What papercraft should I focus on next?

I got so much projects open, very little time, and have lost the plot. I sometimes have so much ideas, I don’t even know where to start. So, this is where you come in.

I decided to make a small interactive poll to see what my viewers would be the most interested in seeing as a short-term papercraft project. All of these are somewhat open or half-finished concepts, ideas and 3D models I will do in the future, but since I can’t decide what to focus on first, I need the polls help!

So, please vote on what you would like to see made first and of course, if you have any other ideas yourself, let me know in the comments and I’ll see what we can do:

Summer Hoshidan Xander (Fire emblem) commission

Another Fire Emblem papercraft commission I can show a preview of, this is “Summer Hoshidan Xander” from the Fire Emblem seasonal event, made with some really cute tanabata bamboo summer-vibe stand and misc.

The papercraft is unfolded to about 70 cm, with 54 pages to print (some of them being double-sided print pages for the inner kimono parts and the back side of the bamboo). Xander himself is about 40 cm tall, so he is the same scale as the armored base Xander one I made as a commission before, so both fit together.

I am pretty sure the commissioner will share some pictures sooner or later, because they always make amazing builds and I can’t wait to see this in real life and brought to action soon (:

A bit of an interactive Sunday to get some general knowledge on what supporters think of my work and what your wishes are:

I have posted a poll with 10 options to choose about “What new papercrafts do you want me to make?”. I want to gather new ideas for upcoming papercrafts I can make and also hear about what you think about it, what you wish to see more of in my work and in general how you feel about the things I do post.

From tomorrow, Thursday 8th till including Sunday 11th August “Antyyy” aka “Antyyy's Papercrafts” will be on vacation and away from all 21th century technology (yes, no PC and no internet and I love it XD).

I will not be able to reply to any comments, messages or other questions you may send me during that time.

Xander (Fire Emblem) papercraft commission

Xander (Fire Emblem) papercraft commission

Another commission I did and that I can show the preview of. This is the sexy Xander from the series Fire Emblem :) A really popular character that I love as well, so I had to make it justice.

  

The papercraft is unfolded to almost 40 cm height and consists of 23 pages to print. It has a 3D Xander with simple 2D hair stripes, a 3D as well as a 2D sword version you can choose to make and a 3D stand in the design of the Super Smash trophy, which he is also referenced on.

I modeled and made it by referencing and looking at his official model in the games, but the 3D model as well as the textures are all drawn by me. He has quite a few UV-maps, I think 10 all in all, because his armor has so many small details on it so it took some time to make it all.

All in all, I think he actually looks better than the original, since the last game he was in had a very iffy resolution of the textures, so this new look makes him quite refreshing XD

Hope the commissioner will share the pictures of the finished figure, since I would love to see it made myself. I’ll post the pictures in the link later on :)

I am sharing these commissions, so people know how they look, what to expect and what everything can be made into a papercraft, if they want to. Hope it motivates you to do a new craft or 2 of your own, till then enjoy and happy crafting~

Since some of you know, or don’t know, I have been slaving and working away for 1 month now to update my pages, as promised, with updated links and PDO’s etc., and I have finally managed to update all of the FREE section papercrafts I have for download :)

Since I wanted to update the page to really highlight my current work and skills, I have also removed some really old papercrafts out of my “FREE papercrafts” gallery (https://www.deviantart.com/antyyy/gallery/60188530/free-papercrafts)  that were really not up to par with my current modeling/texturing abilities and I really didn’t like anymore. But don’t fear!
