Warabbit (Pokemon - Fakemon) papercraft

Well, if you don’t live under a rock and love Pokemon, you have heard about the Teraleak thing. And one of the MOST popular things found in the huge data pool from there, was a discarded water starter design called “Warabbit”. I saw the doodle of it and just fell in love instantly, so I had to make the little cutie into a papercraft as well. And here it is!

*****************

The papercraft is unfolded to a height of 20 cm and has 4 pages to print.

It would be a medium difficulty, since the tube is 3D and the ears are pretty thin. And since the legs are in such a position, they would also have to be additionally reinforced with weights so he can stand firmly.

*Also note that since it was just leaked as a doodle, there is on exact universal look of him in 3D, so I made and designed it how I think it would look the best and how I see it :)

Ethan sygna suit (Pokemon) papercraft commission

Another Pokemon trainer commission I did, and this time it’s Ethan in his sygna suit from Pokemon Masters. The model, texture, pose, as always, is 100% and completely MADE BY ME. The reference I took was from the Pokemon Masters model, but the game is for mobile and the original textures are absolute poopy, so I couldn’t have used them, even if I wanted to.

The pose is from the game when he throws his Pokeball in battle, as the commissioner wanted, and he has his typical suit from the game with all of the details on it.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 26 cm and has 4 pages to print. It consists of a 3D model of Ethan in his suit and with all of his 3D and 2D add-ons.

Rei (Pokemon PLA) papercraft commission

Way back when “Pokemon Legends – Arceus” didn’t even come out yet, I did my version of Akari as a papercraft I am selling:

And now the circle closes, because I also made the male protagonist of the game as a commission as well, so here it is.

The model, texture, pose, as always, is 100% and completely MADE BY ME. The reference I took was from the Pokemon Masters model, but the game is for mobile and the original textures are absolute poopy, so I couldn’t have used them, even if I wanted to.

The pose is from the game when he throws his Pokeball in battle, as the commissioner wanted, and I also re-did the design of the ancient Pokeball from the time I made it for Akari (because obviously when I made it for her, the game wasn’t even out yet and nobody actually knew 100% how it looks up-front).

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 28 cm and has 10 pages to print. It consists of a 3D model of the running Rei with all of his 3D and 2D add-ons and the 3D stand for him as well.

Bunigiri (Pokemon/Fakemon) built papercraft

Showed you the template of the Bunigiri Pokemon/Fakemon I made a while back:

And now I can also show you the assembled monster in all its cuteness! Behold, the fluffy snowbunny! :)

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

Generally, you can divide the papercraft into 2 parts, the 3D body part and the 2D, 2-sided parts, such as the ears, the berries, arms and tail.

The body is best build from top to bottom, since I do put the flaps in that logic. Build the main body and then build the 2 legs first and glue those on pre-assembled and close with the bottom part with no flaps. A bit fiddly, but you can easily make this with some handy tweezers.

And when you build the 3D body, you get to the 2D parts. Tips for these:

1.       Glue the 2 ears on a wire, since it will be easier to attach them if you make 2 small holes in the head and glue them on like that, since I didn’t and it doesn’t hold that well. Note that if you do use wire, you need to glue them on the inner side with some tape and do that BEFORE you close the 3D body.

2.       The 2D tail can be attached the same way as the ears, with wire, but it definitely needs to be glued on the bottom part so it can be used as additional weight to make the bunny stand (if you don’t put weights inside the legs – if you do put the weights inside before closing, you can glue on the tail wherever you want).

And there you go, a nice little Bunnigiri all for yourself to make :3
