Human Buneary (Pokemon) papercraft

Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations online, so I got the inspiration to make a somewhat different Pokemon, the cutesy Buneary into a humanoid papercraft or gijinka as they are called in Japanese. And here she is.

This is another darker-skinned design and it looks perfect for this Pokemon. Not a whole lot of anime characters are actually really diverse, so not a lot of opportunities for a concept like that, but this fits it so damn well, I really love the way she looks. Hopefully I get some more opportunities to try a different design than my usual art to get even better at what I do ;)

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 16 cm and has 2 pages to print out. It consists of a 3D model of the humanoid Buneary OC, as well some 2D flowery/puffy add-ons that are simply glued on to make the parts look cute. The model itself also has simple 2D hands to make the assembly easy and fast, and the braid is also hollow at the bottom, so it’s easier to put together as well.

It also would need to be additionally weight-down with some weights added in the legs, because of the somewhat tilted leg pose, but nothing hard to do. Just put in some pebbles when you close the leg part and you are good to go, or even add in magnets in the shoes to make her stick to metal surfaces, if you feel like it.

Hanying Solacetune (Punishing Gray Raven) papercraft

Hanying Solacetune (Punishing GR) papercraft

Another very demanding papercraft commission and another stunning craft. The commissioner wanted Hanying in her Solacetune skin from the game “Punishing: Gray Raven”. So, I had to completely base it off of the official model of her skin and the model has 8 UV-maps I had to completely re-draw myself =_= Took me probably again over 40 hours to make (same as with all of these demanding and detailed characters) , starting with the model, then pose and then all the pieces of the texture, meticulously drawing one piece at a time and being as close to the model as I could.

The result is a truly stunning Hanying papercraft model, unfolded to 37 cm (30 cm hiehgt for the Hanying model herself) and with 10 pages to print. It consists of a 3D model of Hanying in her Solacetune skin, with long hair from the base skin, a bunch of 2D add-ons and a simple 3D biwa from another different skin. And you also have a 3D stand base, drawn in the style of her dress.

Showing this papercraft because I am really happy with the result, although it is based off an existing model. It was very hard to make, but the end piece is just like an anime figure you can find in any anime shop. And I am also showing it because people can see what they can commission for themselves if they want a custom papercraft/3D model made as well.

Arabalika (Genshin) FREE papercraft

Summer started and I wanted to sweeten up the hot and sweaty days coming with some FREE papercrafts everybody can enjoy. And I thought, why not make some cute “Genshin Impact” crafts, because everybody loves that game. And I did some of the most popular Aranara and I will be releasing a few of them each week to come so you can directly download and assemble them from my Patreon :)

This papercraft is from the Aranara called “Arabalika”. It is unfolded to 17 cm and has 3 pages to print.

NOTE: The stem does need to be additionally reinforced with some wire or similar, to make it stand firmly, because it’s just a 2D 2-sided part.

Also note that some parts might not be 100% accurately textured as they look in the game, because I did these with reference pictures only, since none of them are available as 3D models. So, if they don’t look completely the same as in the game, I am sorry and I hope you still find them fun to assemble and super cute, as I do :)

Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations online, so I got the inspiration to make a human OC papercraft out of the Pokemon Zygarde with a sexy and elegant woman papercraft so here she is in all of her glory.

The papercraft itself is unfolded to 24 cm and consists of 4 printable pages. It has a 3D model of the Zygarde girl with 3D and optional, simple 2D hands, as well as some add-on 2D items. All parts are visible with the added blank PDO file you get with the purchase and you can see everything there on how to make it, so no worries about the assembly itself.

The papercraft has the dress with no legs or anything, so it stands firmly without any problems or additional reinforcing. The only small parts on this would be the 3D braid hair, which takes more time to make as the rest and the 3D hands, if you choose to make them 3D.

Now it’s time for the building process and some tips along the way.

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

As with any of my assemblies, start from top and move to the bottom. And since she has a nice dress, you can also divide the build into separate pieces: The face and neck with the back hair, the arms with the hands, the torso with the dress and the legs.

Start by making the face part first, glue on the front bangs first and then add the back part of the hair and the neck. You can close the hair with the last bottom part with no flaps and that’s done.

Next, you can put together the 2 arms. You have the 3D as well as the 2D version of the hands to choose for these (I assembled the easier 2D version here). Put aside and assemble the upper torso part with the collar first. When you have the torso, you can glue the head with the neck and the 2 arms inside it. And once that is dried, glue on the remaining part of the dress and the necktie.

Lastly come the legs that you build from bottom to top. And before gluing on this part inside the dress, make sure to add in some weights so it stands nicely. And it’s finished.

A rather old design I made and completely forgot to post XD It was made while looking at some anime inspirations online, so I decided to make a somewhat crossover of a slime girl, Hatsune Miku and a jellyfish… well, this is what came out. A rather unique pose I wanted to try out and I think it’s rather cute-ish :)
