I got itchy fingers and wanted to do some Pokemon papercrafts again. But none of the designers making Pokecrafts actually take the time to make their own textures and models (which is really sad, because the original models, no matter what, have an absolute crappy texture quality), so I wanted to take my time to make my own models and textures and make something special. – And since it’s the season of Halloween and overall dressing up as somebody different, I wanted to make a concept of that and made some cosplay Pokemon for those :D
So, paired up with my idea of Halloween and the Pokemon Café Remix mobile game costumes they put out, I decided to make a Braxien in its witch costume :)
The papercraft itself is unfolded to 25 cm, so the overall Model of Braxien should be about 20 cm high. It includes a model of Braxien, a separate 2D 2-sided coat, a separate hat, a 3D separate stick (with a 2D 2-sided flame), a separate 3D spell book and some 2D decorative bow.
All separate ad-ons are optional and fit Braxien exactly, so you can simply add them on or off, however you feel like displaying it. The template itself has 6 pages to print and can be somewhat difficult to make, because of the tiny whiskers’ parts and such, so I would say a 5/10. Also, considering that it is quite top-heavy because of the ears and hat and pose, it would be best to fill out the legs with weights as well, so it stands better.
