Phoenix Wright (life-size) papercraft commission
My newest life-size papercraft, the main character of the “Phoenix Wright – Ace Attorney” games, Ryuuichi Naruhodo ;)
The character is based off of the 3DS model with textures, but because of the small scale of the game models, I had to fix the textures quite some bit to make it work. Textures of the face and open mouth are all made by me, since the game one was totally useless. The model was also edited quite a bit, had to make the arms work, we had some discussions about how to make the hand, since in the 3D version they also use enlarged limbs to make his iconic pose even more pronounced. So, it was a back and forth with this one XD But I made quite some life-size papercrafts in my lifetime, so I am quite accustomed to this as well as cosplay preps, so nothing too hard as well.
The papercraft is unfolded to his natural size, which is 176 cm. Quite some pieces to work with, but the commissioner is also accustomed to making them, so I am sure it will turn out great as always. Can’t wait to see this cutie being made, and when it’s gonna be finished, I’ll be sure to share the pictures on here as well.
