Before I post anything further, I wanted to share with you my newest FREE papercraft. But not just any old papercraft, but one that I designed with a very special message behind it.
As you are or are not aware of the situation in Hong Kong in the last few months, it has become a battlefield of not just ideas, sides or countries, but a media war that wants you to choose the “right side” of the “just” war and terror going on there, at least the right side of the US media broadcast that lets you see trinkets of things going on.
As I have many, many friends over the whole globe, I also happen to have some friends from Hong Kong, and I have seen with my own eyes what both sides are capable of and what is going on, news that does not get shown in our “eastern” block, but their inside news that never gets to the internet in English. And let me tell you, there is no right side to choose.
What is happening there is a war not of ideas, not of the right or wrong side, not about people, it’s about 2 corrupt systems of beliefs and economics, the “just” and “freedom” of the United States or the “unity” and “brotherhood” of China, that both want to sell to the people. It’s all just about the money! And the people of Hong Kong are suffering from it, very much so.
I wanted to speak my mind about this, because I see media showing their “unopinionated news” in throats of all the people over the internet, and people believing that “corrupt China” is to blame for everything, and that the so called students/freedom fighters are the moral winners of the raging war. But they are not as black & white as these media want you to see them.
I do not stand for any side of this war, let me be clear, because it’s only a brutal game of who gets more cash at the end. My wish here is to inform and point out the flaws of this “objective broadcasting” that you get of things going on there, and my wish is for you people to get your opinion not only from 1 or 2 posts, but my wish is for you to really look into things, look from both perspectives, gain a knowledge base that is not only reliant on 1 news source, and make your opinion based on many different FACTS, and not “facts” from bias news sources that want to make this war justifiable because it is about “freedom”. It is about a state that is unfortunately caught up in 2 different political schemes, 2 different economy systems, and the people have to pay for it.
To make myself heard and for you to understand the situation there, and the point I am trying to make, I have made a free papercraft that is depicting the thought that I wanted to share in form of a symbol. I have made a panda (the national animal of Hong Kong), that is wearing a T-shirt that says “I love Hong Kong” and stands on a red stand with the national symbolic flower of the city as well as these flowers for a sing of peace, to try to maybe change this horrible situation a bit, as much as I can with my papercrafts that I have.
I have not designed it to be the so called “freedom fighters” the “Stand with Hong Kong protesters”, with their hard hats and umbrellas, because my point being is that those, in the “USA side of things” being freedom loving heroes, are nothing but rioters and violent crime offenders on the “Chinese side of things”. I have taken the “Stand with Hong Kong” situation and tried to make people see both sides of the story and point being that we all are too easy manipulated by the huge media corporations, especially in this internet-driven times.
I do hope you take my words to heart and try to see what I wanted to say. Therefore, explaining what the symbol should be, I present you my free Hong Kong panda papercraft. The papercraft is 27 cm tall and has 11 pages to print. The download has 5 different PDF pages to print (lined with colored flaps, lined without colored flaps, lineless with colored flaps, lineless without colored flaps, as well as the edge ID files for better assembly), as well as the locked PDO file, because I really want this papercraft to be built and shared all around the internet for everybody to see.

I want this papercraft to stand for all the media oppression and false news sharing, bias news reports and so called “unopinionated” news, because other countries are suffering from these as well, especially countries in the middle of wars and protest, to stand with all of the true heroes behind the fake news, in Hong Kong, Colombia, France, even in my country Slovenia, and all around the world!
