Saw some humanoid Pokemon illustrations online, so I got the inspiration to make one of my favs, Mimikyu, into a humanoid papercraft. And here it is.
I went for a darker, disguise, hidden face that really highlights the nature of Mimikyu, since it keeps its real body/form hidden under the Pikachu-disguise all the time.
The papercraft itself is unfolded to 18 cm and consists of a 3D model of Mimikyu as well as the longer 2-tier dress and the 2D 2-sided tail at the back.
The papercraft does have 2 legs to stand on, so it shouldn’t have any problems standing even without weights inside the feet, but you can always add them just in case. The only small parts on this would be the 2 black tips on the ears and maybe gluing in the face inside the hood as a bit of a fiddlier task, but that’s about it. I would give it a 6/10.
