Hisuian Zoroark (Pokemon Legends: Arceus) FREE papercraft

Since I posted a survey of what you would like to see in the future, most people wanted to see more Pokemon papercraft. More specifically the new Hisuian Zoroark from the latest game Pokemon Legends: Arceus. So, I said to myself, why not. And here it is.

:bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred:

The papercraft is unfolded to 27 cm and has 6 pages to print. Maybe a bit bigger than my usual papercrafts, since half of the craft is hair that stands on top of its head, so it’s a bit bigger. The papercraft seems complicated, since it has all of that wild hair, but it’s actually to make it simpler.

All those 3D strains of hair the Pokemon has in the game I made into 2D 2-sided pieces that are glued on the 3D body so it’s super easy and simple to make. I mostly use 100g glossy paper for my assembly, and I have also made Zorua the same way with his hair, and it’s a proven fact that if you glue it 2-sided to where it should be, it should hold in place just fine. ***However, if you are actually worried that the hair will fall or you want it neatly placed and posed and/or movable, I suggest you use flat coated wire inside the strains to make them hold like a pro. That’s what I do with some parts of my papercrafts as well. You can see that in my Pikachu papercraft of in the Filo (Tate no Yuusha) papercraft I made and posted. Just as a tip.

Else, you got a normal fairly easy 3D body of Zoroark, and a lot of these 2D hairs/fur that you can put on his body to make it look cool and floaty as in the game. The Pokemon details are probably not too accurate, since I made it myself (as I do with all of my papercrafts), and also drawn the textures myself from references of my Switch game and online. Comes pretty close to the original and I really like the outcome.

Hisuian Zorua (Pokemon Legends: Arceus) built papercraft

Some time ago I made a Hisuian Zorua papercraft, when the game wasn't even released yet. And now, I finally got around and had the time to make it, so you can view the assembled papercraft here.

:bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred:

The papercraft is 21 cm tall and is actually simple to make, since most of the “complicated” strains of hair that it has that are normally 3D, I made with 2D 2-sided pieces. So, it looks original as the model in the game + it’s really fast and easy to build.

As with all of my papercraft, I started with the head. I first made the 2 separate ears and left them for later. Then I started to make the 2D strain of hair on his head, attaching the piece then on the 3D top of the head on both sides (since it’s 2-sided, so it looks good from both sides). When I got the 2D + 3D top hair on the head built, I started to make the head, and when it was finished, I also attached the ears and the 4 stubs, 2 on each cheek side. Once the whole head is finished, make your way to the neck part. Here, when you come to the 2-sided part of its mane at the back, attach it on the 3D part from both sides, so the color is visible and not the flaps (as you did on the hair). When that is done, I first made all 4 legs separately, so I could just attach them on like that, since I find it easier to close it at the end with either the tail or the rear. You glue those body parts on the mane, 1 at a time, and attach the pre-made legs on at the right time, making your way to the back. Once there, I closed the rear (this part is probably going to be the trickiest of the assembly, but just follow the PDO file + take your time and you should be fine) and decided to make the tail last, closing it with the last 2D 2-sided tail strain, nice and easy. And it should be finished.

Pro-tip: The papercraft is quite top/head-heavy, so be sure that when you close it either with the tail or the rear parts, you put some weights inside the back-legs to support it that way. I always use smaller pebbles, that you can just throw in at the last few pieces of closing it up, and a few of those should be enough to make it stand that way.

Sexy catgirl papercraft

Quite unusual papercraft to find on my page, huh? XD Well it was actually made for a commission, so the idea was from the reference illustration found online from the commissioner. HOWEVER, I did get the get-go to re-sell the papercraft for anybody interested, so here she is in all her half-naked glory.

:bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink:

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 26 cm altogether, so the catgirl is about 23 cm tall. She has quite some small intricate parts, such as the toes on her bare feet, and the fingers of course. The hair may look extremely difficult, but it’s actually just stripes you glue on the head, so it has the effect of hair strands that way, but is super easy to make. The black shirt with the deep cleavage is 2-sided and has a torso with “anatomically correct” boobies underneath XD (Yeah, what can I do, beauty is beauty, and what is more beautiful than the female body). Apart from that, you have the hat with the cat ears on them, which can be slid on or off, since it fits the head perfectly. Then you also have some details such as the belt with the belt buckle (that resembles a cat tail) and the stand. The cat stand has a bulge where you fit the standing leg in so it holds it in place, and the second leg is supported by the black wooden stool as well. That way the papercraft can stand easily without support, but weights can also be added in the feet to be extra sure.

As said, the papercraft is 100% made by me. I re-drawn the face from the reference picture, since it had to be as similar to the picture as possible and the cat face was an idea from another reference on the internet. UV-maps and textures are made and drawn by me with my own 2 hands. As are all of the papercrafts I make.

:bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink: :bulletpink:

A bit of a different approach to papercrafts that I wanted to show, even if it is a bit “controversial”. But I do like the beauty and elegance of her, so I was happy to have designed her. And to prove that I can really make any commission happen, no matter what the idea or the reference. Even if it’s an anime illustration found online.

Just write me a note or a message regarding what you would like to be made, and off we go :)

Hope you like this beautiful girl papercraft, and that we can also see her being assembled by the commissioner soon and that the pictures get shared online for everybody to see :) In the meanwhile I got tons of other stuff to design/assembly/share, so I am never short of work.

Enjoy and happy crafting~
