the front paws and at the end the tail. When you got everything together and the tail glued on firmly, simply glue the bottom flat part on there, and the model is done.

Additionally, you can also glue on the back whiskers on when the model is done. I also colored the backside of them black so they look neater and glued them at the parts the PDO shows. But these are optional parts and you can leave them out if you don’t want them.

In any case, it should be a really easy craft to assemble. It probably took me 4-5 hours to make it, including cutting out all of the parts. And it stands without problems or additional weights inside as well.

Kyuruga (Yoru wa Neko to Issho) papercraft

This manga/short anime is absolute S-U-G-A-R. It’s so adorable and I want everybody to see it and watch it and love it XD Please visit their Youtube and support the manga creator as well:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgizvo71txkDWEjcGGc3VPQ

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

It’s a really cute 1-2-minute-long anime adaptation of the manga of a fat little funny cat named Kyuruga (from the derivation of the word “QR-code” in Japanese) and his owner that is getting to know the wonders of owning a cat and what all comes along-side it. Even the name of the cat alone is so funny and cute XD I love everything about this.

So of course, I had to make my own cute little Kyuruga in papercraft form :)

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:

The papercraft itself is unfolded to a 15 cm height and has a 3-page template to assemble it. It’s a basic 3D model of the fat little kitty in his sitting-loaf form, where the back legs are hidden in his fat/fur XD as well as optional 2D whiskers. Should be simple enough to make, the only small fiddly parts would be the tail parts, so I would say it’s a 4/10.

The papercraft is purposely made really simple, since I wanted to mimic the minimalistic take of the work and imitate the simple fur design of Kyuruga as well, so it was super fun to make, since it was just easy and relaxing to make, without any messy small details.

:bulletblue: :bulletblue:

I already made the loafy cutie for the assembly preview, so look forward to that as well :)

I hope you give the manga and the anime a chance and that you find the simple yet adorable animation style as charming as I do! Enjoy and happy crafting~
